I have done multiple transfers with Don and his wife over the years. Other shops in the county don't compare to the service and value you get with Don. I was once an FFL myself in California, and really feel for these people as I understand how they are constantly and continually harassed and abused by our State's communist regime. I swear Gusslers gets better every year. As a younger person I found gun stores and FFLS to have questionable customer service if any at all. Gussler's was a bit brash back in the Obama frenzy at the end of the assault weapons ban, but they've lightened up a ton and I genuinely appreciate them both. If you ask good questions you will get good answers. After spending 5 hours total to get a transfer done at turner's, Gusslers is far more efficient. It's a little strange walking up to a home to pickup your firearm but, it was a great transaction! I walked up and Mrs. Gussler was out front and she invited me into the garage and I sat down, gave her my paperwork and ID. Gussler's is always my go-to for transfers. Susan & Don are very kind people who do their community a great service by doing transfers for significantly lower fees than pretty much anywhere else. They have earned a customer for life. A note for first-timers: they literally operate out of their garage, so don't be surprised when the address is a residential house. Gussler is an kitchen counter FFL. I believe Don Gussler runs his business out of his garage, as the door opens and you walk into the front desk. Both times I did my FFL here, the transactions were quick, and the people working were knowledgeable. Gussler doesn't sell any actual firearms, but it's not a bad place to get transfers done. Pros: Prices for out of state transfers seem to be cheaper than any SD alternative. Staff is knowledgeable in all things that go boom. Cons: It's not a brick and mortar shop so don't expect brick and mortar shop hours. Would I use his service? For a PPT probably not since he isn't close to me, however out of state purchase I believe I would since his charges are definitely a lot less than others... read more

Just DROS two rifle with Gusslers with in the pass year. Never had problem and easy to deal with. It don't look like Turners or Big 5 but im a big supporter of small businesses. I bought both of my rifle and shot gun online from Atlantic Firearm and just got it shipped from Gusslers with no problem. Just a bit far from where I live but like I said I will support local small business anytime. My [deceased] father used to be in the antique business and I am attempting to sell a lot of stuff leftover in his house. I came across a miniature 10-gauge Winchester Signal Cannon, which I knew nothing about. I stopped by Gussler's to see if he could enlighten me about this cannon, because I listed it on eBay and was getting a lot of technical questions from potential bidders. I showed the cannon to Mr. Gussler and he spent quite a bit of time examining it and explained what certain parts were. He even looked on YouTube and found a video demonstrating an identical cannon. He answered all my questions, which helped me tremendously, and I updated my eBay listing accordingly. When I asked if I owed him anything, he said no, so all this information was free.
