Once we made it here we had a great time. Apple GPS takes you all kinds of crazy and not alot of signs to point you in the right direction. We booked a tour and one of the two owners did our tour it was my husband and I and him. He was friendly and chatted openly with us. The other owner was manning the bar. Both owners were friendly and straight up. They offer pizza and it was delicious. The grounds are well kept. They offer axe throwing outside as well. We would return! We had my husband's retirement party at the distillery. It could not have been better! We had fresh pizza, meatballs, and salad. They did not disappoint. The drinks were great as well. I have seen the ads for this company and it's cool events on FB. My husband and I decided to check it out on our first free afternoon and we saw that they were open on Black Friday (with a 25% off sale on EVERYTHING). We enjoyed the short trip from Crestview, down a winding tree lined road. BTW, Apple Maps does not send you to the right location, when you get to the "end" of Lake Ella Road, take a right and the Distillery is about 1-1.5 miles down on the right hand side....the big sign is easy to spot. We went into the tasting room after driving past some disc golf nets ($10 to play....looks like we'll be doing that soon!). The beautiful rustic building caught our eye as we pulled into the parking lot, and we saw the axe throwing area off to the side. Inside the tasting room, we met the owner who had just finished doing a tasting for the couple ahead of us. They grabbed stools for us and we were off on an educational sample tour of the different offerings of the Distillery. The owner is very knowledgeable about his craft, personable, and he didn't rush us as we chatted about the area, the notes we were tasting, and pairings and mixed drinks that could be made with each alcohol. The inside of the building is as beautiful as the outside, and we learned that it was built by the owners. It is a relaxed place to unwind and get started on the weekend. Typically the Distillery is open on Saturdays, from 11-4, and Black Friday was a special opening. The Distillery takes all forms of payment, including American Express, Visa, and Mastercard. Our receipt was emailed to me immediately upon our purchase. We bought a bottle of Timber Creek Florida Apple Pie, and Timber Creek Florida Gin. And we bought a token for a wood fired pizza. There are plenty of others that we will be buying in the future! After purchasing the 750 mL bottles, my husband decided to try the hand mixed drinks the owner creates and serves on tap. First he tried the Strawberry Rhubarb Lemonade made with Timber Creek Florida Vodka, then he ordered the Timber Creek Tiki, which is Timber Creek Florida Rum, pineapple and jalapeño. The mixed drink menu changes periodically, but both had such a good flavor that it bodes well for all other mixed drinks too. Outside while we waited for our wood fired pizza, we used the corn hole games that were set up. It was so quiet out there! While it felt rural, we knew that we were only about 15 minutes from Crestview, so it was a relaxing getaway for the afternoon. Our wood fired pizza had a choice of toppings. Today there was pepperoni, pulled pork, onions, homemade tomato sauce and mozzarella. The staff member who was baking the pizza told us about how they make the crust on site, and she explained about the handcrafted pizza oven and the varying temperatures. She also mentioned that they have pizza making classes, so we look forward to signing up for that event in the future. Speaking of events, almost every weekend they host different events that you can sign up for on their website. There's lots of variety and would be great for a date night or for a group of friends to go and relax. There are comedy nights, distillery tours, special food events, and more....but even if you're not signed up for an event, you should still go on a Saturday to check them out! We live this place! It's a little out of the way, but worth the drive. Their stone oven pizza is fantastic! A definite "must try" when you visit. They have different themes monthly, and base their pizzas and drinks on that theme. Smart. Now, the best part: their booze! Stop by the bar and sample their many types and flavors of whiskey and other spirits. The owners are fantastic. Great conversations for sure. Hope to see you there! read more

The place has great potential but the owner-Distiller is so rude. When we asked a question his response was ( if you stop talking I'll get to it ). F bombs in front of two ladies. He couldn't finish a sentence without cursing. His alcohol very low end. If you make Vodka,Gin,Bourbon,Whisky you can't be good at any one thing. I went to the Comedy Show that was hosted last night! It was such a fun time and the comedians were great! We need more of these types of activities in Crestview! This is really a hidden gem tucked away back in the woods in Crestview! If it's been raining though, cars may have an issue as part of the road is clay and gets pretty gnarly to drive through. The Strawberry Rhubarb Lemonade drink they have is hands down the MOST DELICIOUS drink I have ever had in my life! The guys behind the bar were very knowledgeable and you can even do a tasting of the different liquors they make! I was able to get there early for the comedy show (which I recommend) because the SUNSET WAS SO GORGEOUS to watch from the Distillery. So magical! The pizzas were amazing! I absolutely recommend following their Facebook page for the events they do, while I though my originally it was pretty high for prices, it is absolutely worth it! read more

This place has a lot of potential. The staff were very friendly. It is out in the country so it's a little bit of a drive, no problem for us. My husband and I went to an event there recently and had to leave early. It was in the evening hours. This our first visit. There was no indoor seating for the event and in some cases that is fine but it's warm weather and there are no fans there. They were serving pizza in the big outdoor oven. The parts of the pizza that were not charred were good. I didn't like the cocktails being served so I thought I would just get a soda but no, if you don't want to drink alcohol it's only water. My husband did like their whiskey though. Seating is wooden picnic tables and cheap canvas folding chairs. There is not a smoking section designated so I had smokers light up on both sides of me and I had to move. I'm guessing there are livestock nearby because it smelled like a stockyard. The mosquitoes were bad too. Between the stench of livestock poop and the mosquitoes I had to leave early. There were 2 dogs roaming around the tables begging for food but they were sweet dogs. They took care of the burnt pizza pieces. My husband and I wasted $80 on burnt pizza, sitting outside, hot, mosquitoes biting and the opening comedy act was terrible. Unfortunately we missed the main act because I couldn't stand the smell any longer and I can't tolerate mosquitoes. Try it but take your own chairs, mosquito repellent and something to drink if you don't want alcohol. read more

Took my kid to their brick oven pizza event. The event was pretty well organized although I felt it was short staffed and there were limited seating arrangements for the amount of tickets sold. The kids had a good time and the food was not half bad. The staff was friendly. I decided to buy a bottle of vodka seeing as the advertise their spirits have won awards. I have no clue what award they could have gotten for their vodka - it was the worst tasting I have ever had. I can't even come up with a way to hide the flavor (and vodka should not have a flavor) so I threw out most of it. Company has potential but needs a lot more help read more

My girlfriend and I paid $60 for tickets to a Luau they hosted. We were promised a bonfire, great food, and fire spinning. They delivered on none of those promises. There was no bonfire, no fire spinning, and they didn't have near enough food for everyone. There was nothing Hawaiian about the experience at all. They didn't even have Hawaiian music. The staff working the event had only been hired that day, and had no knowledge about the spirits or the processes used. The owner was real disrespectful toward people, especially women, and made it clear that all he cared about was making money. The event was very poorly planned, and all of the guests were lost. No signs of where to enter or where to go. It was awful. I was completely unsatisfied by the whole ordeal. There weren't any decorations or anything. Waste of money. Also, the liquor was far from delicious. I'll never buy another bottle of Timber Creek liquor again, nore will I ever attend another event at the distillery. read more
