Ive been going to Tina nails for a while now. I have loved all my sets so far. This time i went in for a full acrylic set with dip powder. After 2 days of having them, each has chipped, and 3 are completely gone. I work with my hands so i realize that i probably wore them off, but 2 days?? I paid $55 + $20 tip!! The photo of the black and purple set is to compare the quality..it was so good!! What happened Tina??!

My friend and I visited this store early on a Saturday am- we were able to set up two appointments for 9am. The store itself is really bright and clean, and they tend to play some ambiance videos from YouTube. I requested the euro pedicure and a light pink polish. The euro pedi comes with callous removal but my nail tech didn't scrub my feet that much. Also, I didn't notice until after I left that there were parts of my nails that were not fully polished.

Needless to say, my 2nd visit was NOT great at all. I've been back to the shop 2 times to fix 2 different nails. The gel was lumpy, and my middle finger broke. My nails haven't been done for 1 week. The pedicure was horrible, and the heals of my feet are still rough. The french tip is not straight on my toes. An absolute waste of money. I regret coming here. I have NEVER had such poor quality service done on my toes or my nails. I will not be returning. I do not recommend.

Today was my second time at Tina Nails and I am very impressed! Salon was clean, and everyone was so nice. Tina, the owner, is so friendly and helpful. Best nail salon I've been to in so long!! I got a mani pedi done with Suki and Jenny P. today and I love how pretty my nails turned out! Suki was so sweet and talkative she complimented me and made conversation which I always value when getting a service done. She even stayed late to perfect every detail of my nails after a long day of work. The environment was so friendly in general every last one of the ladies had a smile on their face it was so nice. Also, the inside is beautifully decorated and very clean which I appreciated. All in all I had a great experience! I'm definitely coming back here. read more

After just moving to the area and going thru a few other nail places, Tina's is the only place that actually seems to execute an almond shaped nail!! They cleaned up the previous places "oval" nails and actually made them almond shape for me so I was very pleased. They are always willing and eager to do any design I present to them...and trust me, I come up with some whacky stuff LOL They're always nice and friendly, prices are comparable and if you don't self advocate at ANY nail salon, that's on you!! Tina runs a great small business in Vista. I've been going to her for quite some time now. She is sweet and her nails always come out beautiful! Her salon is sanitary and she has fair prices. When I need a nail fixed she is quick to get me in. It saddens me to know that Gloria posted such a negative claim considering the natural condition and shape of her toenails as seen in the pics. Yelp is permanent and it is damaging to make false claims. I wish Tina the best of luck with her wonderful nail salon! read more

I am not one to write reviews. I usually just suck up my disappointment and move on. However, I chose this place based on others reviews so I wanted to set the record straight. Perhaps they treat regular customers differently but they were unwelcoming and impersonal. Had French manicure /pedicure. worst ever!!! had a bruise on toe she did not cover with white? within 24 hrs nail broke. have to go tomorrow to a REAL manicurist to fix their over charged $90 service. read more

By far the best nail salon I have ever been to! The salon is clean and there are plenty of chairs for both manicures and pedicures. I get my pedicures done here and I love their massage chairs! All of the staff are very friendly and I'm really impressed with their work every time! They even have a punch card for frequent guests--which I love! read more

They over book and so you're waiting at lease 15 minutes and sometimes 2-3 of them trade off on working on your nails. They end up rushing that your nails never end up how you wanted them. Tina's great but she needs others that know what they are doing so she doesn't have to fix their mess ups! read more

Tina was super nice! I went with my sister and we were tended to right away. We both went in for manicures, and I love their options. I haven't seen their color pallets selection anywhere else. My sister asked for a small change with her choice and Tina was super nice and accommodating about it. She constantly checks in to make sure you're liking what you're seeing. They make it easy to speak up if you'd like to change direction or would like a correction to take place. read more

Convinced these positive reviews must be paid.nothing about this experience here is good or positive. Don't bother making an appointment, they won't honor it. Don't bother asking if they provide a certain service, because even if it was a trip to the moon, they'd say yes and fail miserably. Just say no. read more

I've been coming here for over a year and I never fail to get greeted with a smile. Tina is so kind hearted and always goes above and beyond for the costumers. I always get a French tip Manicure and pedicure and they're always so open to making me happy depending on how skinny I want my French tip. It's very family friendly, sometimes she lets us sit in the pedicure chair to get a massage while we wait. My little brother always feels welcome whenever he comes with me and my mom to get our nails done. There's always relaxing music playing. I highly recommend Tina nails. read more

Wow, I've been shopping around for a good nail place for 14 years now and probably gone to almost all of them in Vista and Oceanside and ill definitely be back to Tinas! Most nail places are ok, nothing to make you need to come back but this little shop has great staff and they all take their time to make sure they do a good job. My pedicure was definitely one of the best I've ever had, the foot massage was great too. My nails are GORGEOUS, love love love them. Nail tech took her time to make sure each nail was perfect. You can't go wrong here, but make an appointment. Because it's like Vista's best kept secret they have a full schedule of return customers so make sure to call ahead. Tinas is great, can't wait to go back. read more

My daughter and I visited this salon when Tina had another nail tech working with her. Unfortunately due to difference of opinions our technician ended up leaving. We decided to still give Tina a try but she was a huge disappointment. She double books and she has multiple workers working on 1 customer. Bigger is not necessarily better in this case read more

I was there for the second time I made sure and made an appointment so that Tina could do my fill, as soon as I walked in they said she wasn't gonna make it to the shop until later in day. I I asked if there was someone else to do it and they said yes, they had me there waiting for 30minutes to just tell me oh sorry my appointment just came in I won't be able to help you. While I was waiting my mom was having her pedicure which basically if you don't get the expensive one done all they do is file your toenails, soak them and paint them. Terrible experience I don't get why people hype this place so much. read more

I've only ever been to Happiness Nails in Vista. They are ok, but none of the techs there speak good English so I can't really tell them what I want. I just get what I get. I came to Tina's, saw Megan, and just wanted to remove my gel, to be done with nails forever. I was over it. She said I didn't like what I had so far because I didn't get the right thing. After I told her what I wanted, she gave me a dip with a neutral color and I LOVE it!! It was this discussion that I wasn't able to have before. This was such a pleasurable experience! The massage chairs are really nice and brand new! The jets even have led lights. We were even served mimosas! Tina is very nice. I would leave a zero if I could. I asked for a French full set, the line on every is crooked, the nail shape I wanted was square and even that was misshapen. My nails are bumpy, the polish has indentations. I am very disappointed and for the price (one below average) pedicure and a (terrible) full set for 120, I expect better results. What a waste and no attempts were made to correct it read more

My right eye didn't take the lift as well as my left eye did but Dafne did not hesitate to reschedule me for a redo. As the weeks went on both sets of lashes settled to the same "height" and I no longer needed to keep my appointment. During the original appointment we talked about eyebrows and how I had an Ombre service done but how they're kind of faded now and how I wasn't happy with how thin they were. We talked about her eyebrow services and how I should grow my eyebrows out. So I did for 3 months. As California settles in for our 2nd lock down and the Salons/Spa's THIRD shutdown, I knew I had to try to get in to tame this circus. I hit up Dafne on Ig, she is super fast at responding, sent her pictures of my eyebrows and we scheduled an appointment. She cleaned up and reshaped my brows and tinted them. We decided to go a little thicker than normal and I am so glad we did. She brought me back to life. She will be my new go to. Her prices are right, her space is clean and her tint and lift products are CF and Vegan friendly. Plus I get my skin treatments and hair done all in the same vicinity, so it just works out well for me. Hopefully 3 weeks will go by fast and you all will be busier than ever! xo

She used to be located in San Marcos, but has since transferred to an oceanside location which is VERY easy to find and right off of highway 76. I arrived 10 min. early and google maps brought me to a nail salon. I wasnt sure if that was the correct place, so I texted the number on my confirmation email to double-check. Jada QUICKLY replied and let me know it was at the lashes+beauty location right next to Albertsons. After arriving, I noticed how clean and well styled the location was. Definitely felt upscale, and welcoming! She quickly brought me back and introduced herself. She is so easy to talk to, it almost felt like i've known her for years! Now to the waxing, it didnt hurt ONE bit! I'm sure thats the skill showing through Jada, and I was so blown away that it took me this long to do it. I recommend to be careful of false information on these reviews, I saw a review by Gloria saying going to Tina's Nails caused nail fungus, but it's unfair to blame something like that on an entire buisness when it is most likely due to an underlying condition. Best of luck to this business and it's people, I hope Gloria is okay, and I hope she can spread some positivity on Yelp instead of just complaints.
