So here's the thing, when I tell you these folks are pretty cool it comes from a rider that's been around a while. The Dealership is, as you would expect, enormous and well financed and stocked. Don';t expect Malcolm Smith to come out to say "hello", not that kind of a motorcycle shop. But, man, we're blessed to have these folks among us making our ride possible. But the worst part is that my deal comes with crash bars. I receive my bike with no crash bars installed. I called them, and they say their mechanic is unavailable and cannot discuss any further. I've postponed making this review but after seeing everyone else's similar experiences with the shop decided to go through with it , brought my bike in because it had low cranking compression after paying for diag they call tell me I had a dead battery (never had a single battery issue with the bike) bought a new battery anyhow so I could make it home after they killed my previous one trying to crank the living hell out of it ... brought the bike to my local dealership got a proper diag and let me tell you ... First of all, I want to say that overall my experience was good. However, Natasha is an uptight c*nt who blatantly disrespects her employees and her customers. Heard her speaking to a customer like they were incapable of understanding english (30 year old white guy, visibly annoyed). If I could give 10 stars I would! This was my 3rd new Harley purchase but my first from East Bay Harley. So I'm not new to buying from a dealer. If your thinking about buying a bike, I highly recommended them for several reasons I will list for you. SALES: I purchased my 24 CVO from Luca(not sure of spelling) and he was great! I had done some shopping around on the internet and called him with the price I wanted and he called me back, 5 minutes later agreeing to my price. I came in that day and they sold me at the agreed price with no hassle (the price was better then any other dealer) FINANCE: I can't remember the finance managers name but he was great to work with. Very knowledgeable about everything Harley offers. SERVICE: Natasha is the service manager and you won't find better customer service anywhere else if you have an issue. I was having a battery issue and within a minute of explaining the problem, she had a tech come to my house and pick up the bike same day (I live 30 miles away) to bring it to the dealer to fix it. I was greeted by Natasha in the service department who was very professional, knowledgeable and quick to serve me. She mentioned that I had three recalls that needed to be done on my bike and they could take care of that while I wait which was awesome! While they were working on my bike I went to the parts department and spoke with Rogg. Little update right after getting the bike back and getting a dyno tuned found multiple oil leaks took it back to them. They replaced a couple gaskets and said that was that. They delivered the bike back to me as I'm looking at it. I have some loose fittings missing clamps wires not secured. My front fairing bracket was not bolted back up correctly just multiple issues. No pride in their work. They had the bike for over six months I don't understand how, you could be so negligent these motorcycles have two wheels. If anything goes wrong, it could be somebody's life. And can't forget I got the bike with very low oil back. After full rebuild. Here is the best part paid almost $300 for break flush that was not done. I tested it today 4% water that's extremely bad. I had a great experience at East Bay Harley. I was greeted with a huge smile before My daughter and I even made it to the door by sales person Bobby Lee. From the gate he had great energy and was very welcoming. We spent a little time Looking at bikes and I could tell right away he really knows his inventory well and knows bikes in general. He was patient and helpful. He didn't pressure me into buying any bike and he didn't seem to be in a rush to get a sale and jump to the next one. After We found a bike for me to buy the paperwork princess was delayed due to system malfunction. My daughter got hungry and Bobby Lee left to grab her dinner on his own dons. Bobby Lee is an asset. I also worked with Hugo in financing. He really went above and beyond for me. A really classy guy from start to finish. Due to a computer malfunction The paperwork process took a really long time, but Hugo stayed patient and professional and kept me up to date with all the progress. He's a really positive guy and he did great interacting with my daughter. My experience with east bay Harley staff and facility was great. A lot of nice people and a beautiful place inside and out. I just need an inner tube. They wouldn't accomplish the repair unless I included the tire. I asked why liner, how do you know that is needed before taking the tire off? The quote was for $490 (tire = $246, tube = $43, plus liner and labor, etc.) and they don't offer a military or first responders discount! I shopped around and found exact tire for under $200 and tube for $27. I purchased from Cycle Gear and had East Bay accomplish the repair. Then he asked me if I would take $15-16k for it. I said yes, and he told me he'd call me back today at 5:15. At 5:30, when I hadn't received a call, I called him back. He remembered nothing of our conversation. He did not remember color of bike or mileage. Then he offered me $9k. They make these offers, likely in hopes that we drive right over.
