I wanted to order a smaller floral arrangement instead of a large funeral spray for a friend's mother's funeral. I was not able to fly to San Jose for the funeral. So I searched yelp for a florist near to the funeral home. Called a few places and all except Tinh Thuong said the flowers would be more expensive than usual due to being close to Mother's Day weekend. And they would charge delivery of $35-$50. They were all within a few blocks from the funeral home too. Some even said they couldn't deliver in the morning. Charging that kind of delivery fee for just a table floral arrangement to a nearby funeral home is pretty high in my opinion. Luckily I found Tinh Thuong Flowers on yelp. They were so nice not to charge me delivery fee because they had several funeral sprays they had to deliver to the funeral home on the same day. But what was also great were the beautiful flowers they put in the arrangement. Without having pictures to order from, I took a leap of faith based on great reviews on Yelp. My fellow Yelpers were right! Tinh Thuong was so nice and put together a pretty floral arrangement. I just Zelled my payment to them and texted all the info, including a personal note for my friend. They delivered on time in the morning before the funeral and sent me photos as proof of the delivery. If I ever need another floral delivery in the San Jose area, I would definitely use them again. I met with their assistant, Lau, who was very friendly and helpful with my request. I paid through Zelle but they accept cash as well. They were able to fulfill and deliver my order within less than a week. I texted the owner a photo from their website of what I'd like for the order. Upon the morning of delivery, the owner texted me photos of the spray in outdoor lighting, and also indoor inside the chapel. Thank you for the amazing service, communication, and quality of flowers. Honestly, I'm very disappointed in the customer service my first time calling this place and they told me that they don't do delivery but the website says they do the guy talks very soft very low barely hear him very rude. Terrible customer service and needs to work on communication with their customers a lot better. He was in the middle of cleaning the floors, but stopped to assist me. He said his boss was out doing a lot of deliveries and picking up flowers. I asked if he could help me make a $60 bouquet and provided him the color scheme I was thinking of. He showed me different flower options then worked his magic! I took a seat while waiting.
