I WISH I CHECKED THE REVIEWS BEFORE THE PURCHASE I'm sharing an update regarding my experience with Timeless Motorcars. I purchased a vehicle on March 26th, 2025, and picked it up on March 29th, 2025. Less than three weeks later on April 15th,2025 the car broke down on the highway at 1 AM. I had it towed and later took it to a certified Audi mechanic, where I was informed the vehicle had several serious issues that were not disclosed prior to the sale. I filed a formal complaint with the Virginia Motor Vehicle Dealer Board (MVDB). In response, the dealership provided a statement that contains several inaccuracies, including the timing of when I discovered the issues and falsely suggesting that I misunderstood the terms of the sale. After a thorough investigation, the MVDB has provided me with documentation and guidance to proceed with legal action. This experience has been incredibly frustrating and costly, and I encourage anyone purchasing a vehicle from this dealership to exercise extreme caution. Set an appointment to view and purchase a vehicle. Drove an hour an a half the day of only to be told that it was sold already once I got there. They didn't even know who spoke to me and scheduled the appointment. No communication at all and rude in person. Take your business elsewhere. read more

First and foremost, I commend Shawn for working diligently to help me secure a car loan for a silver 2003 Porsche Boxster I wanted to purchase (see pictures below). Admittedly, my credit score was abysmal, but Shawn worked magic to make it happen and find a lender for me. Again, MAJOR credit to Shawn for working hard to secure me a car loan because, in that regard, he was amazing! Unfortunately, though, that's where the accolades end. NEVER in my 62 years on this planet have I EVER been yelled at by a car salesman! Why did Shawn yell at me, forcing me to hang up on him? As mentioned above, he worked hard to secure a car loan for me. He really worked his tail off to make that happen. So, I suspect he ended up yelling at me because he recognized that he worked hard to make the deal happen, but it eventually fell through. Why did it fall through? Well, Shawn did not think I was serious about buying the car because there were things I told him I would not do, one of which was I would not sign a Privacy Notice that would have allowed them to share my PERSONAL information with 3rd party entities, some of which that had NOTHING to do with automobiles! Secondly, he was furious at me because I would not relent on having him answer ONE key question: "Why does the Carfax say the Boxster has not been in any accidents, BUT the stack of forms you sent me to sign has not one but TWO letters/forms (see attached) that CLEARLY reference the car being in an accident?" WHY would Shawn get upset with me about asking that basic question before dropping over $20K on a car? Are you kidding me? But, don't take my word for it, here is EXACTLY what part of the letter says "The dealership has informed you that this vehicle was involved in a previous accident in which it sustained structure/unibody damage. This damage was disclosed by the auction and will be reported to the Carfax..." (see letters below) Now, you tell me. Was I wrong for asking such a simple question? Remember what I said earlier, a reference to the car having been in an accident was made TWICE in TWO different documents! So, any reasonable person would ask questions, but Shawn was upset with me because I pressed him on that, and I would not let him get away with telling me nonsense like "That is a standard form we do for all our cars." Come'on, Shawn, STOP IT! It was in TWO different documents! Did he REALLY think I was that gullible? Apparently so, but it didn't work. Instead of being HONEST and upfront with me, he turned the tables on me and yelled at me as he continued to switch the focus back to the list of things I told him I was uncomfortable with such as signing away my private information so they share it with other entities. Nope! I even told him, "Look, Shawn, I'm still willing to consider the deal but ONLY if you tell me the extent of the previous damage the documents refer to." He dug in and did not want to come clean. I continued, "If the damage was minor, I can deal with that. I just need to know exactly what the damage consisted of." Still, he ignored that and kept claiming the Carfax was clean. Well, at least there he didn't lie because the Carfax did say there were no previous accidents. However, Shawn messed up because one of the documents referred to a previous accident that had not yet been reported to Carfax. Ooops! Do you see a pattern here as with other reviews about Timeless Motors' staff not being honest? I had an external mechanic do an inspection, and the "red flags" IMMEDIATELY came up when I saw the mechanic's report saying "Appears that vehicle was in a minor accident and was repaired and painted." Also, part of the report noted "Body shop dust found in both front door handles" which CLEARLY indicated there was SOME type of work done on the car. Even still, I was interested in moving forward, but it was obvious that Shawn was apparently allergic to telling the truth, which is why he yelled at me, i.e., because I simply wanted to know why what he told me contradicted with HIS OWN documents and Carfax's. Shawn, all you had to do was tell the truth, but you chose pride over truth, which is why you didn't get my business; and NEVER will! There is no room to yell at customers because they simply want the truth about a car. Shawn, WHY didn't you just tell me the truth? In conclusion, I give Shawn a LOT of credit for finding me a lender even though my credit score was atrocious. If Shawn put that same level of energy he uses to find lenders into telling the truth, he'd be one helluva' salesman. Instead, I lost all respect for him and Timeless Motors. As my lawyer told me, "Caveat emptor", ESPECIALY with Shawn and Timeless Motors. Again, I give Shawn a LOT of credit for securing a lender, but he's shady! BEFORE you sign ANYTHING from them, you BETTER 1) get an independent car inspection, 2) READ the ton of documents to sign, 3) ASK questions, 4) DON'T YOU DARE GIVE THEM a $1,000 non-refundable deposit! On 11/01/2022 I put a deposit on an automobile. I was given a carfax that had no structural damage. I also asked in a text message to confirm no structural damage and Bilial the salesman said not structural damage they don't sell cars with structural damage. After I signed the paper work and the day before I left to inspect car and purchase if it was nice the carfax was updated to structural damage. I called timeless motorcars inc and told them about that they replied we don't know how that happen. I told them I don't want a structural damaged car. I asked for the deposit back. Bilial told me because I wrote a bad review they would not give me my money back unless I took the true review down. I disputed the charge with my credit card. Someone at the dealership signed my name to two paper that said non refundable deposit and provided it to the credit card company on the dispute. It was not even close to my signature. This is forgery. The car was purchased at an auction and I do know that auctions do announce structural damage. I contacted the better business bureau and Time less Motor Car said they were going to refund the money. They lied again and did not refund the money. So dishonest the cars look pretty good but looks like most of them really are damaged goods. They are good a hiding the carfax update until they say its to late to back out. read more

Be cautious when you come here and definitely get the car inspected before paying anything. One positive note was Harry's satellite location in Fredericksburg. He was easy to work with and very transparent about the vehicle. My disappointment began when I came to the main location here. I got an inspection before coming, and the shop pointed out a few problem areas on the car. The shop suggested I either get the dealership to fix them or come down on price. I mentioned this at the dealership here, but they refused to budge. I was expecting that they would at least offer to fix some of these issues or be willing to come down a little on price, but they did not negotiate. Due to unusual circumstances, I had paid a deposit before coming down. The manager was almost gloating when he told me that I should have asked about all these specifics (that I would have had no way of knowing) before I signed a payment form. Fortunately for me, I hadn't actually signed a payment form and they were forced to refund my deposit. They will definitely just sell the car as-is to someone else who won't get it inspected. A bunch of liars and are very sketchy/shady, vehicles have problems that are hidden and they tell you one thing on the phone just to get you there then do another. Add in sketchy fees to bring there total price up more. Do not recommend no matter the deal you think your getting. read more

Do not do business here unless you want to find out later that the car you bought and asked for car fax and was told in text that there is absolutely not structural damage does in fact have structural damage. went into to Timeless Motorcars last week after finding a Toyota Highlander through the USAA car buying service. I paid for the Carfax that morning (which came back completely clean), test drove the car and decided to purchase it. I went through all the paperwork and traded in my RAV4. As I'm signing one of the last few pages of paperwork, the salesman casually mentions "oh there might be some water damage but it's likely from the windows being left open in a storm." I have done that before, so I understood but it put a bad feeling in my gut. Throughout our conversation at the dealership, it came up that I'm a single mom, a disabled veteran, and using this car to travel with my son across the country with my son who is immunocompromised and not able to attend school this year. They knew all about my situation and still took advantage of me. They also let some random dude that walked in test drive the car even after I started the paperwork to buy it. I left the dealership with the car. Within 5 minutes of driving, I open the cig lighter to plug in my phone... it was completely rusted out. I called them immediately and they told me to bring it back. I got back and decided to inspect a little more. There was no visible rust under the car (I assume they replaced what would have been rusted)... but every single seatbelt, latch, dashboard component... everything was completely rusted. I walked back in and he immediately said "lets just give you your car back we don't want any problems." It turns out, the car had been completely flooded. I signed the paperwork, got my car back. I realized later that the paperwork I signed to get my car back says that I won't leave a bad review, but you can't stop free speech so I welcome you to take me to court. They had IMMEDIATELY processed the request to get the money from my bank and I had to wait an entire week for them to send the money back to my bank, after calling every single day to follow up. While I was on the line for $23k for a car that I did not have in my possession. There are enough bad and shady people in the world. Don't be one of them. read more
