I realize a simple avocado toast isn't always exciting and honestly, I wasn't expecting much given my experiences here in the past - but I was starving and this was the closest "real" food to me. The bread was this weird mix of stale and soggy with impossibly tough crust (I'm guessing due to the stale?) and the avocado, while green, had that unique taste of an avocado that's a solid day past its prime. My guess is they mash them up and treat them with lemon or lime juice to keep them green. This definitely wasn't fresh avocado. Sadly. Not related to the food - the toast came in the box shown here but also a giant bag with several forks and knives and napkins. Like they felt a family of four was going to eat this?
