SO this was a yelp special! My friends and I do a monthly dinner but the only rule is no chain…read morerestaurants (open to any suggestions). Went on yelp, found this place, and was pleasantly surprised. Walking in the sports bar was a little tight and packed but from the dining room in the back you couldn't hear any of the noise. Rylie was our server and she was the absolute perfect server for us. We are goofballs on a good day and a walking circus troupe on others. She laughed with us, gave us drink and appetizer suggestions, helped my indecisive behind pick and entree, and quickly became part of the family. She is the type of server that you come back to a place just to see. We love you RY ; We even got to meet the chef Al, the man responsible for the kick ass brisket tacos that our group is still talking about a week later. Making it our business to stop in for his smoked wings and ribs. Do yourself a favor and stop by this "blink and you'll miss it" roadside place, you and your wallet will be happy that you did!! Dinner for four, drinks, appetizers, and dessert....only $130 (before tip)

The floor in the main dinning room is pulling apart and is duct taped together. The chairs and tables are flimsy and falling apart. I asked for a blood orange margarita as it was the special of the day. It was not drinkable. It was some sort of powder or mix that was so sour and overly sweet. It did not have any tequila in it. I literally took one sip and left it there. The cheesesteak was good on a seeded roll. It was ribeye and it was done well. Hence tge two stars. The bbq platter had brisket, pulled chicken, ribs, corn and Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese was the best thing on the platter. The pulled chicken was sitting in a bowl of grease. The brisket was big globs of fat. The ribs were okay. They put a tiny line of sauce on each item. The service was rushed and spotty. I had heard good things, so we decided to give it a try. Very disappointed. There are so many good places around this area now, there is no need to go here again.

Smoke…read moreBreak BBQ is on the food truck circuit, reaching Newtown only every once in a while, according to Terrance Lewis, the owner/operator. I may have been his first customer of the day as when he opened the doors to the smoker, I saw that everything was already cooked to perfection, and all he had to do was take my order and transfer the half rack of ribs and mac&cheese into containers and hand them over to me. Each tray was overloaded with ribs, brisket, wings, and several sides, with nothing yet removed. On the short drive home, my car was full of the savory aroma of the Mr. Spice Honey Chipotle sauce poured over the dry rub meat just before purchase. It got even better when I broke everything open, plated a couple of ribs and large spoonful of M&C, and dug in. The meat was pull off the bone tender, with wonderful flavor. Had to suck off every last morsel. The chack and meez was a little dry, but held its taste and texture. If Smoke Break finds its way back to Newtown Brewery, I would definitely sample the brisket and wings in addition to another rack of their ribs.

The freshness of the veggies packed inside are delicious!! I have tried spring rolls in the surrounding area (Warminster/Richboro/Langhorne/Holland) which are always so soggy and oily inside. It's quite gross & I can promise I have NOT been back to those places. Asian Palace spring rolls have a few pieces of cut shrimp (nice chunks) that I have to pick out because I'm allergic, but they are soooo darn good and fresh, I'm willing to risk it lol. Their chicken fried rice is tasty & has good amount of carrots, peas and onions. Can't tell ya how many other restaurants have cut corners and dobt put veggies in and to top it off skimp on the chicken. I was highly pleased to see A.P. Is they providing what customers want making people want to keep coming back! Great job Asian Palace, our go to place!!!

Still love a Chinese restaurant that puts out hot tea, noodles and duck sauce the minute you sit down. Today I took 24 ladies to lunch (pre-arranged menu choices). All 24 ladies (some hard to please) enjoyed everything! Courses were timly, food was fresh, hot and generous portions. It was perfect. Bruce, the owner was very accomodating, Alan and Ken took great care of us. They didn't miss a beat. Generals Chicken is all white meat. I enjoy the veg tempura but everything is a good choice. And lots of left overs! Yay! Must end with the pistachio ice cream...our group favorite!
