I needed to have my deviated septum repaired, and they did a great job. I completely recommend their work. Very professional and personable!

Unreasonably long wait time, unprofessional and rude staff. Definitely would not recommend.

From beginning to end, Dr. Lee demonstrates confidence, professionalism and expertise beyond his years. I am very pleased with not only the outcome of my parotidectomy but the entire process along the way. I hope I never have to have another surgery but if I do I will turn to Dr. Lee first!

My father was diagnosed of stage IV throat cancer at City of Hope in June 2014. Due to insurance…read moreissue, he had to be transferred to his local doctors for intense radiation therapy and chemotherapy after their tumor board decided on his treatment plan. His health deteriorated but he was able to pull through it all and recovered. A year into his recovery, he tragically started smoking again. His throat cancer then returned and the tumor was growing much more rapidly this time around. His previous doctor referred us to an ENT physician at Riverside Community Hospital. My father and I met with this resident surgeon who conducted himself in the utmost incompetent and uncertain way and advised us that he and and other three resident surgeons would do laryngectomy on my father. My father couldn't even be convinced that the surgery would make him recover again. During this time, my father's shortness of breath worsened everyday to the point he felt suffocated. He was on so many medications and had to carry oxygen tanks with him all the time. It was emotionally painful and unbearable to be around and see him suffer. His conditions worsened and he started to be in and out of emergency room. Eventually ER doctor had to perform tracheostomy and my father stayed in ICU for a week. He was then sent to a rehab center for recovery. Upon his discharge, we managed to find a new ENT doctor, Dr. Carvalho in Hemet. Dr. Carvalho finally referred us to Dr. Steve Lee at Loma Linda University Medical Center for laryngectomy. I wrote all the above because I want people to know that my family has seen a lot of doctors ranging from top notch City of Hope dctors to resident surgeons in community hospital. If you manage to find Dr. Lee at the very beginning in your journey, you should know how truly blessed you are, and you should look no further. It took us a long and painful journey to get to him. In January of 2017, Dr. Lee and his team performed laryngectomy and throat reconstruction for my father. The surgery was a success and my father has since then been cancer free and he is able to speak with his voice prothesis. Everyone in the family including myself thought we were about to lose my dad sometime before his laryngectomy, but he has recovered and started a new life. All of this is because of the beyond exceptional care he has received from Dr. Lee and his team. Dr. Lee is warm and genuinely caring. He's calm, reassuring and pleasant to be around. His humble and down-to-earth character almost makes you feel like he is just a neighbor next door and not a God-like surgeon. After many years being under Dr. Lee's care, it made us realize Dr. Lee is truly one of a kind. He is a top rated surgeon who is driven by his calling and passion as a doctor and he is wholly committed on academic research and striving to provide the best patient care with his team.

When I called because I couldn't breathe through my right nostril, Jasmine at the front desk was kind, patient, and genuinely cared about helping me. She made me feel understood and prioritized and quickly found me an appointment that fit my schedule -- I was already impressed before I even walked in. When I arrived, everyone was professional, warm, and welcoming. The nurse who checked me in was patient and made the process easy and stress-free. But when I met Brandon, the PA, I knew I was in the best hands. He truly listened -- not just to my symptoms, but to my whole health story. During my visit, I experienced anxiety and high blood pressure, and he was incredible. He calmly opened the door for fresh air, a fan was brought in, and he waited with me until I was ready. His compassion and patience made me feel completely safe. Brandon and McKenna, who coordinated my care, explained everything so clearly and kindly. McKenna went above and beyond, keeping her promise to schedule my MRI and procedure quickly -- even getting me a same-day MRI I thought would take weeks. Within a couple of days, Brandon personally called to review my results and reassure me that everything was going to be okay. That call meant more than I can say -- he didn't just deliver results, he delivered peace of mind. Dr. Nguyen is truly gifted. He made sure I was comfortable, gave a gentle local anesthetic, shook my hand, and performed my procedure with such focus, grace, and care that it felt effortless in his hands. Juan, the procedure manager, was right by my side the entire time. He completely understood the assignment. He mirrored McKenna's compassion and reassurance, and afterward both of them came together to check on me -- a gesture that meant so much. From Jasmine and Jessica up front to the medical team in back, everyone works beautifully together. They're professional yet down-to-earth, kind, and genuinely passionate about their work. You can feel the positive energy the moment you walk in. I've seen many specialists lately, but this team stands out in every possible way. They made a stressful experience feel safe, personal, and full of hope. To Brandon, McKenna, Juan, Jasmine, Jessica, and Dr. Nguyen -- thank you for treating me like a person, not just a patient. You turned what could've been a scary experience into one of the most positive and healing medical moments of my life.
