Returning to this office was the best decision I have made. I have always experienced sinus allergies and eventually sinus infections. In 2020, things got much worse, so my PCP referred me to ENT & SINUS CENTER in Rancho Cucamonga. My experience with the practice, from the front desk staff to the telephone service, left much to be desired. However, my doctor, Henry H. Nguyen, M.D., was unbelievably amazing, so I continued my care with him. Fast-forward to 2022: I could not contact anyone in the office; my messages went unanswered, and I went out of my way to stop by for answers. So, I decided not to return. While I continued to follow all of Dr. Nguyen's recommendations for my sinus care, it wasn't enough. I debated going elsewhere, but the thought of care from another physician who had neither a passion for his chosen field nor heartfelt care for his patients simply didn't do it for me. In 2024, I got another referral to a different place, and just as I was going to enter a new office, I decided to call the ENT & SINUS CENTER one last time. Calling again was the best decision I have ever made regarding my healthcare. Thank you for bearing with me and allowing me to share the background. The office has a brand-new team of staff, and the experience is completely different. No more unanswered calls or negative attitudes from anyone. The receptionist was polite and happy when she answered the phone. Emily P.A., Marissa M.A., and Nidhi M.A. went above and beyond what I expected. I continued my care with Dr. Nguyen and Deborshi Roy M.D., and had a Balloon Sinus Dilation back in November of 2024. Both doctors are truly amazing and kind. I am not one to write reviews, and it's been a while since my procedure; however, I think it is of utmost importance to let others know when one finds the right care. I highly recommend this office. You will not be disappointed. Everyone listened and made sure I was comfortable. Dr. Nguyen ordered all the tests needed to provide an accurate diagnosis. The good - so I thought - got an immediate appointment. The staff is friendly and are doing their best within the confines of their responsibilities and set expectations. This was my first visit. I was the only person in the waiting room. Vacant waiting area and an immediate appointment are generally not good signs; nonetheless, I remained hopeful. I was called in by the medical assistant and quickly received a sinus scan. No one discussed that a scan would be preformed. I have never been to an ENT so assumed it was protocol. However, the lack of transparency & zero discussion about potential costs is worrisome. I know realize that, based on the reviews, I may receive a hefty bill. I'll update if billing is suspect. Waited for PA several minutes. She was nice, seems caring and answered my questions. She was super helpful in referring me to VNG/Vestibular testing for swaying dizziness. However, the delivery and flow of the appointment felt scripted and eventually led to the recommendation of two outpatient surgeries. Post my appointment, I read the reviews and now realize it's the same procedures pitched to the majority of reviewers. Let's just say that I feel uneasy with patterns. The appointment ends with a procedure coordinator, who is ready to schedule your surgery, which I did not schedule. In the end, it felt more like a sales pitch. My assessment could be wrong but I will look elsewhere for continued care. My perception is that the PA and staff are merely working under this care model and are doing their best within that sales focused framework. I scheduled an appointment here to rectify a tonsil stone issue, a few months ago. After a CT head scan and sinus inspection, they tried to sell me on a Sinuplasty and turbinate reduction surgery. After some discussion about the recommended procedure, I asked, "What about my tonsil stone issue?" I was then told that a referral to another ENT office could be made because they do not address tonsil issues. This was the reason I stated for my visit in the first place. So why did they even make the appointment, if they did not intend on addressing the issue? After the PA left the room, a young lady came in to try to sell me on the surgery. She was like a "closer" at a car dealership. She was very obviously uninterested in my issue, but very obviously interested in the "sale". On a side note, and separate from their unprofessional practice in this case--Is not Throat part of the ENT acronym? And are not tonsils in the throat? Maybe they should change their business name? So fast forward a few months, I just received bills for nearly $2,000 ($505 for CT head scan, and $1443.79 for the office visit and nose scope). I paid the $505 and figured I would chalk it up to a lesson learned. But then a second bill arrived about a week later. This one indicated they performed a surgery. Apparently when they look inside your nose and sinuses the medical billing code indicates it's a surgery. Wow, what a scam. But that's how they do their billing apparently. Billing aside, the "bait" was set in their making of my appointment for my tonsil stone issue, and the "switch" occurred when they tried to sell me something else. I will be contacting my insurance company and disputing the claims. This is a classic bait and switch con. I certainly wish I would have read and paid attention to the other reviews. To summarize, the ENT & Sinus Center made an appointment with a patient (me), knowing they would not address the issue, for dishonest gain. I highly recommend that you consider this and the other reviews as a warning, and avoid being victimized like me. read more

Dr Nguyen and his staff are great! I got balloon sinuplasty and turbinate reduction a couple weeks ago. Dr Nguyen is a master of his craft. I literally had a few hours of discomfort but literally was pain free the next day. I couldn't believe it. I did the nasal rinses and all that but I couldn't believe how quickly I healed. My friend got the same operation with another doctor and he as struggling do about 5 days. My breathing is much better, my snoring improved. When I called because I couldn't breathe through my right nostril, Jasmine at the front desk was kind, patient, and genuinely cared about helping me. I went in for a stuffy nose, ended up paying over $5k out of pocket for a septoplasty I didn't need that caused insane pain and bleeding, and still have a stuffy nose. I got bit by the same Anthem "in-network" bait and switch as others reported. This place pretends to be in network for Anthem but is not. My wife recently had a balloon sinuplasty done at this business. She was very satisfied with the procedures that were performed. She arrived one morning for a consultation. She shared her insurance (Anthem PPO) with the front office and they shared with her that she had already met her deductible for the year and her out-of-pocket would only be the co-pay(s) and pharmacy. That day they did the radiology (CT) and set the surgery for the following day. She had the surgery, she felt immediate relief, and she was very pleased with everything. She attended the follow-ups and still everything is going good. Soon after, the billing process starts. Our insurance accepts some bills but not others. This is where the difficulty begins. My wife starts talking with the insurance company and sharing that on Anthem's website, Ent & Sinus Center is listed as in-network. Turns out the facility is in-network but the doctor is out-of-network. The doctor, Henry Nguyen, is the proprietor. So, the doctor that owns the business, bills the insurance with a different provider id for certain items (surgery)?? Probably good business to share this before any work is performed unless you are trying to do something dishonest. The front office shares to just bring the insurance checks in and sign them over. Really?? Alarm bells started going off. There are still outstanding charges above what the insurance paid, and the front office says "we will work that out". Uhhhh...NO!! This is very unprofessional and no way to do business. Their billing is outsourced, and after quite a bit of back and forth, they agreed to the amount the insurance paid us and everything else was waived. We received that in writing and paid immediately. Terrible. Did my Eustachian tube inflation with balloon in only one ear. Cash was $3500. They did the procedure then no follow up nothing. Don't call and ask for advice cause you will be met with someone that's annoyed on the other line. Never called for my follow up. I called the day of to confirm and no one picks up the phone. I'm now going through Kaiser to have them finish what this place started but didn't finish. Almost 2 weeks post and still have muffled hearing. No one has called me, terribly rude humans working here with zero compassion. I've heard they are under new management now so most of the reviews are terrible now. I can see why. I've never felt so bad about calling to ask a question or so ignored because no one cares that my follow up was last week and they still haven't called me back. Save your $3500-5 $5,000 dollars and just file a grievance with your own insurance and they will get you in to a place they approve if take you in themselves. This company is money hungry and only do half the job right. Now Kaiser my original insurance is taking over because I'm still having issues and this place won't even pick up the phone so I can get in for a follow up. Sad to say it, but I should have stuck with Kaiser in the first place and saved my money. Read their reviews first. That way you know all the issues you're going to have once you pay for the procedure. Kaiser said that was a second tier operation and should only be done if ear is muffled still after 4-6 weeks. They try to do natural methods first. This place saw me and knew viewed me as that target. I had to pay all the money upfront. That's always a bad idea because then they've gotten their money and they don't finish the work. It's terrible and it's taken a serious toll on my mental health. Please don't go here if you don't want to get a half done job and pay thousands in cash up front for it. Now I've learned in my name payments because then they don't get their money all at once so they have to do the entire procedure and follow ups. Any place that asks cash up front now is hurting for money it is planning to take the money and run. This place says all cash up front. So bad. Go there at your own risk. read more

TL;DR - Highly recommended! Even if you don't have an urgent concern, visit this ENT for a standard routine check up - so you don't have to visit for an urgent concern. They're great. You will not regret it. -- After 30+ years, I unfortunately had a reason to visit an ENT. This practice made me wish I had more issues. Every single person I encountered surpassed the exceptional service provided by the previous individual. I was first shocked that there was availability next day to address an ear infection that was not resolved by an Urgent Care physician. Of course I get a flat tire on the way to the appointment. I called informing the front desk that I'll be 15-20min late as I had to return and switch cars. The receptionist was so kind - first attempting to book an appointment a little later in the day, but ultimately confirmed that they'll still be able to check me in when I arrive. Less than 5min after my late arrival Jessica brought me back and explained the process for new patients. She clearly explained how the CT device will operate and exactly what to expect. She then took the time to listen and precisely document my concerns. Her follow up and probing questions were comforting as it confirmed she understood, empathized, and wasn't just checking the proverbial box. Throughout my time in the office she regularly followed up to ensure all my needs were met. Brandon, the physician assistant, then took me through the results of my CT scan. He bestowed an immense amount of knowledge and took the time to answer every trivial question I threw at him. I have never seen inside my own ears, nose, nor had a detailed review of a CT scan. Being an Engineer and fascinated by how things work, I admittedly abused whatever standard time limit there may have been to satisfy my own piqued curiosity. Brandon showed nothing but patience and ensured I understood everything before moving on. After Brandon addressed all my concerns, he handed me off to Sweety who helped me schedule the next steps, legalese, and walked me through day by day expectations on both my end and theirs. The overwhelming daunting feeling quickly subsided as Sweety walked me through the details which were already organized and clearly documented on a sheet for take home. This is an A+ competent practice with efficient processes. Shout outs to Alex, Sarah, Sandra, Ruthie, Mark, Yessica, Marissa, McKenna, Nidhi and Shannon as well! I came in for a stubborn sinus infection after not finding availability with the ENT my primary doctor recommended. This ENT had nearly immediate availability (spoiler alert: it was not for good reasons). The receptionists were nice enough. I was taken back to get a CT scan and seen by a PA, who was mostly indifferent by my existence. Granted, by Friday afternoon, I too would be drained but I felt like an inconvenience based on her attitude towards me. After reviewing my scans, she recommended a balloon sinus dilation, which felt like an extreme procedure given what I felt was just a simple infection. She claimed that antibiotics had a high failure rate and that this procedure would help me sleep and breathe more easily (neither of which were things I was having trouble with). I felt pressured to accept this as a solution as she started to talk about scheduling and sending pre-procedure antibiotics to my pharmacy. Then she told me that it would cost $3,000 for a 20 minute in-office procedure and sent in another woman to put me on a payment plan and schedule my appointment for a couple weeks out. I asked to have the weekend to think about it dropping $3k on something I had only just heard about. The whole time I felt like I was trying to be sold a used car. The payment girl told me that they "asked the PA what could be done about the price" and that they actually were dropping $400 off the $3400 price tag and were just not going to tell insurance. It was as if she was trying to be my friend which was unsettling. Every alarm bell was going off as I felt like I was in the middle of a being scammed by a sleazy salesman. I was sent on my way with a weak antibiotic and the ick. Also they said they could not send my CT scans to my new ENT who later told me that I would not even qualify for a balloon sinus dilation given my medical history. TL;DR: This place just feels like they want to scam naive patients who don't know better out of thousands of dollars. read more

I had earwax removed and received a bill for $450. I complained on YELP and the next day I got a call saying it was a mistake and should never have happened. I would be reimbursed. I waited, and waited. I complained on Yelp again and got the money. While the medical care was great, I will not be back. If it wasn't for YELP I would never have been reimbursed. This place changed my life. I had been sick for over three months with ear pressure, hearing loss, and debilitating tinnitus (which I'd had for over a year). While traveling, things got so bad I ended up in the ER in Southern California. That's when I found ENT & Sinus Center. When I called, Jasmine listened to my story and immediately scheduled me for the next morning--such kindness and urgency! When I arrived, Sarah did a CT scan, and Shannon carefully reviewed the results. For the first time, I felt hopeful. They explained the root of the issue and offered a real solution: outpatient surgery. Since I was from out of town, McKenna worked quickly to schedule surgery with Dr. Roy the very next day. Dr. Roy is phenomenal. He explained everything step by step, which helped ease my anxiety. He ended up performing four procedures--and I felt very little pain or discomfort. Now, just 12 days later: my hearing is fully restored, my tinnitus is GONE, I'm breathing better than I have in 30 years, and my sense of smell has returned. I feel like I have my life back. Not happy with this place. Came here for allergies and other concerning symptoms. First of all, some random employee tried to get me to have an unscheduled CT head scan done almost as soon as I arrived. This was before I saw any of their actual rendering providers. Then one of their female PAs performed a laryngoscopy on me to diagnose me with "allergies," and recommended over-the-counter products. Super. I already knew that. And see didn't seem too thrilled to be there. About a week later, my symptoms worsened and I was treated at a local urgent care clinic. In less than one minute, the urgent care doctor suspected something was wrong clinically. He prescribed me antibiotics, took a specimen for lab culture, and referred me another ENT doctor. Turned out, according to the lab, I had a nasty throat infection that said antibiotics eventually resolved (confirmed via another subsequent and negative lab culture). Went to another ENT for another laryngoscopy and was diagnosed with a common throat condition previously unknown to me. I even went to see another ENT doctor who also diagnosed me with the same common throat condition. Somehow the female PA and her supervising doctor(s) at this location missed it? I spoke to several front desk ladies at this location who said their doctors don't perform tonsil surgeries. Just another reason why I regretted going here. I verbally recommended for the facility to terminate that female PA. The female office manager did refund my co-pay charge and provided me with my records at my request. I have been a patient at ENT and Sinus Center off and on for years . Unfortunately I did file a grievance today as the staff at this office does not know how to do their job and simply do not care about patients. I have been waiting for a much needed procedure for months now... Initially the staff said the procedure was approved then I was told a referral was never submitted and I have to have the procedure scheduled first. So I followed these steps , scheduled the procedure told office staff Evelyn, Ariana and Jasmine about the issue that I already had with this office not following their process for referrals ! I was reassured everything would be submitted properly and as a STAT . I have been following up with the same staff Members listed above to request status of my authorization . Staff continued to say the referral is "pending" I explained I called my insurance company and IPA ..there is no referral ! Procedure is scheduled for 3/25 (husband and I both had to schedule time off way in advance ) Staff continues to say it's pending and was submitted as STAT since 3/10/26 ..this is not true because the turn around time is 72 hours for a decision! Of course I call my insurance company and IPA once again ..they are 100% sure the referral was never submitted ! I called back ENT office spoke to Jasmine , requested to speak to the Office Manager ..per Jasmine the Office Manager is not in and she will send a message to the referral staff . These people act like it's a bother to do their job. I told these staff members multiple times that something is not right because their system may be showing the referral as "pending" however both my insurance company and IPA confirmed multiple times that the referral is not there ! It's extremely concerning that there are individuals like this in the medical field. One of my 1st jobs in the medical field was at a ENT office and as a Nurse I would never treat a patient this way! It's absolutely unacceptable . I truly feel bad that other patients are probably having the same experience. read more

Came in on my doctors referral due to ear pain and tennitis . They scanned my head and told me my sinuses could be drained with a special procedure that may help . But first referred me from vestibular testing . The PA I saw was very casual in saying the tennitis was most likely something that couldn't be helped. Went for vestibular testing and came back for follow up for results . Results showed I had some crystals in my ear that seem displaced . Referred me to physical therapy for that . He said if that didn't work I should see a neurologist and now said I wouldn't need the sinus procedure and just use nasal spray when they realized my insurance was Medicare . They are quick and dismissive in and out no patient education no other solutions just sent me on my way . Ok thanks for nothing . Also my boyfriend was also referred there and they tried so sell him on the sinus procedure as well and wanted to charge him $3500 but said they can knock $500 off and not tell the insurance he has private Insurance . just weird how they are pushing this sinus cleaning procedure like used car salesmen . If you're planning on seeing an ENT, don't bother with this office as the Dr's do not see new patients. had a very frustrating and uncomfortable experience at ENT & Sinus Center. I went in for an issue with a plugged ear, which had been bothering me since a flight about three weeks ago. Unfortunately, my visit was nothing short of traumatic. Physician's Assistant Shannon Ly was assigned to me, and from the start, things were off. She immediately insisted on performing a wax extraction, as she saw compacted wax. However, she spent more time complaining about the room not being stocked with necessary supplies than focusing on the procedure. She even elevated my chair by about 3 feet with my legs dangling, making it very uncomfortable. When I asked if the legs could be adjusted to make the chair more comfortable, she told me it couldn't be done--despite the fact that the other chairs in the other rooms were adjustable. I don't understand why she didn't simply move me to a different chair, especially after I told her I was uncomfortable, and that the room was not properly stocked. Mind you, the office was not busy - I believe I was the only patient being seen at the time. To make matters worse, she kept leaving the room to grab more supplies but never bothered to switch gloves, which made me feel incredibly uneasy and it honestly felt unsanitary. When she did perform the wax removal, it was painful. While I mentioned the pain was tolerable, things took a turn for the worse when I started bleeding. The area became extremely bloody, and she seemed completely lost, not knowing what she was doing. Most of the wax remained in my ear, and I left the office feeling worse than when I came in. Additionally, at the beginning of my visit, I had a CT scan and asked when the doctor would come in to see me. I was told the doctor doesn't see new patients, which was completely infuriating. I was expecting a more thorough consultation with a professional who would actually assess my situation. Overall, this experience was unprofessional, unsanitary, and incredibly disappointing. I felt rushed out by the end, my ear felt neglected, and frankly traumatized by the entire ordeal. I would not recommend this office to anyone and will be seeking care elsewhere. read more

I scheduled an appointment because my ears are ringing louder than usual and my sensitivity to noise has heightened since being in an accident. This was explained when I made the appointment and when I spoke with the physician. Their only focus was on my sinuses and how they have a procedure to help me breath better and get a better quality of sleep by reducing my snoring. I DID NOT COME IN FOR THAT!! I have no problem breathing and my snoring bothers no one! Then to tell me how much it would cost, what my insurance covers, and they make payment plans if I needed to do that. Again ... why?? My ears are bothering me. I said nothing about my sinuses, snoring nor breathing. They basically dismissed the reason why I had made the appointment and my concerns about my ears. FINALLY, after all of that I get a referral to get my hearing tested. The next day they called and said the place they referred me to doesn't take my insurance. Again, frustrated. They gave me another referral. The only reason why I'm giving at least two stars because of the young lady at the front desk. She was kind when I called and I raised my voice at her because of the noise in the background that I could hear while we were making the appointment. Went in to get my ears cleaned because of some irregularities I was having with my hearing. I was greeted by the two ladies in the front and then MA who's name was Jessica was very nice and respectful treated me very well. I was a bit nervous and she made me feel comfortable mind you it was my first time going to an ENT. And the physician who attended me was very helpful and attentive. I saw that he was genuinely interested in my health and made sure I had all the help I needed for the future. After I was leaving and on the road going home. I get a call from him saying that he saw something he didn't see while I was in office. I give him credit because he could've just let it go and not call. But he did. So disappointed with this place after waiting for 2 months for my son to see a doctor, finally we get him check and Insurance approves surgery. Didn't receive a call from the office to schedule surgery I had to call them to get an update and now there telling me that they will no longer be seeing minors at this location since there under new management. Went for a one-year hearing check up was told new owners of practice ,once they saw I had Medicare all they wanted to do was different tests on me, but yet they could not do my hearing test that I needed to have done. The only reason I was there. They knew ahead of time I was coming in for just a hearing test I feel they wanted to just get me in and get the money from Medicare and not take care of a patient , I feel they were very deceptive in their practices , The office girls were all very nice but someone should've told me over the phone that they don't do the hearing test there anymore and I could've made arrangements to go to another doctor. Yesterday was my first visit at this facility. If I could give them 10 stars I would. Everything about my visit was pleasant upon checking in. The staff at the front desk as well as all the others who politely took their time to listen, review my history, and clearly explain the cause with a solation to repair all my ailments. I have been to 3 ENT docs prior to this spanning over a 4 year period and none of them came even close to matching the care I received at this facility yesterday. Even their office is emasculate and clean with state of the art equipment. I actually was able to see the interior of my nasal system as well as my ear canals on a big screen TV as Mark walked me through step by step with the amazing clarity. In my case they are recommending balloon sinuplasty. Yesterday September 5th, was my first visit and already I have an appointment for the balloon procedure on September 27th. Simply amazing and really unheard of anymore these days. From what I understand this facility is under new management. I hope and pray that they will be able to continue this kind of care going forward for so many others like me who seem to just get pushed around and neglected by so called medical professionals. Called and booked an appt here in early January. The earliest appt they had was Feb 28, so I took it needing to get my nose looked at. I was turned away from the front desk they stated I never had an appt, and the incompetent front desk workers don't know how the months work. I would never book an appt here just based on the hostility of the front desk associates and disappointed with how the situation was handled.. the soonest they could "squeeze me in" was March 22 (after she told me the soonest they could book was end of April) so which one is it? This place is trash. Don't go here, look elsewhere.
