Surprisingly it is very tuff to find a recycling center. My husband and I visited THREE different "recycling centers" before this one and all of them were either not there or a random dumpster. But when we finally got there it was pretty simple and they help you with any questions you may have. We got a good deal for all of our recyclables and glad we actually found a place that is very welcoming. Plus I appreciate the murals very much very pretty and goes with the place quite well!! read more

If you live in California you probably already realized every time you buy any sort of drink in a can, plastic bottle, or glass you get charged extra for CRV so why not come here and get your money back! This recycling center is located right behind the Commercial trolley station and they do a great job getting you in and out with your recyclables. Its a pretty simple concept where all you have to do is save your recyclables and bring them in and sort out the glass, plastic, and cans in one of the blue bins they provide. The line was long with customers waiting to get there bins weighed but the staff does a excellent job with weighing them. Once your bins are weighed all you have to do is stand off to the side while they print out a receipt where you sign and then they hand over your cash you earned. They provide a hand washing station on site and have parking as well. Overall Time Recycling Center is a great spot for you to do your recyclables and get back that money you paid for your CRV and plus its just great to help out our beautiful planet! read more

This was my first time recycling cans and plastic bottles at this location and I must say it has been the best recycling experience I've had ever. The place was not overly crowded and the employees were friendly and helpful. It was easy and quick and we got paid more than we were expecting (at least from our experience with other places) so I'm a happy camper. I definitely recommend time recycling center. They do a lot for the community and their customer service is a high-quality. They were really friendly and there prices are really good. The owner Bobby is a class act of a man, very polite and caring for his customers. This location is not open during the posted days/hours, but is not officially closed. Be sure to call ahead to see if they are open before driving over. In my experience the staff is very friendly, considerate and helpful. I just wish they posted their actual hours of operation, or improved signage communicating which days they provide this service. read more

Very happy this recycling center is open on Sundays. Other Yelpers said it might be closed on Sunday. I tried to call before driving over but just got a busy signal. Like me, you'll just have to drive over & find out! For a recycling center, this place seems very clean. Parking lot inside is small, but had open spots available when I arrived at 1:30 pm Sunday. Ample plastic bins for sorting aluminum cans & plastic bottles. Received less money than Miramar landfill recycling, but still happy this place was open today! It was nice to be able to wash my hands at their sink too. read more

This week was my first time going to Time Recycling. I will never go to another recycling center again. Time stands out from all of the rest. It stays open until 6PM, is easy to find (large signs), has ample parking and sufficient staff to help you and get you out of there FAST! it is clean, and the owner, Mr. Bobby, and his employees were professional and friendly. There isn't much parking inside but we just parked along the side of the road, you grab a trash bin and divide the different materials you have so one for plastic and one for glass and then they give u cash right then. read more

We save all our recyclables and bring them to Time about once every two months, then use the money for a Mexican feast at Tacos el Paisa down the street. The owner always greets us with a smile and handshake. We drive out of our way just to come here because of the owner. The location caters mostly to the local homeless population and the area is a little grimy but we've never had a problem in all the time we've been coming here. read more

There fast and there polite. No problem going there my first time. People were helpful in throwing the procedure out and yelling at me if I wasn't focused on getting through without a hitch. Most of the time this business is open during posted hours. Today it closed early, impacting many people who need to recycle their items in order to survive. One woman was literally crying because she needed to take care of this today. I will try again tomorrow, but this has put me behind on my schedule by several hours. I usually check the websites before I do certain types of errands. Tomorrow I will call before I waste so much time. On the positive side, when open this center is quick, relatively clean, and the staff are mostly courteous. read more

I've just been there for the second time and met with grief from the employees about getting paid full CRV value for a 50 count. The first time a year ago they tried to push me out of line and make me wait longer to be served because they didn't want to count my bottles. after trying to inform them of the rules allowing me to be paid that way, and their insistence that they wouldn't, I left without getting my bottles redeemed and told them I would be filing a complaint with the recycling board. I followed through on that and the board sent a rep out and informed them of the rules. Today I went there again and was told again they only buy by weight. Once again I tried to inform them of the rules, and after some useless arguing, they paid me for the count just to get rid of me. I told them I will be filing ANOTHER complaint against them, which I have just started. And I will be back with another 50 count and a printout of the rules in hand until they start complying. read more

Do not go here. The service is horrible. They don't sort cans from plastics from glass. Everything gets dumped into the same scale. And they rip you off! I brought one large garbage bag full of plastic water jugs, one 13 gal bag full of aluminum cans, and two 13 gal bags full of plastic water jugs and all I got for it all was $9. Other recycling place I've been (can't remember name) sorts everything and each different item has a different redeem value and gives a receipt to show for it. This place nothing...$9 bucks and move along!!! Avoid!!! read more

pleasant trip to this recycle station. not in best neighborhood but is clean and run pretty efficiently which is important to me because I usually have a large amount to turn in. im elderly so I need help and they were very nice to do it. pay is about same as other recycle place I go to. will come back for sure.i am guy Merrill and this place was recommended to me by my brother alver Merrill and im glad he did !! read more
