I've been coming to Theresa for about a year now and I plan on continuing to come back for as long as she will have me back. I recommend all of my friends to her, especially my friends who love color. Theresa just knows her color theory and I'm always so happy with my hair when she's worked on it. She is honest and knows hair so well. My fiancé also goes to have his hair cut by her too now. The first time he came in, she asked him point blank, "What are you willing to do to your hair every morning? Because there is no point in me giving you the cut that she wants if you aren't willing to put the time into it." and I am so glad that she convinced me not to make him cut his hair the way I wanted. She was right! It might look great when he leaves the salon but he is NOT capable of styling his hair every morning. So she managed to give him a cut that still makes him look handsome but without needing all the effort. For my hair, I'm so in love with my beautiful rose gold hair. I don't know what she does but it's freakin amazing and I'm always so happy after I go to Theresa. My next appointment is coming up so I'll have more photos to upload :D read more

I found Tinge Salon & Theresa in Dec 2016.. I had a bad experience at a big name brand salon and needed help before my husband's company holiday party.. I found Tinge on Yelp and I reached out to Theresa, I had a phone consultation then came in the next day for an in-person consultation/appointment.. She was wonderful - Skip to present time, Sept 2020 and she still doing magical things to my hair! Her counterpart at Tinge, Maria, did my courthouse wedding hair! Theresa has a level of customer service that keeps you coming back.. She is humble, human and up front about everything; she will let you know if a style or color is just not achievable with what you have, rather than giving you anything less than stellar or a bad cut/color.. I used to go to my fav hairstylist in other place, but since she moved far away and has so busy schedule, I was looking for somebody else who can take care of my hair and can help me to bring them to life!! She is very detail oriented and notices when my hair has changed through pregnancy, stress etc. I haven't changed my hair style much over the years, just in length, but she always listens to what I want and never pressures or upsells me. (Usually prebooked appt only) Maria did shampoo conditioner and haircut which was BETTER than expected! The salon was cute & comfortable! The service was great! She listened to what I wanted and did exactly that, if not more! She was knowledgable and professional. Wish I would've taken before and after picture. Theresa knows her Sh*t! I had very bad experience at the Cutting Edge Salon on Prospect (stay away from this place if you want to keep your hair!) The lady (yes lady not hair stylist) there, Cady, fried my hair! She gave me dark hair when I asked for light, gave me really bad highlights when I asked for a BALAYAGE!!! Charged me 3x more than what I was quoted and I left with my hair just crumbling away between my fingers. Yeah All BAD! THERESA CORRECTED EVERYTHING!!!! She gave me an Olaplex treatment to start and it literally undid some damage. My hair is now light and currently kind of an ombre as we needed a base so we don't do more damage. Balayage comes later. I love love love my hair again! She also taught me how to style it and how to take care of it. She is def a guru at what she does. you can see how much she loves what she does and that it's an art for her. She is also a very cool human being.
