Yikes! I took my daughter's old Prius in to have her winter tires put on and a couple days later I noticed a wobble. The tires were okay but I suspected there was a wheel problem....so I hobbled back to Firestone and they admitted the wheel had been put back on crooked, so it wasn't flat on the pavement. They quickly fixed the mistake at no charge. Thanks for admitting the mistake and fixing it but shaking down the highway and hearing the strange noise getting worse was scary! And this punched a hole in Saturday plans. read more

*Older review* I took my car there back in 2019 because there was a metal-on-metal clanking noise on a 2018 Ford EcoSport with less than 20k miles on it. The car was a piece of junk, but this place is even more so. Like seriously, we took it to them to get it diagnosed and they said it could be 3 possible different issues. We take it to the actual Ford dealership to have them fix it, and it was NONE of those 3 original diagnoses from good ole Firestone. The driveshaft was totally broken. They missed that. Really didn't know what they were doing then, and I am sure nothing has changed since. I suggest taking car problems from anyone down the hill. I'll throw in 2 stars due to the possibility of management and quality workers changing since then. read more

I bought the tire "installation-Option" with a recent tire purchase thru ebay/CarAdvise and (paid the upfront install cost) the default installer was Firestone/Evergreen-Colorado. I had the tires sent directly to local firestone. They said they could not install for about 7days. I reluctantly agreed, but was desperate b/c old tire were showing cords (I live in the mountains 40minutes away). I confirmed they could do it & firestone had already received the tires. Called in sick to get tires immediately installed, when I arrived Manager said they could not install 305/70r18. Don't trust FIRESTONE. WHAT NON-REPUPTABLE TIRE SHOP CAN NOT INSTALL THAT SIZE TIRE (they had a truck with even BIGGER tires being worked on in the middle-BAY)........EVEN WALMART COULD DO IT. I won't ever work w/Firestone again. I had to wait even longer to find another shop that could do it & drive there. Firestone Manager/shop is a USE-less liar. Refund took weeks to return. Extremely POOR SERVICE. WASTED my time, gas, & life. Please avoid this location to save money, time and protect to your vehicle. I came in for brake work and put on the cheapest brakes. They replaced them but broke off a stud. They replaced it but couldn't get off the lug nut from the stud. They attempted to source it, but did not contact me. I went by there 2 times and called with no result for 2 months. I went by to get the lug nut and they lost it. $1500 later, 10 hours and a wheel with no lug nut. read more

I explained that I urgently needed a new tire as mine blew out ten minutes into my 14 hour drive - Big O had me wait two hours longer than they said it would take and STILL hadn't changed my tire. ONE TIRE. I called fireside very frustrated. Avery was very helpful over the phone and explained the situation to the manager - they helped me immediately and I am about 10 minutes from being on the road again. I can't tell you how thankful I am for the impeccable service here. They quoted me for other issues I couldn't afford to fix. I will DEFINITELY return here when the time comes. read more

A few days before, we called the manager of this business and explained that we need to swap old tires for new tires on our 19.5 inch rims (already dismounted). We made an appointment for Saturday. We removed the tires from our motor home and placed them on our trailer, and got there on winding mountain roads. After arrival, we were informed that they do not do this service because they do not have equipment and the manager was wrong. We lost 5 days, and had to frantically find a new place so that we could actually leave on planned vacation in our rv. Very disappointing and quite typical of what is going on with the service industry nowadays. read more

COMPLETE INCOMPETENCE - brought my car in for an oil change on a saturday, by tuesday my car was leaking oil, brought it back and they said it lost a quart just pulling it into the garage. they said they would look at it and the first thing they did was order a new oil pan for $998, they never called me to tell me it was in, I had to repeatedly call to get updates. then when the oil pan came in they never called me to tell me what was wrong, when i called again they said they wouldn't know what's wrong until they opened it up. a few more days went by with no update, i happened to be driving by and saw my car in the parking lot so it thought i would call to see if it was ready, it was. so i went in to pick it up and get an explanation as to what was wrong, the manager brought me out back to show me the oil pan. He showed me that the drain plug wiggled, said that was the problem, $2400 for a wiggly drain plug that he should have seen when they changed my oil. COMPLETE INCOMPETENCE or just a liar and wanted to get another $2400 bucks from me. I will never go there again. and then the manager starting calling me "boss" in a really disrespectful tone which just fueled my anger. read more

This place used to be good. About 2 years ago I had them put on new tires, and over time the inner parts were wearing to the point that they are now nearly bald. I now have to assume it's due to bad alignment. When I asked them to rotate my tires today they would not because of it. Also, $120 for an oil change is a rip off. Even if you have an appointment, you will still be there all day long. They do not have the necessary part to work on Tesla vehicles they haven't had it since May. I was told that I could come in for a free tire install because of my last appointment was so bad and they will not honor it at any other store. I have called the corporate customer service number, and they will not help even got a case number and no one has called. I called to follow up and still no one will do anything. read more

Incapable of scheduling. Management forgets its role, and all work gets completed "as soon as possible." After scheduling an appointment online, the shop called, complained about its workload, and rescheduled for 10 days hence, on a workday. I arrived on time, having left work early, and was informed they were "3 to 4 hours behind, maybe more." Annoyed they waited until that exact moment to inform me, I handed over my keys. Three hours later I picked up my car, still unserviced, from the exact spot I parked it earlier. The shop could never commit to when the car would be ready. Based on my measure, it failed at every step, inconveniencing customers to accommodate its needs. Heck, everyone is busy. This place needs to get its act together. My barber texts me when she's delayed, so does my doctor, and my airline. Firestone alone places more value on their time than mine. I can't afford that, so no thank you Firestone! Terrible. Made an appointment and showed up for the appointment. When I got to the appointment they told me they couldn't accommodate the appointment because they only had one tech. They stated that they cancelled the appointment in their computer system and then acknowledged that the system doesn't notify people of cancellations. Firestone could have at least called knowing this. So I took the day off for this work to happen and they can't do it, I woke up early to deal with this and nothing. They suggested to me that I go to Big O Tires for my brakes. They clearly do not want the business at all. I wouldn't recommend these people at all. read more

There is no room for a zero star rating, so I'm putting a one. I've been a customer here for years. Tires, alignment, oil changes...you name it. Their service techs are among the best in the business, but the management here is forcing me to take my business elsewhere permanently. This business goes through managers like french fries. Yesterday, I was told to bring in my vehicle and the part that I had ordered to fix my suspension. Today, when I arrived there, their 'new' manager , J**, could not have been more rude in telling me that they would not install customer supplied parts. I informed this young man that I was told yesterday by the manager on duty that I could order the part and bring it in. I paid an additional hundred dollars for expedited shipping because my vehicle was not operable with the suspension in its current condition. When I complained about this to this manager, Joe, he asked me in no uncertain terms to leave the shop. Tens of thousands of dollars spent at this place, and they violate their own policies within 24 hours of telling you what the policy is. There's a reason they've had so many changes in management there and why their lot is devoid of customers Their management simply is not as good as the people who work in the shop. Stay away. Avoid Firestone Evergreen Colorado at all costs. It is not an ethical operation by any means. Hopefully they will remedy this issue that's been going on for years, but for now, I'm taking my business elsewhere! read more

These guys (and gals) always take good care of me! I recently went in for an oil change and inspection, and they found a crack in my radiator (which I actually suspected was an issue). They priced it out for me, but I have an extended warranty. Blaine went above and beyond, working with the warranty company so they could get the work done for me. I really appreciate the extra care they take to make sure their customers are good to go. I highly recommend them! read more

I recently moved from NC to Evergreen, Co. and needed my brakes repaired. Having been to other big chain repair shops, I was hesitant to use Firestone even though it was convenient and I needed the repair. They quickly identified the problem, my rear brakes. The special parts (always with Lexus) were going to take a day or so but Piper was able to find the parts and replace my rotors and pads. The car was ready in a few hours. Over the next week my FRONT brakes were squeaking. I had gotten them replaced in North Carolina 2 months before my move. Stuck again, I brought it back to Firestone. Blaine, the service manager, got a technician to look at it and had me back in shape in an hour! I'm not a huge fan of chain repair shops. This group have changed my mind on Firestone. read more

Angel said my care would be done by 4 . it was not, then attempted to close early before completing the work saying the owner wanted to close early. As a small business owner, if there is an issue, I always like to deal with the business owner first. The first time. After spending $1300 for new tires and them being completely unbalanced, the first excuse was that the rims were dirty. After being balanced again, now there is vibrations at 67 miles per hour. The second excuse was faulty weights. Hopefully, they'll get it right for the third appointment. Also as a small business owner, I don't have time to go to a tire shop three times to have a problem fix that shouldn't have been a problem. Not feeling very confident in this shop. I have found that great experiences have less to do with the company and more to do with the people working for that company. The professionals at the Evergreen location are top notch! Really great bunch, respectful and honest, all of them. It has had it's ups and downs, but the new management under Store Manager Joe Dishong has greatly improved the customer experience and we really apprecite the help provided by Isabella Figurelli. Unfortunately I walked into this place with the hope of having 4 tires installed. I had spoke to someone nice on the phone days prior. After entering the store, I had the poor luck of running into Modesto, unfortunately for me, he has zero people skills and a chip his shoulder. I set him off by suggesting how my car be lifted. To be fair, I had a vehicle, Alfa Romeo 4C, totalled 2 years prior by Discount Tires because they didn't jack the car up properly. I just wanted to avoid this happening again. Modesto does not take suggestions from customers very well, and the attitude poured out after I did so. My keys were surrendered and the technician need my help to even start the car. I was very nice and polite to everyone. I helped the technician start the vehicle. Once they pulled my car into the bay, they slid the jack under the vehicle in areas that had no jack points. Before they could damage my car, I jumped out and pointed out the jack points are marked on the body, I was met with dirty looks and more attitude from a tech that I just assisted turning my car on. I'm sure they are capable to do the work if the egos were in check. I came back to the waiting room and complained to my wife. Modesto shouted at me and told me that I should take my keys and leave. I told Modesto that I wont argue with that. My voice might have been raised, I was agitated by how I was treated. Modesto told me that I shouldn't raise my voice or there will be trouble. I'm not perfect, I make mistakes, I may have been annoying, I don't know. They one thing I do know, is you never treat a customer like the staff at Firestone Evergreen treated me. Run for your life, if they treat you bad to your face, you can bet they will not perform quality service on your vehicle. read more

I have never experienced worse service in my entire life. I am very lax about most things but first.. they forgot to give us our donut back when we visited one month ago. popped another tire hitting a pothole and when we went to come back here we noticed the donut was missing. they claimed they called us when not one of the potential numbers on file had a missed call from them. we got the donut thanks to the generosity of a friend and drove out here (over an hour) after we asked them to order a new tire for us and they said it would be delivered well before our appointment. we went to a local restaurant and hung out for a few hours and called them to check up. they claimed they did not have our new tire at all.... after they said it would be there over a week ago. left us trapped in evergreen all day long after they told us it would only be an hour or so and didn't even let us know they did not have our tire or event attempt apologize. spent hundred of dollars to get out here and to be here all day. really cannot believe this. read more

I've been coming here for years with over half a dozen different cars. I used to be a master technician, so I know when I am being BSed...and I have never been BSed by the guys here. Not even close. Reading some of the negative reviews, it is apparent that those folks are not well versed with how shops bill for repair work, nor are they familiar with the work being done. That isn't Firestone's fault. Despite always being busy, these guys are efficient, quick, they do what they say when they say they're going to do it, and they are always trying to help keep things reasonably priced. If my car needs other work, they inform me but are never pushy about upselling. I have had then mount and balance tires, change oil, align vehicles, recharge AC and more, and I have always left happy with the services performed. read more

I dropped off my truck to have them give my not-as-cold air conditioning system a lookover. I was quoted $55.00 for a leak test. OK. I was called later and informed that upon starting my truck, the tech could immediately hear that the air conditioner compressor's bearing was shot (meaning the internal seal had gone bad) and a new compressor was the fix, quoted to me at around a $1500 job. I opted to postpone that kind of a repair bill right now. When I picked-up my truck, I was handed a bill for the $55+tax leak-down test. When I told the guy that my compressor was determined bad upon start-up and nothing else was done (well, at least nothing was mentioned on the phone call I received), he informed me that a leak test WAS performed because I had requested it. That logic earns no stars to me, and has taught me a lesson to start checking Yelp reviews first while seeking future services of any kind within my community. read more

I have been a customer of the Evergreen Firestone for 26 years and the South Quebec store for 5 years prior, (when Gary Farmer was a mechanic. I am a platinum card holder. If you don't REALLY know your way around a car, do not go here. They will not give you honest service. I had an accident on the way up to the mountains and was towed here. Unfortunately, I had run over a large fallen rock and incurred two flat snow tires. The man I was dealing with told me that I absolutely had to buy four brand new tires, even though I really only needed two. I explained to them that all of my tires were brand new (not even two months) and so it would be fine to simply replace the two that needed it. He kept throwing out all kinds of liability and tread differences excuses and finally, after 20 minutes of arguing, the shop was about the close and I needed to get on my way so I had to buy four tires. I will give them credit for giving me a great deal on the tires, but it was obviously not as great of a deal as just paying for the two that I needed. When I returned home and explained the situation to my tire shop there, they told me that he had been lying to me and could easily have replaced just two of my tires, especially since they were so new. read more

After being towed to this location on a Saturday I believe I was overcharged for repair work in replacing a radiator hose - $400+ then after authorizing was told the next day had to replace a gasket inside the engine as well - another $400+. I expressed dismay at the way the cost went up after I authorized repair. After the repair I was driving my car & it started to rain. My windshield wipers were not tracking properly - not swinging all the way to the left and swinging so far right that they were hitting the windshield frame. I just today got them fixed elsewhere for free . The mechanic there indicated someone had deliberately messed with the adjustment and he assured me that they could not have gotten out of alignment without someone messing with them. They began malfunctioning the first rain after servicing at this Firestone. Whereas I cannot prove that Firestone did this, I will never take my car to this Firestone again! read more

I needed an oil change and (thought) I needed new brakes and rotors for my 2003 Acura TL. When I went in, they did my oil change and gave me a coupon I didn't even know they were offering. They were also really honest about my rotors brakes- I didn't need them just yet. Plus they showed me the actual wear with a measuring device. They did however, tell me I needed new tires (side walls were cracking- yikes!) which they also found a really affordable option for and were able to make a small adjustment that I needed without charging me. I would definitely go back and recommend this spot! read more

OK service. Tried to get me to get more work done that I wanted though I said no thanks to it. I went it because my car was slipping when I used my breaks so either I need breaks or new tires as my tires were oldish and had A LOT of miles on them. I asked them if I needed new tires and they said no. They said I needed new breaks.... I asked them to show me my car and the parts they said were bad. Always do this ladies and know what you're looking for. They were in fact in need of replacement so I did replace them. I don't think they topped my fluids off though. read more

NEVER GO HERE!!! My mother, whom is 82, has been a loyal customer for 20 years. She took her car in to change her winter tires to her summers tires over a week ago. She trustingly paid them and went on her way home. Once she got home she realized they only put 3 tires in her car. She called them and they simply said they couldn't find it. With daily communication of continually being told they can't find it I finally called and spoke to the manager. He completely doesn't care about the situation at all. Coming back from the mountains we hit a pothole and blew out not one but two tires on a Sunday afternoon about 5 miles from Evergreen and 50 miles from home. This was the only open tire shop in Evergreen. Despite being extremely busy with car emergencies these guys went above and beyond to find appropriate tires and replaced them in no time to get us home. THANK YOU! A few years ago, My friend had his later model GTO(Holden) engine work done here. Good success for him. I brought my classic car last week to diagnose a no start condition after i installed electronic ignition. I suspected they would set the timing and get the car running. They called and said the timing is set and getting spark but, the car is not getting gas and may need a carburetor. That was curious as I informed them the car was getting gas (I checked earlier) and showed them the gas in the carb as gas was applied. The mechanic said they do not work on fuel systems and to pick up the car. At least they were courteous and graciously no charged the experience. I towed it home. Just so odd as the car ran fine just a week earlier. read more

I explained I had a lifted jeep and needed an alignment because I was having death wobble. They told me they have experience with fixing death wobble. I left with 70% of my DW fixed but I wasn't 100% happy with the alignment. I took my jeep to an actual jeep shop that truly understands lifted jeeps and I can feel the stability I was looking for before. I don't believe a shop should say they understand when they truly don't and don't have the equipment necessary to fix a problem they say they can do. read more

I made an appointment for 12 more than a week in advance. They didn't get my truck in the bay until 2. At 2:30 the truck was still not being worked on. I decided at that point to leave. They are clearly understaffed for the amount of vehicles that they are scheduling. Appointments mean nothing. Don't waste your time here. The Firestone tech was clearly frustrated that he could not sell me Any additional services when I went in to rotate my tires. I keep good records specifically to protect myself from people like this. He worked really hard to sell me a transmission and radiator flush that I did not need. Then he toped of of by offering to clean my battery terminals for $50. Fine for an oil change but keep your eye on you wallet as these guys are trained to sell u anything regardless of your actual needs. read more

I'm a fleet customer, and essentially have little choice in who does the work on my company vehicle. Though Kerry has taken decent care in the past, today was an absolute fiasco. First, I dropped the car off at 8:30 for oil change, two tires and alignnent (I had called ahead and was told they would have the tires preapproved through my fleet carrier and the car would be done by 12:00. As I write this, it's 5:00, I've been here since 12:00 and all I'm getting is excuses (were understaffed). I have to manage my business through that, they should too. I really can't stand being treated as a thorn in the side rather than a valued customer. Kerry needs to adjust approach based on the person, drop the familiarity when dealing with a business professional (I'm not your 'hun' or 'darlin'-don't talk to me like that please). I can not recommend this in good conscious to anyone going forward for fear of being degraded in such a manner. read more
