I'm in shock this company is in business- they literally STOLE $150 from me. They came to my house to look at a water fountain that I wanted some copper work done on it. They would not come out unless I paid $150 which I did. I did not hear from them for WEEKS, I had to call and keep calling. The girl that answers the phone is rude, very rude. I'm frustrated and she's just so rude, doesn't show 1 sign of wanting to help. Finally after many calls, I get a design emailed to me, and when I replied back about some changes, on April 8th, Leroy never responded. They think because they finally sent over a design 2 months later, that qualifies for them to keep my $150 without trying to work on the project. This is the WORST company and service you can get. The lowest of all lows. No response since April 8th. How bad can you get? Your response below is completely false and fabricated to make you look responsible. You lied and continue to lie to make your company look good. You went weeks and weeks without contacting me and if it wasn't for me calling, you would NOT have called or finished a design. Also, the nerve of saying this project was more money than I wanted to spend is a lie! I had changes regarding the design and you completely ignored my email and once again NEVER RESPONDED. You have very bad reviews and I hope anyone wanting to use you will take the time to read these reviews. Thanks for NOT RESPONDING to my email or try to make changes to the design as I requested, Money had nothing to do with it, I simply said the changes could reduce the price since I wanted less copper. I would like to begin by expressing my dissatisfaction with the service provided by Tin Works. Although it is not my habit to leave negative reviews, I feel compelled to do so in light of my recent experience. I contacted Tin Works with the intention of repairing a damaged range hood as a matter of urgency, in view of the forthcoming sale of my property. Despite sending multiple emails, I received only one response. I made repeated calls to the company regarding scheduling an appointment, but was met with an uncooperative and unyielding front desk lady who failed to provide any solutions or basic information, despite my simple and straightforward enquiries. For example, I attempted to ask whether I could pay by credit card, but was informed that payment could only be made by check.  Even after the company stated in the one any only email sent to me that I could pay by credit card. I have all those emails attached below for reference in the photos section.  I had to reach out to the company directly by phone over 6 times and was met with a combative, rude, no customer service, and no solutions available front desk lady. All she would constantly tell me is she can take my name and number and get back to me.  Did she once ever get back to me?  Or call me?  Never once. The day of the technician's scheduled visit, I waited, but the technician failed to show up. When I contacted Tin Works, I was informed by the same unhelpful front desk lady that the technician could not be reached, and that she had left him a voicemail. I asked her what I should do, and her response was unhelpful, simply suggesting that I "do whatever I want". I expressed my frustrations at the lack of follow-through, but did not raise my voice or behave in a disrespectful manner. Nonetheless, the front desk lady accused me of belittling her, which left me confused.  I proceeded to tell her I am going to leave a review about the company online.  She said we will respond accordingly like she's trying to scare or threaten me.  What are you going to respond about?  How awful the entire situation was?  And that you can't keep a simple appointment request on the books accordingly.  I drove 30 minutes to meet this tech at the house. It was a waste of my time and day. Given my experience, I have no intention of ever engaging Tin Works again. Instead, I will opt for a mom and pop shop that is more deserving of my patronage. Also side note it does not surprise me how low their rating is on Yelp. You are what you promote. read more

We had a type of clip for a metal display case that no one anywhere had. We took the sample over, they gave us a price a few days later and we picked up the clips the following day. These guys are super pleasant, knowledgable and super fair with price. Don't get the other reviews. If you want custom work, you have to wait ..... not one single complaint here! read more

Custom made and installed aluminum strips within my tile installation. A difficult job. They worked with me in the design process to communicate with the tile installer exactly how to install the tile so the metal would be a precise installation. The final product was beautiful. What a wonderful group if people and the craftsmanship is 5+! I wanted some copper scupper extensions made and had no idea where to begin. My interior designer turned me onto Tin Works & what a gem of a find! They do anything in metal! Terrible company, very poor workmanship. Had them remake 3 times and they could not even do a 90 degree angle and then they argue with you about it. They said that's why the charge so much because they need to remake things DUH! Very expensive for lousy work. Stay away from them! read more

Still waiting for the guy at tin works to call me back. Sent emails, left messages. Was able to speak with the guy once briefly and sent him everything he asked for only for him to do nothing. I should have read the other reviews before I wasted my time. The people in the office won't even talk to you, they just tell you to email the guy who supposedl is in charge of field services. read more

Spent a week trying to get a simple estimate for a project with pictures, measurements etc., all given. I even offered to pay them to the job site if they felt more comfortable! I found Bill to be rude and after many emails, I still can't get one single piece of information. As a designer, I can't risk continuing to look bad to my client. What a scam they are, you can send them products specs links and requirements for what you need and they still built it wrong! Good luck getting your money back when they completely screw it up. Left several messages with office and never got a return call. Had an appointment and took a day off of work to be home for service. They called morning of appointment to cancel. Said it was because it was raining. This was a week with rain in the forecast everyday. I told him it would have been great to receive a call the evening before so I wouldn't waste a day off and he said "I didn't watch the weather last night." Inconsiderate and unapologetic. read more

The only reason they get 1 star is because I couldn't do zero. My experience with tinworks was terrible. Bill and I talked on the phone for about 20 minutes about the custom gates I wanted built. He had me email me all the specs and said he'd get back to me within 3 days. That was a month ago!!!! I have emailed a called with no response received. Honesty and integrity are what I look for in a company, and these people have neither!!! I wish I looked at their yelp reviews before contacting them, it would've saved me a lot of waiting around. Shawn completed cleaning our duct and vents system here in fountain hills at the end of September. We experienced the most complete professional job. From the beginning in placing sheets throughout out the house to the most comprehensive thorough prepping and cleaning. Inspecting and using a caulking material and taping process sealing and making the system more efficient. When they finished they followed up by cleaning,sweeping and vacuuming in leaving our home better than they found it. They also balanced our venting to insure a more efficient flow throughout or system.
