Eric and Hondo worked to earn my business. I'm definitely a hard person to negotiate with but they went above and beyond to keep me happy. Highly suggest you ask for Homdo if you are in the market for a bike. Also Joel got me setup with all the aftermarket stuff I needed for my bike and Sarah got me dialed with helmets and headsets. Way to turn this place into a customer service focused store Eric. Thank you.

First time doing business with East Bay Harley Davidson and I went in yesterday to buy a new key fob and get it programmed. I was greeted by Natasha in the service department who was very professional, knowledgeable and quick to serve me. She mentioned that I had three recalls that needed to be done on my bike and they could take care of that while I wait which was awesome! While they were working on my bike I went to the parts department and spoke with Rogg. I've been looking at adding a tour pack to my 09 FLHT for quite some time now, and he quickly pulled up the part numbers and gave me a quote. I decided to order the necessary parts and on the way out I ran into Chad in the service department and we had a very nice conversation. My experience with East Bay Harley Davidson was enjoyable with a very friendly and professional staff. Five stars all the way gang!

I ride a hour to get here, because the service is so great. I have bought three Harleys and brought two friends in to buy theirs. I have also had mechanical work done as well. I have always gotten great service. I was a little Leary since it sold and became East Bay Harley Davidson. I was immediately greeted when I came through the door. In service I met Chad, his customer relationship and can do attitude skills are through the roof. he quickly took away any doubts I had about the change and degree of service I would receive. great job Chad and Thank you.

This is what it looks like after they did a brake fluid flush with 4% water in there.

Little update right after getting the bike back and getting a dyno tuned found multiple oil leaks took it back to them. They replaced a couple gaskets and said that was that. They delivered the bike back to me as I'm looking at it. I have some loose fittings missing clamps wires not secured. My front fairing bracket was not bolted back up correctly just multiple issues. No pride in their work. They had the bike for over six months I don't understand how, you could be so negligent these motorcycles have two wheels. If anything goes wrong, it could be somebody's life. And can't forget I got the bike with very low oil back. After full rebuild. Here is the best part paid almost $300 for break flush that was not done. I tested it today 4% water that's extremely bad. See photos.

This is going to be a long review so if you want the short version here it is. I drove eight hours round-trip to pick up my bike from these guys even though I had closer dealer options and I would do it all over again. Great prices, better people. Now for the longer version. I did some price shopping within about a 4 to 5 hour loop of my home in Reno. There were two reasons I was willing to make the drive down to Livermore for the purchase of my bike. Not only was the price worth the eight hour round-trip, but when I spoke to the owner, Mike on the phone, his service, knowledge, and friendliness was the icing on the cake. When I arrived, I was greeted at the door by name and was immediately taken to my bike to check out before doing any paperwork. Unfortunately, with my timing, I arrived right as KTM's system went down. Mike and two other techs troubleshooted for just over an hour, but the system would not get the bike out of dealer mode. I'm no stranger to technical problems and completely understand that it was out of their hands, but there was no lack of effort from his side. He didn't just say "oh the systems down come back tomorrow, he took the time to trouble shoot it for over an hour until past closing time. KTM's online support is based in Ohio a couple hours ahead of Livermore so unfortunately they were unable to help that evening. Mike said they would have it unlocked first thing in the morning when they got in contact with tech-support and that he would purchase me a hotel room for the night or I had the option to take the bike home with the dealer lock still on it and he would arrange for my local dealer to unlock it. I opted for the second option. I received a call from Mike the next morning letting me know who to ask for at my local dealer because they were expecting me. Mike was also extremely knowledgeable about the bike and gave me a full rundown of the dashboard and effectively answered all of the questions that I had because I was not used to a bike with that much technology on it.

In my opinion he went above and beyond to make my purchase easy and he's still there to answer any questions that I may have. Yes that's correct. Still there after the purchase, that's very important to me Mike the owner is a great guy as well. He actually delivered my bike to Manteca at no charge. These are the personal touches that make a difference. I had a small issue with the service department and I think it was more of a misunderstanding than anything else. Mike is working with me now and I believe we will get this figured out. Definitely recommend this shop to anyone looking for a high-quality machine at a reasonable price thank you Cal Moto for all your help and also for being there with any future problems that may occur Tony ( from Manteca)

Their inventory caters to discriminate buyers who are looking for a special motorcycle with a distinguished trait or characteristic. It is a shop for everyone. Service fees are reasonable and bikes range in price from $5,000 - $20,000. You will not need to take out a 2nd mortgage to become a customer of HK Cycles. HK Cycles is not a high-volume, transaction-focused shop. Jeff, the owner, has a 40+ year history riding, servicing, and customizing motorcycles. He has managed to take his passion for motorcycles and couple it with his entrepreneurial spirit. Although Motorcycle Dealers and Service Centers come and go, this small shop by the Livermore Airport has been in business for decades. Jeff has earned my respect for a number of reasons. His knowledge of motorcycles and parts appears limitless. Jeff truly enjoys engaging with his customers and exploring options to help people get what they want from riding a motorcycle. Jeff does not pressure or push. But perhaps his greatest strength is assembling a team of mechanics and tuners with diverse backgrounds and interests who all share his desire to make motorcycling a little better in the East Bay. Sam appears to me to be a Harley Davidson enthusiast. He understands that culture and those bikes. Yet each time I bring in my Honda CB1100 for service, he is polite, completely engaged, and celebrates the moment even though his time spent on metric bikes may be limited. Keegan is quiet and intense. He is a metric motorcyclist with a performance bent. However, he takes the same pride working on a 650 LB bagger that he does when he services a high performance motorcycle. I believe he enjoys test driving my CB1100. He has assured me that he is better behaved on my motorcycle than his own. Fredy is quiet and always working. Although my interaction with him has been limited, it is clear to everyone that he likes to get things done and move on to the next work order. I have done business with HK Cycles for 10 years. I encourage you to visit the shop and give them a chance. In 10 years, you too may be writing a glowing review of this great shop.

Honda's website lists them as an authorized dealer, and before making the trip, I CALLED and spoke directly with their service person. He specifically told me to bring my Honda generator in. I drove all the way from Dublin during rush hour--about an hour--based on what THEY told me. When I arrived, I waited while they located the service person. He then told me to bring the generator around, so I went back to my car and drove it up to unload it. Only then, as I was about to take the generator out, he suddenly stopped me and said, "Oh, wait--I was just told we don't service recalls anymore." Are you kidding me? You told me to drive all the way there, had me wait, told me to bring the generator around, and THEN decided to tell me you wouldn't service it? No meaningful apology. No attempt to make the situation right. No offer of any accommodation after wasting hours of my time. Instead, I was told I could drive even farther--to Stockton. Completely unacceptable customer service and an unbelievable waste of time. Based on my experience, I would give ZERO stars if that were an option. DO NOT COME HERE.
