We love Trails End so much that there was no other choice for us when choosing the caterer for our daughter's wedding. My only negative comment is that they only offer their bacon wrapped dates on their catering menu - I would go there daily for that alone! All that said, they are #1 for us!

The manager was very nice and super helpful and what could have been a big problem on a very busy evening turned into a few minutes of waiting outside on a sunny day. The food was good (WOW - especially the Parmesan Artichoke dip. I expected it to be the usual, creamy dip you get everywhere but this had a hit of garlic that made it SPECTACULAR.) But the BEST part of the evening was our server, Brenton. He was funny, kind, very good at his job, checked in with us at exactly the right times and just generally made the evening a great one. Am rating 4 stars instead of 5 for two reasons: 1) They have no gluten free options. Not a GF bun, bread., pasta nor pizza dough. I understand not having many, but to have no GF choices is just not great these days. My husband with celiac disease had very few options. 2) Need more and reservable outside seating. Especially on the beautiful days (like this one was) - having to sit inside was a big bummer. They had more tables outdoors but we were told those were waiting areas and that we couldn't eat there. Anyway - a good spot and an even better one if they made just a couple changes.

The Fish Po' Boy was perfectly deep-fried--crispy on the outside, flaky on the inside. The tartar sauce was hands down the best I've ever had! They served it on the side instead of on the sandwich, which turned out to be perfect because we dunked every bite. It was so fresh, full of dill flavor, and absolutely delicious. The Bánh Mì had an amazing smoky flavor, and they even served it with a side of au jus for dipping, which was fantastic. Every dipping sauce we tried deserved five stars--the honey mustard, the burger sauce, and that incredible tartar sauce. What really sets this place apart is the kids' play area. It's huge and thoughtfully designed with video games, Pac-Man, a train table, and plenty of space for kids to play. It kept our kids happily entertained so we could actually relax and enjoy our meal, which is rare! If you're in the Lake Stevens area, this place is definitely worth a visit. Great food, amazing sauces, and one of the best family-friendly dining experiences we've had. We will absolutely be back!

I called the Buzz Inn a few days before and gave them a "heads up" that we'd be there - although they don't take reservations. When we got there at 10:00 a.m., they had a table completely set up for us! After everyone got there we ordered our food and it was out so fast it was literally amazing. We were all asking "how'd they do that?" To top it off, breakfast was excellent. Is it the Four Seasons? No. Do you want a solid breakfast fast for a great price? This is the right place for it. Thanks for making our event go off perfectly!

This place has gone downhill. Food is not as good or as plentiful as it once was (read small…read moreportions). Now days they really try to nickel and dime you for everything little thing and they are sneaky about it too. For instance, when ordering a burger and fries they enthusiastically ask you if you would like anything to dip the fries in; what they don't tell you is they are going to charge you extra for that. That's right, an extra charge for mayo. This is unacceptable and is not the norm for most other restaurants. But this sneaky charge is their daily practice. I have personally seen this many times and now only use the ketchup on the table. At no point do they disclose the extra charge but yet they ask every time if you want dipping sauce which is just dishonest and certainly not hospitable for a business in the hospitality industry. On my last and final visit to this Buzz Inn my guest did ask for mayo for their fries and they even charged us for the mayo, but it never made it to the table. We assumed since it did not show up, we would not be charged but they did in fact charge for mayo that never arrived. They also charge a transaction fee if you use a credit card which is just not acceptable in todays day and age. Should we also pay an electric fee, or maybe a garbage fee, or dish fee? Or maybe perhaps the owner should pay their own bills?? I look forward to the new restaurant that will take over this space when this Buzz Inn location closes in 2027 as they don't get along with their landlords either. The ladies that work at this location are just downright mean to their customers. There is definitely a us (staff) versus them (guest) mentality. I have overheard the staff speak very negatively to and about the guest and other coworkers. After my last trip here, I am done and will not be back, after many, many years of going here.

Food was pretty good - just selected a few of their appetizers; my favorite was the fried dumplings! Spam Masubi was just ok, kinda dry - I'm used to there being a bit of eel sauce beyond just the spam glaze, but I'd try it again! The Mac salad could have used some salt and pepper. Note: they did offer me S&P, so I could have spruced it up myself & I understand wanting to cater to majority tastes - nonetheless I found it to be a bit bland. Multiple Tv screens. Looks like a good place to catch a game with friends. Overall, will be back!

I love how they have all day specials so take a look at the chalk board hung up at the bar when you come visit. Our server Makalya was fantastic- she brought such good vibes and was absolutely wonderful! Hope to come back and try more items on the menu.

Cons: they are pretty new and probably still have some kinks that will work themselves out after awhile but not any glaring cons in my opinion. I have only got food once though. There might be some food options that are a swing and a miss but I will have to see as time goes on. Overall, I like this place and will be back again. Hawks Peak has outdoor seating with a beautiful view. Large parties can easily be accommodated. For those who like to sit at the bar, there are several seats available there as well. There are TVs throughout. Happy Hour is offered daily from 2pm-6pm. Late night happy hour is offered Sunday-Thursday from 9pm-close. Hawks Peak menu offers soup, salad, pizza, burgers and a couple of entrees. Breakfast is served all day long. Hawks Peak offers a full bar as well. Drinks can be taken into the casino from Hawks Peak too. For dinner my wife had a Manny's for $6. I had a 6oz Chardonnay for $10. My wife ordered a cup of Clam Chowder for $4: New England style chowder with bacon, potatoes, celery, onions, and herbs. Served with oyster crackers. We shared the Classic Burger for $21 +$1 upcharge for cheese: lettuce, tomato, red onion, pickles, Dijonnaise and cheddar cheese. We chose Tots as our side. Breakfast the next morning my wife had a double Screwdriver for $12 and I had a Mimosa for $7 while deciding on our meal choice. We shared the Denver Omelet for $13: ham, Swiss cheese and green pepper. We declined the hashbrowns and toast and subbed a 6oz grilled chicken breast instead for $8 upcharge. I personally am not a fan of Hawks Peak. Service is always slow and disjointed. Tabs are always difficult to split properly. Food is average. Since our friends always choose Hawks Peak, I predict I will have to endure many more visits in the future.
