I brought my girlfriend here to treat her for her birthday. We stumbled upon this place because it was new and close to her parent's place. We did a walk-in and the service provided by Joyce was incredible. She made my girlfriend and l feel very welcomed. They carry luxury/designer brands (Chanel, YSL, Dior, and Armani) which my GF says she never sees at other nail salons so that's definitely a plus and extremely different. She got CND shellac gel nails for her manicure and Dior for her pedicure. She absolutely loves her nails and has not stopped raving about how amazing it looks. Joyce's work is top notch. She took her time to perfect everything and ensured the quality is met. She never rushed my GF's nails and made her feel relaxed. You obviously get what you pay for and we will definitely come back when we're around the area. The overall atmosphere of this nail salon is extremely clean and smells wonderful. I absolutely love this place!!! It's one owner, one manicurist place. Not like those assembly line places where you don't get individual and personalized service. Joy is amazing!!! She's so gentle, you don't even know she doing anything. It might be a little more $$ but, soooo worth it. I found her on my hunt for new nail salon; tried her and couple others. I'll never stray. Other places have cut me when working on my cuticles. I've even gotten fungal infections on toes before. NOT HERE! Joy uses only the best organic natural nontoxic products. She doesn't do acrylics which always makes the salons smell. Her place is super clean. You get tea or water refreshment while you're getting service done. My mom and I came here for the first time today and we LOVED it. Joyce is the owner and only one who works in the shop, but her work is amazing. She keeps her shop so clean with all natural products. She makes sure that your nails are absolutely perfect and that your cuticles are 100% before she starts to paint your nails. She uses really nice and relaxing essential oils for your massage during pedicure which was really relaxing! First time customers get 20% off and I think that's a good way to get people in there. What a fantastic experience. Joyce was wonderful and welcoming. She uses natural and non toxic everything. No acetone! I got a spa pedi with gel polish. It took a while to get the old gel off because the remover was not acetone, but only because of the brand of gel I had from the previous place. She was so patient. And her massage chairs are legit! Today, I had my first appointment for a manicure and pedicure with Joyce at Time to Shine Nails. I had read the reviews of her shop and service before I booked my appointment in order to make sure it would be diabetic friendly--i.e. completely sanitary. This shop was beyond my expectations. Joyce uses all natural and non-toxic products. The shop is spotlessly clean and she uses packaged tools. Joyce was eager to take my health concerns into consideration and worked with me throughout my appointment to make sure she was meeting my needs. The salon was a little challenging to find at first, but so worth it and very conveniently located for Folsom and Granite Bay residents since it is right on Folsom Auburn Rd.
