As a 1st time gun owner Timoney made the process seamless. FSC test is 25$. Transfer fee is 50$ plus CA tax. Went in looking for a Glock 19, which are super hard to find these days with the limited gun roster that CA has. He didn't have the 19, but had a 17 which is only slightly larger than the 19. So, rather than keep on the hunt for the 19, i went with the 17, at a great price. Timoney is very knowledgeable and has been in the gun industry for a long time. I just listed the manufactures that I like and are very reliable. Timoney's offers Law Enforcement discount and he can get any gun you would like in just days. I ordered a couple of LE GLOCKS and John (the owner) calls me within 3 days and tells me that the guns I ordered are in. WOW!!! Great customer service and very knowledgeable with his guns. His prices are better than most firearm's dealer and I will continue to go to Timoney's Firearms from now on. I consider myself as a first time buyer but been really wanting to buy one because of my experience in active duty service and friends and family from other states are really into guns. So I told John straight up that I am a first time buyer but I didnt feel intimidated at all. Showed me the gun that I've been eyeing and told me the requirements to get one. Shared some stories while in the process so it was not bad at all. Also I got the Glock with the Blue Label program so I got it for a really good price. I have purchased a few firearms here and always had great customer service, John really goes out of his way to make sure you have a good experience. My first purchase was a rifle and when it arrived the butt stock was damaged. John inspected the rifle as soon as it arrived, noticed the damage, called and had a new one shipped overnight. So what could have taken days to resolve, was handled in hours. I doubt your big box gun store would do the same which is why I continue to buy all my firearms here.
