Last Friday I stopped by Rivet Coffee Bar & Roastery in Westfield--and it absolutely did not disappoint. I've been before and enjoyed it, but this visit just hit different. I met up with my family for brunch, and we were all in a waffle kind of mood. I ordered the banana granola waffle and it was next-level good! The waffle was perfectly crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and layered with just the right balance of sweetness and texture from the ample amount of bananas, whipped cream, and granola. Paired with a cinnamon maple latte? I was one deep breath away from writing a personal thank-you letter to the hands that prepared that plate! But honestly, one of the best parts of the visit was the energy. The woman running the register was giving full-on main character vibes. You could tell immediately she wasn't just taking orders--she was living the dream. The care. The joy. The way she engaged every single customer. That kind of presence can't be faked. It felt like ownership--even if it wasn't, it carried that level of pride and purpose. The indoor seating is cozy (read: tight but charming), but there's plenty of outdoor seating and as Indiana finally remembers what sunshine feels like, this is going to be the spot. I've passed Rivet before and saw it was a coffeehouse in an actual house. It's SO cute! It's a lot bigger inside than I thought. Tables inside to eat, coffee beans, ground coffee, mugs, tumblers for sale, and a nice little bar that faces the baristas making drinks. They have outdoor seating on a nice wrap around deck. They have a walk up window for carry out orders also. They have a lot of options on their menu. I chose the leige waffle "Belgian waffle" with bananas, granola, caramel, and whipped cream. It was good and they had a lot of other choices that looked like great breakfast options. Rivet is located within walking distance of Grand Junction in Westfield. They were also named "Best Coffee Shop" in Hamilton County for 2025! read more

Adorable little shop with great coffee and tasty sweets. I wouldn't have realized it was anything but a house if I hadn't specifically sought it out. Even then, if you're as unfamiliar with the area as I am, you might end up making a lap like I did before parking and going in. Along with the coffee, I had a gingerbread man cookie and what I guess was a Blondie, and was just labeled "spice." Whatever it was, it quite good. The cashier I had seemed to be in training, but I still got my coffee quickly and correctly, so that's good. I think this place would be great in the summer, as they have space outside that would have looked more pleasant was I not rushing from the cold. read more

Rivet has been a great addition to the neighborhood I live in! The staff is super friendly and helpful even when the entire lobby is filled with customers waiting. I feel as though the syrups are a little lighter in flavor than another shop, ex: Starbucks, but their espresso has great flavor and quality. Rivet has outdoor and indoor seating. I stopped into Rivet in Westfield for the first time and was genuinely impressed. I ordered the Sarah Lee Special and it ended up being the highlight. Everything tasted fresh and the combination of avocado, goat cheese, eggs, and seasoning worked well together. I also had the Angry Gourd latte and it was fantastic. The seasoning was really well balanced and the hint of cayenne made it memorable. My husband ordered the s'mores cold brew and it was fantastic. Smooth, toasted, dessert-like, and exactly the kind of drink you want on a slow morning. Very cool and cute place! We could see them roasting coffee in the garage when we walked up, which was cool. It's in an old converted house so the layout is a little funky and tight inside but there's plenty of spacious seating outdoors. I was on a nice bike ride with my parents the other day, and at the halfway point, we pulled in to Rivet to get some coffee and a bite to give us a boost for the return trip. We grabbed some seats on their welcoming porch, and even on a random weekday afternoon, the place was hoppin' Mom had some sort of honey latte with some local bee pollen sprinkled on the top, which I had a sip of and really enjoyed. I went with a drip coffee, just to mix things up, and it really hit the spot. We also split their liege waffles, one with blueberries and one without, and they just nailed the recipe. The delicious nooks and crannies are perfectly dense and cakey, and perfectly imperfect. The team at Rivet is incredible, and you seem to be encouraged to feel like you are popping over for coffee and a snack. I'll definitely be visiting Rivet again to see what other goodies I can sample. read more

Rivet, noted N Indy's best coffee shop of 2025 did not disappoint. It has been awhile since I've been to this location but so happy I stopped by. They had a mobile window to pick up to-go orders but if you want to order there or on the spot you must go inside. It's a beautiful location and very outgoing staff. It seems small until you realize there's a whole back room of additional seating. The banana bread latte was delicious, not too sweet but hit the spot. They have wonderful company clothing pieces for sale and gorgeous handmade mugs. This is a great place to stop if you're in the area! Such fun seasonal menus, you can't go wrong. read more

I hate having to write this review because I love Rivet and the people but the experience I had this morning was not well received. I ordered a Cold Brew with no ice which is my standard order due to most coffee shops overfilling the cup ice and not giving enough cold brew. Rivet being one of the coffee shops I've been to in the past that was notorious for barely giving me any cold brew because the cup was all ice. I watched the barista today fill my cup with cold brew and then the owner told them to dump it out because they gave me too much. They then proceeded to put an empty cup on a food scale and then poured out a specific amount of cold brew into the cup. When they gave me my cup it was barely half full. It's ridiculous because I paid close to 5 dollars for literally a half cup of cold brew. An unbelievable way to treat a person who comes quite frequently to this coffee shop. read more

Loved this cute coffee shop! It's exactly what I was looking for. Cafe hopping is one of my favorite activities and I much prefer to support local. The 3 baristas greeted me with a friendly smile and were helpful with my order. The coffee was serviced quickly and it came out tasty and strong! This cafe is charming, clean, and welcoming. I stopped by to have lunch and work in between meetings one day and loved it. I wish it was closer to where I live. The sandwich I had was delicious and more filling than I expected. I loved the earl grey iced tea - very refreshing. The servers were always calmly walking around to check on guests and make sure they had everything they needed. At first I thought the menu was a bit pricey for a coffee shop, but once I got the food, I thought the value lined up. They seem to use quality ingredients and take care preparing them well. I loved the shop itself. Great seating options inside, screened in patio, outdoor porch and picnic tables in the grass. They have bike parking and lots of car parking nearby. The coffee was very meh for the price. My coffee, pictured on the left, was one of the specialty St Patty's Day drinks - Pistachio Shakerata. I swear it was just a regular old latte. No foam. Didn't taste any pistachio flavoring. Not to mention, it took forever for my drink to come out. My sister got the matcha pictured on the right. Her drink came out 15-20 minutes before mine. She said it was good quality matcha but she paid extra for pistachio flavoring and couldn't taste any flavoring added. read more

They also have lots of indoor seating. The lobby area for ordering is a bit small. There is a small parking lot available for 4-5 cars and plenty of free street parkong around. They serve breakfast, lunch, coffee and tea. Small menu, but delicious food. I ordered the Hot Lpx which is an open-faced sandwich with salmon, capers, cream cheese and lettuce. It was amazing! This is the BEST coffee place I have ever been to. The selection for specialty drinks was incredible. The food menu is also extensive for breakfast/ lunch items. Seating is a bit limited inside, especially with fall here and temperatures dropping. They have an expansive outdoor deck all around the building and there were heaters to keep things warm outside. We actually really loved sitting outside because we were still warm and had a beautiful view of the colorful leaves. We got a few coffees, one iced caramel macchiato, a pistachio iced latte, waffles with chocolate cream and bananas, the pimento cheese chicken sandwich and the breakfast sandwich. The pimento chicken salad sandwich was one of the best sandwiches I have ever enjoyed. The staff was so exceptionally sweet and great when I asked for recommendations. Rivet had been on my list to visit for some time now and I was excited to go when I had a little time before my nail appointment in Westfield -- shameless plug, H20 is my fav nail salon 5 minutes away. Great nail artists! It appears they have remodeled a home into a quaint, but spacious coffeehouse. I absolutely loved they had dedicated parking right out front (maybe only 5-6 spots though!) AND a ramp for easy access. There may be additional parking on the backside (I only came to the front though so I can't be sure!) or even simple parking along the street. I loved that they had so many cozy spots to sit, work, or meet throughout the place. It also seemed they had an in closed (likely heated also) back patio area which gives it ample seating on busy days or times. I ordered a fruit bowl (fresh and tasty) and initially ordered a Gingerbread Chai, but it wasn't my fav. They use a VERY BOLD Masala chai. I'm actually a Masala Chai girl, but this recipe was different than I've had at places like Prufrock, A Cup of Chai, etc. Personally, it tasted peppery versus spiced. The staff was nice, explained that they have a 'regular' chai that is sweeter, and allowed me to swap to the Cozy Caramel Latte which was very good. This is one of the coffeehouses that only has one size, however. Overall, I'd definitely recommend Rivet as a good spot to pop into if you're in the Westfield area and would like to try a new, local place versus the Starbucks. I love a good coffee spot and found this one close to my best friend's homes. Staff and the owner was friendly during my time at the coffee shop. It can get pretty busy during lunch hour and if you seen the food you would understand. I went for a few hours to get some work done. Sat in the back room, which was cozy. The currently vibes are Christmas spirit which I loved. Also easy access to self serve water while is great. I grabbed a chai with shot of expresso. 10 out of 10. Avocado toast was a 8 out of 10 because there's a layer of cream cheese beneath the avocado and for me I didn't like the mixture. However the drizzle and the topping were delicious. Next time I'll probably just order the avocado toast without the layer of cream cheese. While I was there they were taking professional photos of their drinks and now I want to try them all. Next time I'll probably try the lunch because the salad that we're going to tables looks delicious. read more

This place is adorable! I've driven by it several times! It had some parking in front and street parking on side as well. It was an overcast day, but we decided to sit outside. They gave us a little number card and brought our drinks so us. I ordered the latte miel with almond milk. It was the perfect drink! Always love a visit to Rivet in Westfield! This is a lovely spot to enjoy some tasty drinks and foods! Cannot go wrong and the service is great. You might find you'll wait in line for a few not too long but it's worth it and it's a sign you're in the right place for a good coffee, latte or whatever suits your fancy. We sat on the patio with heaters on and it was comfortable as it's enclosed for the winter with heavy duty plastic. Rivet is one of my favorite places to go! Love the owner too! Maybe you'll get to visit when they are roasting the beans in the attached garage, love the fragrance of the roasting beans! I had a mocha strawberry cold brew made into a latte which was stellar and the hot lox (can never go wrong with this...so delish with just the right mix of flavors). My friends had the maple cinnamon hot latte and Kickin hot latte (which has a hint of cayenne). I've been there about 7 or 8 times and the coffee is unique, but leaves a strange taste. It isn't named after Rosie the Rivetter, but the art features mainly women, and the store is staffed by mostly women. The manager has a bad attitude and they don't do coffee refills when major chains like Starbucks or Dunkin' Donuts do. It is about as expensive as Starbucks coffee, but taste comparable. For the ambience, I liked it initially because it was simple and independent, but consider the featured art to be uninspired, and the music for the ambience typical of most places, generic and nostalgic and loud.
