Unethical business......I recently went through VRBO to find and reserve a rental. Was sent a reply stating that 'they are updating their prices' and the LISTED price was not available, therefore my reservation was cancelled. Then, received a text stating that they wanted to chat with me. Was contacted by Dustin who wanted to work with me outside of the VRBO system to save me money.....I found this a bit strange and unethical, but listened to what he had to say. Although he couldn't honor the listed price of $4,500, he was able to work out a deal for $7,100.....yea, right!!!! After explaining that I will think about it, he contacted me stating that somebody else rented that unit (it was about 60 minutes later), but he has a similar in another property for the same amount.....told him I was not interested... Today, that same unit, is back on VRBO for the same low price.....I get the feeling that Dustin is purposely listing properties at an incorrect price to lure customers in. Then, he attempts to work with the customer, outside the VRBO system, to eliminate their listing fees.... I have already contacted VRBO to report this type of business practice!!! read more

Timeshare Broker Associates is the one broker that Wyndham recommends for selling Worldmark credits. Communication was outstanding, whenever we had a question, and we got a recommended sale price that we knew was totally reasonable after having researched comparable sales. No upfront fees were charged to us as Seller. We signed a listing agreement for an agreed upon sale price. They found a buyer, and although nothing was guaranteed, their estimate of finding a buyer and estimated closing time was spot on. My mother's maintenance fees were stopped as soon as the transfer was complete, and she got a check by priority mail. This was a virtually no-stress way of dealing with this sale. There were some emotions involved in letting go of the timeshare due to family memories and appreciation for those times at Worldmark facilities, but considering the increasing monthly maintenance fees and difficulty in managing credits with an extended family in the future, it was a relief to finally let it go. Jason Harrison helped me sell my Mom's WorldMark Timeshare. I explained that my Dad had passed away in May of 2018 and the maintenance fees of $436.23 per month were draining my Mom's savings. After my Dad passed away, all my Mom had was his Social Security, because his Military retirement and DOD retirement pay went away. He did a fantastic job, even though this world wide pandemic was going on through the last part of this transaction. I contacted Jason on January 27th and received my check in the mail on March 27th. Do not use this company (I think they are now owned by Fidelity Real Estate Agency, LLC). I purchased a Marriott timeshare through this company. According to my contract, they charged 100% of the $17,000 sales price to commission and the net to seller was $0. They told me, the Buyer, that I would have use of my points in January 2024. My contract came back and says "Dec" under anniversary date. I inquired and I was told that meant Dec. 31, so my points were available on Jan. 1. After finally closing and holding my money, I found out the points are not available until Nov. 1, 2024 (anniversary date is actually Oct.). So they reached out to me and sold me something completely different than they advertised. I am having to pay a lawyer to sue them and the closing agent for their errors. You need to choose a reputable company and do NOT let them recommend the title agent. I tried to switch title agents and they told me not to. read more

Carmen at Timeshare broker did what he said he would do. I had 68,000 credits at Worldmark and was needing to sell them or just give them back. I called worldmark and they refereed me to Timeshare brokers. Carmen listen to my need and in a few days recommend me to listed them with him and told how long it would take to sell them and gave me a price. After 25 years I was just willing to give it away but Carmen sold it in the timeframe he said and I received what he said he could get for it. To me that's is 5 star service.
