Our Indy Coffee Club came to Mariam Coffee Shop and Boutique in Broad Ripple one Sunday for coffee and conversation. It was a gorgeous coffee shop with a beautiful ambiance, and the pastry display was very impressive with fresh pastries. The service was wonderful and the baristas definitely knew what they were doing making the coffee and lattes. I ordered the lavender matcha iced drink and it was excellent! It hit the spot and definitely satisfied my morning rush. Mariam Coffee is known for their honey Cake, so I did get a slice of honey cake to take home. It was wonderful and moist, and tasted incredible. Mariam Coffee Shop and Boutique is a wonderful hangout in Broad Ripple and a great place to do some work remotely while enjoying a latte or a pastry. Their selection of coffee and special drinks are terrific and perfect for the summertime. Mariam Coffee Shop and Boutique is a great addition to Broad Ripple and would highly recommend everyone come check it out for coffee or pastries because it is worth the price.

Seasonal latte and matcha with an egg and cheese breakfast sandwich

Trendy Turkish coffee shop in Broad Ripple. I was in town for a quick trip and a few coworkers and I decided to meet up here for a few hours to hang out while we got some work done. The greenery wall, neon light, mix of seating, and natural light set the tone wonderfully. I ordered one of their seasonal lattes, but I can't for the life of me remember exactly what it was... just that it was delicious. I also ordered a breakfast sandwich on a croissant. Nothing fancy but it did the trick. The service was friendly, the wifi worked well, and there were outlets to keep our laptops juiced up during our stay. I'll end by sharing that there is a parking garage attached to the back side of the building. It's also walking distance to other restaurants and shops in the area. Nice location, for sure!

Did a search on Google for cool coffee places in Indy and this was one named. I love when places have a website AND online presence on IG. I can tell so much about a place from their media and this one's sold me. On their IG page they mentioned having a craft table for Vday cards and with that my decision was made. Parking was in the structure, 2 dollars for up to 2 hours. The inside was clean, earthy and very inviting. The employees were helpful with recommendations. My oldest tried the Blushing Mocha- a love day special. I tried the traditional Turkish coffee and my youngest got drip coffee with ample cream and sugar. All three of us loved our drinks. Turkish coffee was truly amazing. I love my creamer and sugar so I was really surprised at how much i enjoyed this. The drip coffee was amazing as well. Really good. We also splurged and got the honey cake and the orange cake. Honey cake is a must try. The orange cake was a bit dry. Would be great moist. We really enjoyed the card making area. My sons didn't want to leave until they were finished. We will definitely be back.

I'd previously stopped in to the Mariam Coffee location in Fishers and was a definite fan. So, I knew I wanted to check out this Broad Ripple location when I got the chance. Today, I got the chance. This is one of the ground floor retail spots in the building that houses the parking garage at 62nd and College right across from the Vogue. I like to call it Wellness Way because you have mostly businesses that have some degree of connection to wellness activities. There's no free parking to be found here - you pretty much have to either go a bit south to the residential areas, park in the parking garage, snag a Broad Ripple meter, or use public transportation (the Red Line stops directly in front of the coffeeshop). The curb cuts here are great. There's a single glass doorway that's a bit heavy, but it is manageable. As you enter, you're in a modestly-sized dining room area. There's also a small boutique with mostly fair trade wares. At the back, you order. This is a Turkish coffeehouse. So, expect a focus on Turkish coffee, though there's lots of traditional options. The young woman who was working was super friendly and helpful. I was feeling kind of boring and just wanted to relax with a regular coffee for a bit. There's a strong cultural flavor to the decor. It's warm, inviting, and surprisingly soothing. I think I like this location a bit more than Fishers. There's a few half-booth options, tables, and lots of wood. While some coffeehouses play it simple with decor, not Mariam. This decor makes you want to visit. Mariam Coffee is a fairly new, five years if I understand correctly, coffeehouse. However, it's growing and Mariam Coffee is now reported to be in 16 countries. I'm not sure I'm going to be a regular at this location. Considering I'm a wheelchair user, this is a bit difficult to access. While I do think that difficulty is worth it, I'm much more likely to stop in when I'm parked in Broad Ripple making multiple stops. However, for those with a love for Turkish coffee or who are seeking a less commercial, more communal experience this is definitely worth a visit.

Earlier in the week, I was in the area and saw the shop, so I looked them up. Once I saw their holiday menu, I knew I needed to return. When I came back by, it was a dreary weekday morning, so there weren't any other customers yet and therefore I was able to order immediately. Looking around the place, they do have some tempting looking sweets as well as some merchandise near the counter. There is also plenty of seating if you're in the mood to hang out. The coffee that I picked up was their take on a Gingerbread latte, the ginger 'n spice, which I enjoyed. Overall, it's a good option for a coffee from a local chain if you're in the Broadripple area

    Matcha Latte

This place had a very cozy inside that would be really quiet and nice to study in or do work in. The service was wonderful, everyone was very nice and the menu actually had a lot of options! They had a lot of syrups, drinks, and food as well. I liked the matcha however there were clumps of matcha on top, but it still tasted fine. Overall a good experience.

Talk about customer service! I was greeted as soon as I entered the shop and immediately asked if it was my first time stopping by. I'm sure I had a look of overwhelm on my face as I tried figuring out what to drink! I said that lately I've been ordering the new Dubai chocolate Matcha craze and asked if she could create something similar for me to which she immediately said yes. Plenty of seating and also flavored water that was complimentary. Very easy to have a conversation as only three tables were taken. Second let's talk about presentation! Wow! Served on a small wooden tray, our drinks looked next level! I loved my drink creation! If I'm back in the area then I will remember this experience and be sure to pop in! Also, parking at the nearby garage for two dollars wasn't a bad price.

Great vibe. My matcha was sooooo good. I was honestly surprised. Great customer service too. Clean establishment and bathrooms. I will be back. It's a great work/study place.

Valentines menu special- white mocha with raspberry cold foam
    Jill M.

This coffee shop exceeded my expectations! When I saw the Valentines menu special, I knew I had to try the white mocha with raspberry cold foam. If you are seeing this before Valentine's Day hurry to go get it because it was soooo good! I like that they are open later hours too. So many coffee shops close early in the afternoon, so this is a great place to meet up later! There is a paid parking garage right next to it or I did street parking right on College Ave.

Coffee shop in broad ripple serving up a distinct combination of flavored lattes and pastries with excellent customer service. I had the nutcraker with oatmilk which is an iced butter pecan latte topped with salted caramel cold foam. It was delicious and left me wanting more. I also ordered the honey cake which was not appealing to my taste buds. It was also expensive but I believe that's because it's labor intense to make. It would be great if they offered rotating samples of their pastries so that you could try before you buy.

Dubai Chocolate Bar. Smaller than expected.
    Alex R.

This place is gorgeous inside! Very detailed down to the tables and even the straws! We went to the shop on a Sunday morning and it was surprisingly empty. Lucky for us there was just a short wait for our drinks and plenty of places to sit! Since this is in Broad Ripple, the only downfall is the parking situation. It is in walking distance to many things though! We also tried the Dubai chocolate bar.

I was in the area for an event and wanted some coffee... then I found out The Avenue Coffeehouse had closed. I was disappointed but I found Mariam right across the street and I was like "yes! There's another coffee shop!" And honestly I liked this place more. Luckily there was no one else and it was calm and peaceful inside. There was only one woman working there and she was so friendly, kind and answered my questions. It was not until after I ordered an iced mocha that I learned this place is Turkish and they had Turkish coffee as well. I already have a reason to go back, which is to try it. They also have a lot of beautiful arts and crafts for sale. Furniture and interior were beautiful. Branding was immaculate; there was Mariam logo everywhere... napkins, cups, tables... The coffee was very good and I'm glad this place is serving the Broad Ripple community.

The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable about Turkish coffee. The food was delicious. This was my first time drinking Turkish coffee and it was a good experience! So much so that I purchased a bag of Turkish coffee to enjoy at home.

It can be quite loud so keep that in mind if you want a quieter reflection time, and maybe take it to go or sit outside. They have various food items but I absolutely LOVE their peanut butter energy balls! In fact that is why I came to this location as this is where the magic happens. They make them here and send them to other Tinker locations! They are the perfect blend of savory and a tad sweet and go super well with their coffee and/or London Fog tea. Yum! I will freely admit to buying all they had on hand, and now can enjoy them at home. Yay! It is a very busy spot so not the friendliest of staff, but assumed they were already hassled from the morning. It was a great spot to meet a friend and enjoy the patio and some tea/coffee. I would for sure go back and even bring a friend! In fact I've already mentioned it to several people as a potential meet up spot! Definitely something to enjoy!
