The canister-type oil filter was recently installed and done wrong. The O ring was caught in the grooves of the securing device and not in the o ring groove. They replace the filter element, added oil and got me sorted quickly. No messing around. Also, I had a screw in my tire--which I knew but forgot to tell them about. The technician saw that and repaired the tire without being asked. So, so helpful and done with initiative. All done very reasonably. Awesome! Thank you

I took my Dodge Charger there while home from college on winter break and they did an excellent service. It is a small place but quaint in every way. You know the place is proud and does good service when their front desk area has all sorts of cool posters, old cars, accolades, and memorabilia. I asked if it was getting time for an oil change, to take a look at my breaks, coolant, and exhaust to make sure the welds were holding. Turns out, I only needed the oil change and a little bit of coolant. They didn't try and upsell me on anything. They were very straightforward and extremely quick. Car was ready within an hour. Can't ask for better bang of the buck, bout $110 total after looking at everything. P.S. They filled my windshield wiper fluid up for free. Thanks Olde's!

They asked me if I could leave my car ALL day and I replied asking if they could tighten up the appt time because I have nowhere to go so will be waiting for it. She told me to come next week at 9am and they'd get on it first thing. I showed up for my appt this am at 9 and told her I'm going to just walk while they work. I asked if there was a sidewalk to the park a couple blocks away. She didn't know. I asked if you guys also do trailer hitches. She didn't know. She never offered to find out. So I asked if it would be done in two hours. She said yes. I'm guessing one hour would have been enough. I walked around to kill time and was back in two hours to find my car had not been touched! I was livid! The guys in the shop were just standing around. My time (like every customer) is valuable! I took 3 hours off work unpaid for this. What a waste! I won't be back. Sadly, my friend was right. *Edited one week later. The manager called me, apologizing and offered to do the service for free. I told him only if they started working on it right when I brought it in. We agreed on it. When I came in, they told me it would be 1-1.5 hours. It was only 45 minutes (more in line with my expectations). I bumped the stars up to 3 for them doing the right thing, but not 5 since it shouldn't have happened in the first place.

After…read moretaking my truck there for a new set of tires, they insisted I needed a set of inner and outer tie rods in order to balance to vehicle. So after more than a thousand dollars later they installed them. After a year goes by I need some upgrades to my suspension by another shop, and they notice my "loose" ties rods and recommend replacing them, I then take back to good year to balance and for them to say there is nothing wrong with tie rods. Well they are incorrect, tie rods do need to be replaced after a year and half of good years install, and I asked tech if they used anti-seizing liquid on the bolt in witch allows the truck to be re balanced for future shops and didn't even know what the word anti-seizing meant, let alone did they put on the bolt upon install. So if it were up to good year, let's just do tie rods every other year for 1k yea?!?!?!? ‍ So end all be all, I cannot trust this shop to do anything, and the kids in there who claim to run the shop can't even tell me who did the work, as they all point fingers when their own name is on the work ticket.... 1000% Go somewhere else!! If the shop is reading this, I'll will remove this post if you purchase my new set of inner and outer tie rods and installation fees required by another shop, thank you!

Well, we weren't thrilled, but we get it: we were in the middle of nowhere, it was evening on a weekend, and it happened to be busy. So we sat down to wait. And we waited. And waited. And when we tried to check in with Scorpion two and a half hours later, no one picked up the phone. So we called AAA again, who contacted the driver eventually, who turned out to have taken some other job and driven all the way out to Rifle or some damn place. It would have been basic human decency to take the tows in the order they came in instead of based on how much they were paying--you know, keeping the promises you make, like your mother taught you when you were four and five and six. (At least, mine did.) Or they could have called and said "This other job is taking longer than expected and we're really sorry, but we're going to be later than we thought," which would have been minimally polite, even if not true. Or they could have had AAA call us and let us know, which would have at least been minimally decent. Or they could have called us themselves and said, "Hey, we got a non-AAA call, which pays better, so you jerks are just going to have to wait 'til we're slow," which would have at least been honest. But they didn't do any of that. They just left us sitting on the side of a mountain in the dark with our thumbs in our asses, waiting for a ride that wasn't even coming. Special bonus: we also had to go to the bottom of the line at the other place AAA called, so we had another wait of over an hour. Which made for more than four hours sitting on the side of the mountain in the dark with no bathrooms or water or food because these cowards took a job but didn't bother to fulfill it. Thanks, Scorpion! Great work!
