I got to the mall for a release of a sought after item at 9:00 a.m. store was to open at 10:00 a.m. this store has two doors. What this store also has is no education handling crowd central. They allowed people in the twenties to wait inside (most logical) and then we found out there was an even longer line outside. When we tried to tell the store this a woman who is usually mean on a good day scoffed at us and only yelled though the door that she would be opening both doors at once (a safety issue) this woman is a middle aged woman with her hair up and I think it was green. She has never been kind. Today was worse. She made it her goal to let the other people in first even though we did the right thing by standing outside the store in the mall. There was a two limit per person (a joke) as people in line were calling the other outside line as families were manning both lines with multiple people per family to buy two per everyone in their party. So most families passed the "system" and worked both lines. What's the worst part of all of this? The owner Jenna was there during all of this. It could have been civilized. It could have been organized. A number per person. Staff calming people down. Not having three and under children working when you have two lines to get through. I can't recommend this store any longer. Nothing about today showed that they cared about fairness. And for the horrible employee with the green bun, you work in a toy store have some compassion towards others. You are always angry and awful to approach and you are the last reason this store lost a customer today. You are simply cruel in an unusual way.

They're even many educational flash cards and books for children. I was even able to pick up an adult coloring book for myself. Regardless of whatever you buy they'll wrap your purchased items which is great because I can't wrap a gift to save my life. The service is very friendly and the overall atmosphere is nice. It's great to still see some toy stores around, especially since nowadays you can simply buy toys online on Amazon or other retailers. However If you're looking for some fun toys or gifts for any kids I think it's worth stopping by.

Because my doctor's appointment was nearby, I came along with him. I am currently 39 weeks pregnant and scheduled for a C-section tomorrow. While browsing, I found items I intended to purchase, but first needed to use the restroom. I asked the employee at the desk if there was a restroom available, and I was told the closest one was across the street at a gas station. This was confusing, considering this is a shop where patrons often spend hours browsing, trading cards, and participating in tournaments. When I pointed that out, another employee chimed in to say the restroom was "not open to the public" unless there was a tournament. At that point, multiple employees began offering explanations that felt dismissive rather than helpful. As a visibly very pregnant customer, accompanying my husband who is an established patron, being told to walk across the street to a gas station restroom felt incredibly inconsiderate and humiliating. I ultimately walked away because the interaction was becoming upsetting. My husband was equally frustrated, and we left immediately. I understand businesses can have restroom policies, but basic compassion and customer service matter--especially in situations involving pregnancy or medical need. This experience left a very negative impression.

I was able to find some games that I had never seen in California, for example Hanamikoji which I ended up buying! Price seemed reasonable and comparable to what I see here in California. I had a great time browsing board games here and had a wonderful time shopping here. My only comment was I hope the staff were a little bit friendlier to us - they helped us with what we needed but they were not smiling or wouldn't go out of their way to be friendly to us, I would say. But I still had a good time here :)

My first contacts were never answered. After finally answering, they proceeded to inform me that my Comic-Con exclusives that are over a decade old and unopened aren't worth anything. That first edition DC Batman Black and White's aren't worth anything....ect. This place is not worth the time. Well over $1000 in valuables and they wouldn't even bother asking for an in-person evaluation, then told me to "try ebay". I was hoping this was going to be one of many sales as my collection spans three entire rooms, but they won't be getting a dime of seller's fees from this collection. Don't bother with this place. Edit: Check his response. What a fucking asshole. Way to drive away business, prick! I used to shop here and figured they'd accommodate as they advertise but no. It's in an old garage --- make the leap of faith and follow the chalk sign into the post-industrial wasteland of a gravel parking area, then bear left. Presentation is more warehouse than toy store --- utilitarian metal shelves, with cardboard bins of items listing name, price, and part number. Some of the furniture is set up in a small showroom/playroom. I saw lots of "Palumba" (or "Palümba") and "Camden Rose" signage --- from what I can tell, Camden Rose makes & wholesales the wooden toys, and Palumba is their retail branch that will sell you just one, right now. The chalk sign on the sidewalk included both names. The books cover a variety of ages, but maybe a quarter of the selection is Elsa Beskow stuff like _Ollie's Ski Trip_ (Swedish, 1907, featuring King Winter and Mrs Thaw, illustrated in an Art Nouveau style). I picked up a treasure-map-making kit (with instructions to have an adult help age the map), a ready-made treasure map, and a small book. I held off on the wooden sword --- it's pretty, but Nerf swords are still causing the occasional problem. Laura Ingalls Wilder would appreciate most of the toys here. So do I. Don't be afraid of the construction vehicles parked outside.
