I just bought the Ducati 796 from Tin Roof. I was able to get this special bike from him. What a wonderful experience it was. The Ducati is near immaculate condition. Chris is a motorcycle enthusiast with tons of knowledge and experience. If you are the kind of ridlikely to switch bikes often. I would say he is your go to guy! Ping Chris every once a while and see what he has. Keep riding!

Chris delivered my new bike to my door 40 miles away an hour after we completed the transaction!

Chris, the owner of the business, is an all-around nice guy, a motorcycle enthusiast, and motorcycle dealer, in that order. He gives honest advice, even if it's against the very motorcycle he's trying to sell. I bought a 2016 Moto Guzzi V7 Racer from him today. He made the transaction super easy, we got done in 20 minutes, and an hour later he delivered the bike right to my door 40 miles away(!) A most pleasant buying experience. Definitely would recommend Chris and looking forward to doing business with him again in the future. Thanks for everything Chris!

Saw a Moto Guzzi Chris had on Craigslist. Called and made an appointment the next day...Couldn't believe the 015 Guzzi V7 Special looked brand new...Took it for a test drive and was hooked...Chris is a solid motorcycle guy that has a good eye for excellent used bikes...Completed the transaction and was thrilled...Highly recommend Tin City for your bike needs...Dan

Long story short, I purchased the bike without riding it because I felt Chris would sell me only a solid bike.

Jeff is always a pleasure to deal with in person or over the phone. It is usually pretty easy to get in for service, even on short notice. I have never had any issues with my bike after service is completed. It is a bit pricey, but I think that is pretty much anywhere you go these days. However, you get what you pay for here. The sales floor doesn't have the biggest selection of street bikes. They typically have a few BMW GS & RT models on the floor, but you will most likely need to order the bike you want. They do have a large selection of KTM dirt bikes on the sales floor if you're looking to get dirty. They also offer a fairly large selection of riding gear for both street and dirt. When having service performed, there is a waiting room on the sales floor. In there, you will find seating, magazines and coffee by Keurig. They have also some cool historical photos of different riders over the year. If you're looking for a quality BMW service provider, CalMoto is great.

The dealers location provided a great place for test rides, away from serious traffic concerns. I bought the bike and Arlie and other staff folks made it very easy. I really could not think of something they could have done to make things smoother. Very much worth the drive from Santa Cruz County!

Their inventory caters to discriminate buyers who are looking for a special motorcycle with a distinguished trait or characteristic. It is a shop for everyone. Service fees are reasonable and bikes range in price from $5,000 - $20,000. You will not need to take out a 2nd mortgage to become a customer of HK Cycles. HK Cycles is not a high-volume, transaction-focused shop. Jeff, the owner, has a 40+ year history riding, servicing, and customizing motorcycles. He has managed to take his passion for motorcycles and couple it with his entrepreneurial spirit. Although Motorcycle Dealers and Service Centers come and go, this small shop by the Livermore Airport has been in business for decades. Jeff has earned my respect for a number of reasons. His knowledge of motorcycles and parts appears limitless. Jeff truly enjoys engaging with his customers and exploring options to help people get what they want from riding a motorcycle. Jeff does not pressure or push. But perhaps his greatest strength is assembling a team of mechanics and tuners with diverse backgrounds and interests who all share his desire to make motorcycling a little better in the East Bay. Sam appears to me to be a Harley Davidson enthusiast. He understands that culture and those bikes. Yet each time I bring in my Honda CB1100 for service, he is polite, completely engaged, and celebrates the moment even though his time spent on metric bikes may be limited. Keegan is quiet and intense. He is a metric motorcyclist with a performance bent. However, he takes the same pride working on a 650 LB bagger that he does when he services a high performance motorcycle. I believe he enjoys test driving my CB1100. He has assured me that he is better behaved on my motorcycle than his own. Fredy is quiet and always working. Although my interaction with him has been limited, it is clear to everyone that he likes to get things done and move on to the next work order. I have done business with HK Cycles for 10 years. I encourage you to visit the shop and give them a chance. In 10 years, you too may be writing a glowing review of this great shop.

Honestly, I won't even buy milk from a grocery store if I don't feel like they've earned my business with good customer service. For me, you're not just buying a bike. You're choosing the dealership you'll trust for service, support, and maybe the next bike down the road. David Padilla and Eric Chavez made sure my "maybe" turned into a "yes." They made the entire buying experience feel like a win, and that matters. We've all had that feeling where you spend money and walk away with a knot in your stomach. This was not that. The terms were more than fair, Larry in finance was amazing, and David even walked me around and introduced me to people in the other departments at East Bay Harley-Davidson. That was a first for me, and it really stood out. Great experience all the way around. I'm happy with the bike, but even happier knowing I bought it from the right place.

So here's the thing, when I tell you these folks are pretty cool it comes from a rider that's been around a while. The Dealership is, as you would expect, enormous and well financed and stocked. Don';t expect Malcolm Smith to come out to say "hello", not that kind of a motorcycle shop. But, man, we're blessed to have these folks among us making our ride possible. Just bring money, the business reflects the realities you know. Nice knowledgeable folks, pleasant place to visit, they do know their stuff and it has become increasingly more complex. But it sure beats Tesla's, don't it?
