Called them for an estimate on building a deck over our little concrete patio area. The price was very reasonable and they were able to begin the following week. The workers were very careful with our existing plants and trees. The new cedar deck and cover made a completely new outside relaxing place for us to enjoy. They will give you the run around when you try and call for any type of warranty work or general maintenance and repair of there own work. Requested concrete driveway and back patio extension. A 9 x 12 screened in porch around the existing back concrete patio and a 9 x 12 arbor over the back patio extension. Paid $23,000.00. The sales person was so good that we did not get any additional estimates (our mistake). He promised us excellent communication, excellent work, 5-year warranty. I wish I could write an excellent review but cannot. I hope this review will help others make a decision on which company to use. The person that did the concrete work ended up cutting our main water line and also destroying 2/3rds of the lines for our sprinkler system. He repaired the main water line. I watched the repair job and was very concerned as one end of the repair only overlapped about 1/8th inch with the main water line. I am concerned that over time it will not hold. In addition, the concrete contractor pulled the junction box for the main water line for the city out of the ground and when the concrete was poured the concrete hardened inside and under the box. We had to pay a sprinkler company for 2 days of work to replace the broken sprinkler lines, replace the sprinkler heads which the concrete contractor threw away and chisel the concrete out of the water main junction box and rebury it. In addition, the concrete contractor caused damage to our privacy fence gate entry with his Bobcat and tore up large parts of our yard. Timeless Sunsets did a partial repair job on the privacy fence and partially filled in the foot deep tire ruts with dirt. I had to purchase 10 bags of top soil, 8 bags of sand and grass seed to repair the damage to the yard. The sales person had also mismeasured the amount of concrete needed and charged us an additional $600 above what was in the signed contract. As far as the excellent communication I have seen the construction manager twice and the sales manager 3 times over a month and 10 days since the contract was signed. I was told our $23,000 job was a small job and they had to spend their time on their big jobs. Communication has been mainly by text msg which I have to initiate. The construction manager asked us not to include the sales person in any communications which I did not do as the sales person was the one who wrote the contracts and told us which services would be included. I have received 1 text msg which I did not initiate. The construction manager never contacted us, or visited the entire time the concrete construction was being completed and no one offered to pay for any of the damage to the sprinkler system or have the main waterline professionally repaired. The screened in porch and the arbor were completed rapidly, in a few days. The door initially was not hung properly on the screened in porch and would not open all the way. The contractor had to return to rehang the door which left about a 3/4-inch space under the door which would allow insects to enter. I asked aren't you going to add a threshold t keep the insects out? He said I am tired of driving back and forth if you want a threshold you will have to go and buy one right now and he would install. I drove round trip about 40 minutes of driving to Home Depot and purchased a threshold with the help of an associate. When I returned the contractor said it won't work and made one out of a 2 x 4. We have had some rain and the B board on the inside of the screened in porch is already warping. The construction manager and sales person came out and for the first time I was told that I would have to buy the stain and paint because that is their policy. I replied what if I buy the paint and stain and you just deduct that cost from the remaining bill and they said no. This was 1 month after the contract was signed and I was told they would pay for the stain and paint and the sales person also wrote on the contract "Stain is included for the arbor" and "Paint for the exterior only" which referenced the screen in porch and I would paint the inside. The owner refused to uphold what was written in the contract and at that point we said we would find someone else to complete the job (June 16,2025) since they would not uphold their contract and because of all the damage which had been done ...after already paying $23,000.00. We have remained civil and courteous throughout this process. The company does not uphold what their sales person says and writes in the contract. The construction manager does not inspect the subcontractors/employees work to make sure it is done properly. They do not pay for damage that is done to the property and any damage they might attempt to correct does not return to the original quality. Communication is poor with the customers and between their employees. The completed work is average, nothing special and not as good as expected from the sales spiel we received and is the only reason I gave them 2 stars instead of 1. I read some of the negative reviews on this company, and they are not characteristic of my experience AT ALL! I hate that happened to them but my experience was top-notched, and the company was highly professional with exemplary work. My husband and I learned of this company from a co-worker whose home we visited and noticed his gable roof and patio. He referred us to Timeless Sunsets. My husband call and the owner set a date for the engineer to come out and do an estimate. After that, a crew of three people went with the owner, looked around, chatted with my husband, and they started on a Wednesday, I believe, and that crew was impressive! They finished both massive projects in three days. Then the roofers came out and completed it in two days. Now mind you, we got a huge gable plus an extended roof over a porch. The owner worked with us every step of the way, and you only pay when the job is done. The time and quality of work are unmatched. I have lived in many homes over the years, worldwide due to military moves, and Sunset made our forever home the nicest. My review here is more toward customer service coming from a customer that was very happy with the deck Timeless Sunsets built for me a couple of years ago. The deck itself turned out very nice but two years later I am having an issue with a rail built that is has begun wobbling and appears it may fall apart and will soon be dangerous if not repaired. I've left several messages asking if someone could come out and repair the railing (screws are coming out of the wood so the railing is no longer stable). I didn't expect anyone to come out for free and I was willing to pay for the rail to be repaired but I have yet to get a return phone call almost 4 weeks later. I've left 3-4 messages asking if I could text photos so I am posting the photos here. It doesn't really seem to be that big of a job to repair but I fear someone will get hurt if I do not get it repaired asap now. I had planned on using Timeless Sunsets to add on a pergola we had talked about adding a couple of years down the road but I will need to go with another company that wants to keep its customers. read more

My deck project...actually began as a patio project, and got converted to a deck after talking to Scott from Timeless Sunsets. That said, this review is about their service and work performed related to the deck itself: Product: it's a well-built, solid deck, It looks nice (see attached photos), and I'm certainly happy with the job they did. (There were some minor things they could have done better, like missing a screw on one of the boards [I added my own to tighten it], slight improvements on some of the features [the bar had a board that was raised out and had to have another screw added to make it level], very slight improvements to staining [too much stain in the middle], but these are, at the end of the day, all minor things.) On the product itself, I'd rate them 4.9/5. Pricing: they're a bit on the higher side, but fair. Certainly do your due diligence and shop around, but they're worth considering. We had two additions we were considering to the deck, one of which was quoted reasonably, the other which was quoted high and we chose not to proceed with. On this I'd rate them about a 3.75/5. Communication: They were a bit weak here. I got quoted in mid-June, made a decision within a couple days, got an estimated completion time of a couple weeks, heard nothing from them for a while, and eventually they started the work just over a month later, after I reached out to them trying to get some sort of reliable ETA. We had similar happen with the staining, where I was told it'd be a couple days to get a date for staining, and got an answer after I reached out a couple weeks later. Ouch here, 2.5/5. Timeliness: Bit on the slow end here for starting, but not terrible once they actually started the work. (They completed building the deck within a couple days after starting, and staining was done within a day when they did it.) Overall I'd rate them a 3/5 here. Across everything, this gives them roughly a 3.5 performance on my job. It's decent, slightly better than average, and worth considering. read more

I unequivocally recommend Timeless Sunsets for deck and arbor work. We worked with Doug first to design and plan the deck. Doug was patient and thorough spending a full afternoon measuring and getting feedback on the proposed design. Once we agreed on the proposed deck plan, Doug was able to bring several Timber tech and Trex samples to choose from. Warning: many styles are on back order due to supply chain issues, not Timeless Sunset's fault at all. The demo phase started as promised 2 weeks after singing the contract. Adrian and Brent were our construction crew, both were communicative and professional. Initially the crew was trying to keep the original frame to help save on costs, but after removing the old deck it was clear that it needed to be replaced. Of course we were not thrilled that we had to replace the frame, but The team adjusted quickly and did a great job. Our deck was over 1000 square feet, quite an investment but we could not be happier with the results. In a world where you hear about contractors, not completing work or delivering substandard work, I highly recommend Timeless Sunset as a trusted partner for all your deck and patio needs. read more

VERY poor workmanship and absolutely no response to our calls on trying to fix their issues. We have water leaking inside our walls due to the very substandard workmanship they performed in installing our awnings. Not level, loose joints, did not install flashing or caulk on wall plates. This so called owner has been blowing us off since July on these issues and when I reached him this morning he hung up on me because I guess I wasn't politically correct with him as I was a bit upset about this STILL not being remedied after 5 months! We are in the middle of a deck replacement and at this time, I would not recommend Timeless Sunsets because of their lack of a plan or regard for what the customer needs. They tore the deck off of our house on a Monday. Our back door cannot be used while there is not a deck because of the height of our foundation. The first communication I received from the owner of the company said that the lumber would be delivered on that same Monday. I was then told that McCoys Lumber, who Timeless chose to use, could not deliver until Wednesday. On Wednesday, I had to call to be told the lumber had been delayed until Thursday morning and work would then begin to rebuild. It is now Thursday, I received a call to tell me that they will begin rebuilding my deck (access to our backyard) on Friday afternoon. I understand that the lumber delivery was delayed. Why would you take a deck off of a house if you don't know when you can rebuild it? Secondly, there is not a crew working on our house. It is one man. He is very good at what he is doing, but really? This only makes it take longer, doesn't it? The picture below shows the state our house has been left in. We have 5 dogs and 3 grandchildren. The design and construction team overcame each challenge and built us a deck that will last for a lifetime in just two weeks! The whole process was great from beginning to end. The builders worked tirelessly in the August heat to give us a deck that we are extremely proud of and it has changed the character of our lake house for the better. This was a whole deck and side stairs remodel and pergola construction. The whole project, from start to finish, was a great experience! Mr. Antuna showed great enthusiasm and had many ideas when he first met us which was reflected in the design of the remodel. We were very pleased with the plans he designed. This enthusiasm was carried through all areas of the project. They started demo while we were out of the continental U.S. and kept us informed of progress and sent pictures. All the carpenters and the hired electrician were professional, courteous, and cleaned up every day at the end of the day. Jorge was a workhorse! He showed up early, took a short break (on-site) for lunch, and worked until dark every day they could, working around the unusually wet weather we had. The project took a little longer through no fault of their own due to weather issues and the deck railing manufacturer shipping damaged railing (which they refused to install or try to fix on site.)
