I gave the repairman my grandfather clock to repair the chime. He instead decided to replace the working clock spring and took the original spring for himself. Now the clock stopped working as before (had to be wound every week instead of the original 3 weeks) and the chime still did not work correctly. The original spring was unique and could not be bought anywhere, and he decided to keep this spring and when I asked for it he said he threw it away. After another trip to his store the chime still did not work properly and the original time function does not work as well (I need to wind the clock every 10-14 days (unstable!) instead of the original three weeks). When I try to contact the man and tell him my problem he was very rude and told me not to bother him. He told me that if I wanted my money back I needed to give him my clock for him to keep! read more

We had our grandfather clock fixed by Time Masters about a year ago, an expensive fix at $350.00 and then it just stopped working. I called Izik the owner and he came by within a few days and found the problem and it was fixed. He did not charge for this second call which was great. It's now been running for a couple of weeks and we hope it will stay that way. I was very happy with the service as he could have tried to charge us again but didn't so I give him 5 stars for customer service. I have had my Seiko watch for years and every time I've had the battery replaced, I was told that it would no longer be "water resistant" once the back was removed. I went to Time Masters last week for a new watch battery and was told that it wasn't water resistant because it was missing its washer. He replaced it and the battery, and cleaned and lubed the interior for about $13. This man is a truly professional watch/clock person. I will return to him and only to him in the future. read more

Stumbled upon this place by accident...I usually go to Oaks Jewelers on Solano for all watch repair needs but they were closed that day....Went on Google to see if any other watch repair businesses were open nearby on a Monday and found Time Masters on Yelp....Drove to the place but could not find it after 30 minutes of driving up and down Solano Ave. I decided it wasn't meant to be and went back to Oaks the following day to have them try to fix a broken ceramic link to repair the bracelet of my watch. I received a call a few days later and they were not able to fix the watch since they said the link that broke was adjacent to the watch body and was unrepairable....I was devastated, this was a very expensive watch which was now useless to me....I thought I would take my chance and try to find Time Masters again...I later discovered he relocated a few stores down, went in to find an elderly gentleman who examined my watch very carefully and explained everything in detail what he was going to attempt to do to fix it, step by step....The owner/repairman is a GENIUS, I REPEAT, A GENIUS AND MASTER OF HIS CRAFT!!!...I was worried he would not be able to fix my watch but I received a message the very next day expecting bad news, but instead, he informed me "your watch is fixed, please pick it up anytime".....I was absolutely in disbelief and ecstatic at the same time...I rushed over to his shop and felt like jumping over the counter to hug and kiss Mr. "time master" but didn't want him to think I was some weirdo....he can do ANY work that other places claim are non-repairable. He did a great job repairing my self-winding watch and was very upfront about the costs and wasn't aggressive about the interaction. He said if he could fix it , the cost would be this, but if he couldn't then no cost and suggested it was up to me. He didn't promise rainbows. I appreciate that plus he was able to fix the watch.
