Today, my brother try to have his pants tailored and was told that he would have to be charged double the price based on the namebrand when he tried speaking to the owner and explaining, what's the difference between bringing in namebrand pants versus Walmart pants on the pricing, the owner said that it was up to his discretion and that he could take the business elsewhere without even trying to explain the reason on getting double charged for taking 1 inch off of his pants. The owner is very rude and laughed and said that the business could be taken elsewhere. He has very poor customer service skills and has price gouge based on namebrand pants all my brothers just trying have his pants adjusted due to us losing a loved one and getting them ready for a funeral. I am in complete discussed with this company and do not appreciate the price gouging that the owner seem to have no remorse or care especially during this difficult time in our family. Thank goodness for the lady down the street who is willing to not only Taylor the pants but give him a price based on what he's needing and not looking at the label on like this owner I definitely recommend taking your business elsewhere! read more

Another service that you have to track down as soon as you move into an area is a reliable tailor. I found Tino's place which is minutes from my house. I needed a few pair of jeans hemmed. I called to confirm the price and it was $7 per pair and it takes about 2 days. I was comfortable with that price. I dropped them off and came back and sure enough they were taken care of as promised. My brother in law had some pants altered to make them skinnier, and it cost $24, which was kind of pricey, but at least the work was good. read more

I took it over to Tino's thinking it was kind of a odd request to take the whole thing down a few sizes. It took about a day a half which was pretty quick seeing how i wasn't in a rush. Thanks to yelp, I found a new tailor! I'm in the Pearland area and I have plenty of shops to choose from, and I have tried a few but this place is the best! A few days before Halloween, I took my sons costume to Tino the tailor, and needed his outfit completely altered. I don't know what's all the good reviews , I went for that reason and it was the worst mistake , I took him some Miss Me Jeans that were too long on me , I told him I wear them with boots, I took the boots to try them on while he was getting me fitted , comes out when I pick them up and wear them , they look like high waters ! Really I took the damm boots so you can do your job ! I can't wear them with anything because they don't look good !
