My friend told me the Evergreen, CO store was not a good one, but I decided to see for myself. I called to make an apt to get my snow tires swapped out. They asked me if I could leave my car ALL day and I replied asking if they could tighten up the appt time because I have nowhere to go so will be waiting for it. She told me to come next week at 9am and they'd get on it first thing. I showed up for my appt this am at 9 and told her I'm going to just walk while they work. I asked if there was a sidewalk to the park a couple blocks away. She didn't know. I asked if you guys also do trailer hitches. She didn't know. She never offered to find out. So I asked if it would be done in two hours. She said yes. I'm guessing one hour would have been enough. I walked around to kill time and was back in two hours to find my car had not been touched! I was livid! The guys in the shop were just standing around. My time (like every customer) is valuable! I took 3 hours off work unpaid for this. What a waste! I won't be back. Sadly, my friend was right. *Edited one week later. The manager called me, apologizing and offered to do the service for free. I told him only if they started working on it right when I brought it in. We agreed on it. When I came in, they told me it would be 1-1.5 hours. It was only 45 minutes (more in line with my expectations). I bumped the stars up to 3 for them doing the right thing, but not 5 since it shouldn't have happened in the first place. read more

Oh good year evergreen.... hiring young mechanics right out of trade school isn't working. After taking my truck there for a new set of tires, they insisted I needed a set of inner and outer tie rods in order to balance to vehicle. So after more than a thousand dollars later they installed them. After a year goes by I need some upgrades to my suspension by another shop, and they notice my "loose" ties rods and recommend replacing them, I then take back to good year to balance and for them to say there is nothing wrong with tie rods. Well they are incorrect, tie rods do need to be replaced after a year and half of good years install, and I asked tech if they used anti-seizing liquid on the bolt in witch allows the truck to be re balanced for future shops and didn't even know what the word anti-seizing meant, let alone did they put on the bolt upon install. So if it were up to good year, let's just do tie rods every other year for 1k yea?!?!?!? ‍ So end all be all, I cannot trust this shop to do anything, and the kids in there who claim to run the shop can't even tell me who did the work, as they all point fingers when their own name is on the work ticket.... 1000% Go somewhere else!! If the shop is reading this, I'll will remove this post if you purchase my new set of inner and outer tie rods and installation fees required by another shop, thank you! read more

Needed 2 new on a service truck. Ordered over the phone and had to move customer appointments and get off work early in order to get on goodyears schedule. Upon drop off, I was informed they don't just install 2 tires per policy. Would of been nice to know before moving business around for something that could of been mentioned over the phone order. Sales pitch to make 4 tire sale on a thrust driven truck because my good tires only had 10/32 left. Bad business and ended up losing a $1k sale for no reason as the other 2 tires were to be purchased in a few weeks as they only had 2. Couldn't even adhear to their own policy requirements. Don't waste your time at this shop. Managers hide and push the kids to do the sales bidding. read more

My rear running tail light is out , after bringing the car and asked to leave it for 8 hours , the manager of the store tells me he can't do anything for another 12 days , after I tell him it's not ok , he raises his voice gets on my face with his whole body and tells me to leave it he will call the cops .. I understand if he doesn't have the staff or mental capacity to fix a bmw tail light .. but the attitude was completely unnecessary, rude and most of it incompetent.. I drove to Oldes next door and they fix it in 10 minutes .. Needless to say a few weeks back he was also very rude to my wife when she asked about a mail on her tire .. As Evergreen locals we thrive on supporting local businesses.. But unfortunately I feel the need to express that this shop has no knowledge on anything . I have been getting tires here for the past 6 years despite living in the mountains 2 hours away. The last time I got tires, the tire sensor light went on THAT evening. My local mechanic said that it was most likely damaged when the new tires were put on. However, Goodyear stated it was not their fault and wanted to charge me $130! I bought some tires about a year ago from this place, and spent a little extra for a warranty because I often have screws in my tires from driving I-70. Got a screw in my tire, took it in. The guy tells me where the screw is makes it impossible to fix. They have to take the tire apart to fix it. Impossible. I can have a new tire under my warranty, but because we are closer to the end of the warranty than the beginning (a lot of life left in them), it is impossible to replace one if I don't pay to replace the other three. I said, "Bye!" and drove a few feet down the road to Olde's, where they fixed the tire for $25. Skip this place. read more

"Jake", the friendly employee who helps you when you walk in, is basically a jerk who should be working in the back on tires and not up front dealing with customers. Unfortunately, I've been to this location several times for different things and it has yet to get better. They benefit from having a monopoly in the area on tires. If you can avoid this location, do so. While waiting for my car so I could just leave, I watched these guys tell a little old man in a snow storm they couldn't fix his flat tire. The guy was about 80... cmon Goodyear. "If you come back tomorrow we maybe can help you." Awesome. It literally takes 15 minutes to fix a flat tire. read more

The absolute worst customer service I have ever encountered! A tire store that can't fix a flat on a car unless you have an appointment and leave the car all day, and even then would not guarantee they would get to it. I have been going to Goodyear for over 20 years they have changed hands, and today I had to return there 3 times to pick up my car that they told me would be ready in 1 HOUR. Had an oil pressure switch repair which I assume was done right. However told me I needed a bunch of other things which were not necessary including wiper blades that had been replaced just a couple of weeks prior. Also charged me 182.26 to replace a taillights that I could have done myself for a $4 bulb from Napa! read more

My car overheated and was struggling, so I limped it into this goodyear looking for some help. What I met inside was two angry old men who basically yelled me out of their shop. Literally, one then the other shouted at me all the reasons they could not, would not, should not even look in the direction of my car. I had my daughter go to Goodyear for new new snow tires on her Jeep Wrangler. I told her to ask them to check the breaks why they had it. I knew the status of the breaks, but I wanted to see what they said to see if they were honest. They told her that it needed new rotors and breaks in front and back and it would be roughly $950. That was not the case, it needed back breaks and a turned rotor only. It should have been a couple hundred bucks. I went down to ask them about it, and even though the front breaks were new, they stuck by there story. I then asked where they even get the breaks from and they said Napa. The low end breaks at Napa are from China and don't last and can over heat and warp the rotor. I would trust them to give an accurate diagnosis, and if they fix something, the will use cheap parts that can further damage your vehicle. read more

This was my second visit to Goodyear, the first was for an oil change which they informed me wasn't possible on that day without an appointment. Lesson learned, no big deal. This visit was to pop on some winter tires which I had ordered through them online. Showed up for my appointment, left my car, they called me about an hour and a half later informing me it was done, picked up my car. Easy peasy. The Evergreen store does a great job of taking care of me. I recently had a major tire blow-out & due to it being an AWD Nissan Rogue, I needed 4 new tires. They didn't have the tire in stock but realized they could get them in that day in Lakewood. He made sure the tires would arrive in time & gave me a very good price since I was just past my 3 year tire maintenance agreement. I can only imagine what it is like to work in an tire-repair and sales store. The auto repair work would not be so difficult as the people. I can not keep track of all the people I have seen come in and be rude, expect a miracle on demand, or expect the staff to leap to their needs ahead of everyone else. Good Lord, people are breath-takingly rude to store personnel. Having said this, the "two old guys" at the front desk are surprisingly helpful and efficient. OK...so they take a day to repair a flat tire. Sometimes it's on the spot, sometimes its an hour or so later, sometimes all day. The job is always done well and ALWAYS better than I could do. I've always had great alignments and tire service. The one or two times I have had them change oil, its been good. Stop complaining. If you want something cheap and nasty, this isn't it. read more

NOPE! Took in my Audi (2003) to put some new tires on for the snowy season. While my car was in their shop, I had them perform an oil change and service. Had some new wipers put on, new air filter, all that jazz. Came home pleased. A few days later, I noticed large spots on my driveway where I had parked my car. I figured it was from a filter they hadn't tightened, or the oil plug, or something easy. Still, I wasn't happy about it, as my car had not leaked prior to being brought in. I called up Eric at Goodyear, and he was professional and courteous, and told me he could get me in right away to look at it. I drove down, and after having my car in the bay for no more than ten minutes, the tech (I think his name was Joe or John?) told me that it was a coolant leak or something (verbatim) but that he couldn't quite figure out where it was coming from. Not surprising after he spent a grand total of ten minutes looking at it. I informed him that my car hadn't leaked anything prior to getting it serviced here. His response was that they would never intentionally make a car leak. What an asinine statement. With no offer to explore further, no apology, no attempt at recompense, that was their answer. Just, "can't figure it out, couldn't have been us." Well, the spots in my driveway and I think differently. What I know is this: no leak prior to being at Goodyear, now significant leaks spilling on to my driveway. I really wanted to write these guys a good review. I did. But with the lack of customer care and irresponsible follow up I received, there's just no way. Integrity within business should be the norm, not the exception, and this outfit fell way short. I feel like once they had my money, all I was to them was a sales ticket. I will not be returning, and would warn off all would-be customers to find someone more capable, more honest, and more accountable. read more

DO NOT take your car here ever. They just start doing work without logically thinking through a proper process. I brought my car in for a vibration check and oil change. Come to find out the vibration cause was going to cost more than the car was worth. So what did they do proceeded with the oil change anyways and wanted to charge me for it. Walked in this afternoon as I have a slow leak in one of my tires ,the old guy guy at the counter was nearly rude ,looked up and then went back to his computer , it was only after I got really close to him ,did he say how could he help , I told him I had a slow leak and could he fix it ,not till sat 3 days later , and this was with tires I got from them ,so much for the free. Flat repairs. I was going to ask about a new set of tires but this guy blew that sale , a few years ago they did a lube and oil job and never. So I take my car in to have the tires rotated as part of my initial purchase. I get a call saying they need to repair my front axle because the boot is tore up. I call back to verify they are replacing the whole axle with a new axle because this is how it was done previously. The person says yes that's why it costs $250. I show up to pickup the vehicle to see I paid for a remanufactured axle not a new axle. Buyer beware - ask if you're getting a new part. read more

I needed a tire balanced, a quick job and it was about six; I pulled up to Goodyear, and looked around. There was no one in the office area, and when I heard some noise in the garage, i went around to an open bay door. The hours on the front door said they were open to 6:30, and it was only 6:10. Bought a set of tires from a Goodyear location in Denver for $1,300 along with a warranty. Since then I've moved to the mountains. I Had a nail causing a slow leak so I drove way out of my way to the evergreen location ( which is closest to my house at 45 mins) to get it plugged. The old man at the front desk refused to listen and insisted I take my business across the street. Even after I implied that I had a warranty, he said I probably won't honor it anyway and pointed across the street to another business telling me to go there . Goodyear will lose my business forever. I made an appointment to get my winter tires on at 10am. I already had the tires pre-ordered and everything. The man on the phone told me it would take a max 1.5 hours. I drove 2 hours to get to this Goodyear and it took them until 2:30pm to finish swapping out tires. This is a TIRE place...what was the point of making an appointment? Since I am from out of town I had to hike around for 4 hours with my dog in the heat until my car was done. The older man at the counter was extremely rude (not Dick though it might as well been his name) when I asked if there was anything he could do to expedite this because I still had a 2 hour drive home after that. Brought my pick up with LARGE RETREAD tires here for mount, balance and an alignment. After they did the tires & alignment, I cant drive my truck over 45 mph without going off the road. We figured the tires werent balanced and brought them back. They were very nice about it but told us that they can't balance retread tires and tried again but it didnt get any better. They insisted the tires could NOT be balanced. We brought them to another shop that balanced the tires and said the U-joints were bad so it shouldn't have been given an alignment without fixing that.
