I used to frequent this place but after dialing back on going out I haven't been here as often. However, this is definitely my favorite bar in Snohomish county. It's just the right vibe, the drinks are strong, and the bartenders are attentive and nice. My grandma also likes this bar and she doesn't drink but she likes to go here for her birthday which typically happens to be on Super Bowl Sunday. They never complain about her coming in early to "set up" a table and they never make her feel weird which I really appreciate because I mean she brings like board games and stuff to a bar and doesn't drink so it is a bit odd but glad the staff make her feel welcome. Even on Super Bowl Sunday, the staff checks on us like every 10 minutes, no matter how busy it is. They don't pressure you to get a drink or food but they do offer which is also something I very much appreciate. Aside from all of this, I once had someone tell me this place has the best clam chowder and I was thinking "......? Ew?? Clam chowder from a bar??" Well I still have never tried the chowder, but I can tell you the Ruben is fire and you should definitely get one. I like mine dipped in au jus. Poor ownership practices and terribly understaffed I called 24 hours in advance asking if they would be showing the Stanley Cup final game #4 WITH SOUND. A guy who said he was both owner and manager. I therefore made plans with others to attend the next night. When I got there I was told that (per the owner on-site at the time) they would NOT put sound on "because it is our policy is to not put on sound when there's a local game on". [[HIGHLIGHT]]As it turned out there was a M's game playing at the same time. BUT the real irony of the situation? They did not put sound on for the M's game either, instead stuck with the annoying blaring music![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Don't you just love it when someone quotes "policy" to you? "We don't think or reason, we just made a random rule that we shall now follow with absolute obedience!". And instead of catering to *some* of our customers desires by putting sound on for one of the games, we've instead instituted a policy to cater to NONE of our customers. It's with great regret that I am retracting my previous positive review of Just Chill Pub & Grill! While we enjoyed the pool and the food, the service has become subpar and non-existent! As regular patrons of the venue for several years, the last time we visited (about 1 month ago), all of the servers completely ignored us!!! They all know us by name and often have our favorite drinks ready for us! One of the waitresses walked by us 3 times and never even looked our way! We left after one game of pool and went to JT's up the street. While there, we saw another couple who had also left JCP&G for the exact reason!!!! What is wrong with these servers?!!! My wife and I dropped into Just Chill on a whim. We had no idea this place even existed. Free parking can be found in the parking lot. Discover is an accepted form of payment. Our our visit, Just Chill was celebrating their 1-year anniversary with a special food and drink menu. Each patron was also given a free ticket to participate in timed prize drawings. Just Chill is family friendly for those who have minors. Just Chill offers a full bar, a decent selection of draft beer, pull tabs, darts, pool tables and TV's. We ate off the anniversary menu; however, the menu listed a variety of food items that are sure to please everyone. Breakfast is served from 9am-12pm. My wife and I slurped a few Manny's and Bodhi's for $4 each off the anniversary menu. My wife ordered the Cheeseburger Basket for $8 off the anniversary menu and I ordered the Classic BLT for $7. Both meals were standard bar grub. The staff were friendly and energetic. The owner was welcoming and proud of his establishment. I look forward to returning in the future to try a few menu items. We actually love (*have loved*) this place for a long time now--been going for years! [[HIGHLIGHT]]We live close and it's a super casual place that was nice to pop in with our kids, especially on wing night.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It definitely has a bar vibe, but it's advertised as family friendly on Google and says kids are welcome until 9 pm (it has a rubber ducky crane machine, for crying out loud).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We've gone many times without any problems. Loved the food. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Loved that the kids were entertained with a few quarters.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff has been nice with just the right amount of checking-in and leaving you be. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The music is--or used to be--a good mix of genres and decades.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]But something has changed recently. The last number of times have been different. Whether we come in at 5 or 7, the music is blasting and it is full of expletives and sexually explicit content.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Given that we were without kids and we came on random days/times, we didn't really think too much of it. There is a jukebox style app/machine, so perhaps it was just songs being requested...? Tonight, we arrived at 6:40 and by the time our food came, the Cardi-B song "WAP" was playing. We got our 9 and 11 year-olds attention and tried to keep them distracted, hoping the next song wouldn't be quite so adult. But one highly inappropriate song after another came on. I get that it's a pub, but we've been visiting about once a month or so, for years now without experiencing what we have in the last number of months. Provide kid-enticing games and have an all ages section AND maybe don't allow X-rated material prior to, like, 8pm...or make it clear that this isn't a kid-friendly joint.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Really disappointed. We've loved Just Chill, but we will be finding a new casual family spot and maybe save this place for the occasional adult-only outing. I'd love to give a better review. The food is good, the staff are super friendly. The ownership cripples the guest experience by grossly understaffing the front of house staff. 2 servers trying to handle 60-100 patrons is just setting them up to fail. They try hard, almost jogging between tables non stop but get distracted because tables start going to the bar to get service. There is no bartender, so orders don't get put in, or mistakes are made. Again. This is an ownership issue. If the owners give a shit, they can find me at cactus moon on taco Tuesdays. By no means perfect but orders are taken and food comes out hot in a timely manner, even when it's a bit busy. I'd say they sell our table an extra round of drinks for the same seat time. Just hate making the servers feel bad when it's the owners fault. Don't know why they stay. read more

I've been here multiple times and everytime there is no downside! This was my last visit. I'm a dart player and a pool player, they got all of the above with food beverages space and a plethora of drinks to choose from. Came here once for steak night. Was excellent! Then saw they had a Prime Rib Night on Saturdays. Couldn't wait ! Brought my wife. I love me some good Prime. Was there about 6pm so plenty early for a good red medium rare 12oz slab. NOPE. Was small and horrible. Skinnier then a burger patty at fast food. See picture. Sent them both back. Then waitress returned with two more a little better pieces but still way under 12oz and still pretty medium. She lectured us that we should be there about 3pm for medium rare. Huh ? Salad a 10. Potato a 10. Asparagus cold (yuck) and not well trimmed. Prime rib, LAUGHABLE. Small and overcooked. Horseradish sauce straight and too hot to consume. Had to get up and ask for a side of sour cream to add to it and make the correct sauce myself. Not worth $25 each. Owner/manager look at my picture - and that was the replacement cut !!! Then Google 12oz. Prime Rib and then click images and compare thickness and color. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Side note: turn down the lights, too bright![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I do not suggest buying the prime here. We (group of 3) stopped in for dinner and pool a couple weeks ago. Lets start with the good. The food here is FANTASTIC. I split a Caesar wrap and it was HUGE and great to share and the fries were killer. My friend got the club sandwich and that thing was stacked. Cant say enough how good the bar dinner was. Surprised honestly. Being local now we were looking forward to being regulars here to play pool and spend some money and eat.. .. but then the "regulars" showed up and wow they are skeee-tchy!!! (We kinda expected this due to hwy 99, but everyone seemed fine until this group showed.) Anyways... By the time we were done eating, we went over and picked a bar table near a table that had zero balls on felt, no quarters on felt, nothing but cues on the table - in other bars this would be an open table. We walked up and I even looked into the quarter push to make sure they didn't preload. Nothing. So I went to put some quarters in and I got chewed out by some tall dude. Keep in mind I'm 5'4. My boyfriend and his brother tried to be reasonable and just let them know we wanted a game or two. They were looking for a fight. While I am way too grown for that type of behavior, it seemed like it was normal here. Staff either didnt notice or don't get paid enough to care. Security? Might want to look into that. Layout wise, the restaurant side of this business is way too large. It felt lop sided if that made sense? It was just about empty with a broken pool table. They should move the partitions over and create more bar seating space for those who want a bar experience to beable to separate from other bar baffoons. We all wanted to love this place - like I said the food is SO good; but due to the patrons we won't be coming back in the evenings as getting into a fight over a pool game isn't worth it. First impression? Pretty decent and pretty clean. Nice set-up but kind of crowded because of the furnishings too close together. However, I think the service is fast and accurate. I didn't get to try the food because as soon as I got here, my friends from work wanted to hit the shots right away. Had what is called the training wheels. I said whatever but it turned out to be very smooth and the lime hit the spot. All in all, I had fun herewith my friends from work. We had a lot of laughter and, again another great memory in my book. I recommend this place for a small get-together with family and friends. I was told that foods are also decent and big portions. So this place is typically cool to hang out. Breakfast is good and at a decent price. However, they set their clocks ahead by 15 mins. They advertise breakfast from 9am-12pm. I arrived a 11:47 and they refused to serve me breakfast because "they go off their own bar time" is what I'm being told. So they live in their own world and say to hell with actual time. Their menu should state that times are subject to change. What's even worse is that they could care less what anyone thinks as the older blonde bartender working today is more concerned about smoking cigarettes out front than she is about service.
