I NEVER would have thought I would have liked black coffee... but this one is SO SO SO Good! The Roaster I talked to at the event is so kind and fun and does just an amazing job roasting to make this coffee so good! Even in my attempts to ask questions and engage, it felt like I was bothering her to place an order. It's a shame because the drip coffee was delightful and I appreciated their high top bar with outlets. I'm a big believer that coffee shops are 50% about coffee and 50% about the experience/feeling of community. I'll visit again and hope for a more warm experience next time.

It is a bit challenging to find parking but there are a few spots in front. I parked down the street and walked which is always an option. There are a few stairs to get in but also a ramp, and the set up has a nice aisle like space for the line and plenty of tables and chairs. It can be quite loud so keep that in mind if you want a quieter reflection time, and maybe take it to go or sit outside. They have various food items but I absolutely LOVE their peanut butter energy balls! In fact that is why I came to this location as this is where the magic happens. They make them here and send them to other Tinker locations! They are the perfect blend of savory and a tad sweet and go super well with their coffee and/or London Fog tea. Yum! I will freely admit to buying all they had on hand, and now can enjoy them at home. Yay! Service was friendly and prompt despite it being a one woman show at the time. Overall, it was a positive experience. They had a handful of outlets which make it convenient for remote work. I think the only thing that was missing was a background music to create more of an atmosphere.

We also splurged and got the honey cake and the orange cake. Honey cake is a must try. The orange cake was a bit dry. Would be great moist. We really enjoyed the card making area. The pies disappear quickly, so you have to get there early for the best selection. Full size pies run $36-$40 dollars and are beautiful. The clerk is friendly and not pushy. They take cards or cash. When it did come out it wasn't our order, so we had to wait additional time. When it finally did come, it was really good.
