The food and service at The Garrison were great, but what really stood out tonight was the kindness of a stranger. It was a touching reminder that there are still wonderful, appreciative people out there who take a moment to say "thank you" in their own way. To the person who paid for our meal--thank you. I don't like shrimp but their alfredo fettuccine is good. The club salad looks delicious and is piled high! The kraut balls are A LOT smaller than I remember but tasted the same- I love them. The place needs updating and I've never noticed the smell of "grease" until today. But I also remember there was a time when people smoked IN the restaurant and I never thought anything of that LOL!
