The staff are professional, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to speak with. Extra time and care was taken to be sure my M3's new tint was installed correctly. I appreciate the attention to detail and perfectionist attitude to the work. They use good product and can explain differences for the customer to choose. I am recommending them to other friends who want windows tinted. I already receive many looks and compliments. The only downside is Massachusetts State Law limiting the tint to 35% because darker windows would look so much better. Tint King should lobby the State gov't! read more

I have had my last 4 cars windows tinted at Tint King. Every single window has been flawless. I have never had an issue with the tint. The tint kept the window mostly in tact on my 1998 Ford Expedition when someone smashed it and broke in, which kept clean up to a minimum. I recently got a Ford Taurus SHO which I will be bringing to Tint King. I have referred many friends to Tint King and all their vehicles have come out awesome. They have all been back to Tint King as they got new vehicles. The service and wait time is excellent. I highly recommend Tint King for all you tinting needs. Purchased an Audi in Burlington and drove it straight to TK to match the factory rear windows. Found via Yelp and the reviews are spot on- great work, flexible options for types of tint and good in explaining the differences to the customer. The match was perfect, the work was great. You can choose to wait upstairs or walk over to the deli/packie and grab a snack. And I was at TK while they were working on Shaun's Subaru, and watched the application- very cool! read more

I wanted to get my Lexus tinted and I decided to give this place a try based on good reviews. I went there on a Saturday and they had no problem squeezing me in even though they were very busy. I had to wait a couple of hours but they got it done the same day. =) The tint had some bubbles but most disappeared over time. Some of them, however, never did. After closer inspection I noticed that dirt in between the windows and the film was the problem. So I called them back about the issues and they told me to just bring the car in. They told me I had to bring the car in during the week because they do not do warranty work on the weekend. Okay...that's was a major inconvenience because I needed my car for work. On my second visit, Brian acknowledge the problems, told me my car was pretty hard to tint and that the front door panels had to be taken off to do it properly. (I don't think they took them off the first time.) After 3 hours, they re-tinted all six windows on the doors, and I was on my way. So far the new tint is looking great, no more bubbles and definitely much better than the first time. Great customer service, I would recommend this place to anyone! read more

I love this place. I had them apply Huper Optik tint all around on my Camaro SS and it came out fantastic. I've had other cars tinted in Lowell, and maybe saved a few bucks, but nothing compared to the quality of the film or the install I received at Tint King. It's been on for over 2 years, and still looks like new. I also work in the car business, so on several occasions I've also brought clients cars to them to have tint either installed or removed. They've done a great job for my customers. In one instance I had a car that came to me with a shoddy rear install (obviously not from Tint King), and I needed it removed professionally without damaging the defrost lines. They did a great job with this too. I've usually hung out while they do the work- and they're proud to give you a tour of the shop, have a comfortable waiting area, and there's a bar/restaurant across the street if you need to kill time. Recently brought my a second car to the Tint King after Tim provided me with a quote via email. I was there early when they opened. Randy brought the car right in, showed me the product options and got to work. I was able to work upstairs in their comfortable waiting area, I had access to wifi. Within less than 1.5 hours they let me know that the work was complete, the cost was in accordance with the quote and I was on my way. It's everything you want in an operation like this and more. These guys are awesome! I got legal ceramic tint on my mustang and it looks great. I even got a free upgraded nano-ceramic film because the guy thought it'd look better on my car. I had a wonderful experience at Tint King. They tinted my windows and waterproofed my windshield. Not only were they incredibly fast, but they were really cool people. The walls were lined with artwork personally crafted by the staff, they have a flat screen in their waiting area, and they are hilarious. I was also really impressed to hear some of the famous homes they've tinted-- These guys are flown across country for tinting. Seriously, we are lucky to have them in our area. These guys are the best at what they do. They are very professional and detailed. They are friendly and good business people. They offer only the best products, some of which you cant find anywhere else nearby. The have the world's best tinter (he won the competition). There are always high profile expensive cars in there getting tinted, so if you have a nice car, or a new car, or a car you truly care about i would not take it anywhere but here to get it tinted. This is the first car i have had tinted and these guys were great about explaining pricing and the different tint brands/models they offer. Being able to see the tint on other cars ahead of me I went with the FormulaOne Pinnacle tint which is their top of the line tint and it was a reasonable price for a 4 door. The guy stayed WELL after business hours to finish my tint because he told me he could fit me in, very professional and i appreciate him honoring his word. (some places would have just said, "sorry come back another day"). I didn't have an appointment so i didn't mind waiting for a time when he could do my car, and i met some awesome people in the waiting room. Great experience. All the tint is laser cut and these guys know all the ins and outs of tinting just about any and every car on the road. with something like 50,000+ cars tinted in their careers why take your car somewhere else? This place came highly recommended from a home owner who had his house windows tinted and two vehicles as well so I figured, why not? I'm glad I did as Brian did an excellent job on my 2010 Mazda 5. He was able to take me in on a Saturday as a walk-in and despite being pretty booked the whole day he took great care on my vehicle and I was able to get it about 6 hours later. For $250 he tinted all my driver and passenger windows as well as my rear windshield. No bubbles or streaking and the tints almost looked like they came as part of the car. Several months later I was hit on my drivers side window and thanks to the tints I was saved from being covered in pieces of glass! No joke, these tints were worth every penny for keeping the sun out, increased privacy, and safety! I was so pleased with the work that after getting my door repaired I took my car back here and had my drivers door re-tinted. I also had my rear window re-tinted due to rips from unruly passengers as well as added a front windshield tint strip. Again i dropped my car early at 9 AM and this time Randy took care of the work and did a top notch job and took about 4 hours. The price came to a reasonable $194. Definitely impressed with the work this place does given how low key this place is behind a building and they only have enough space to do two cars at a time. Still they're doing something right to have a full day of work on a Saturday. Both Brian as well as Randy know their tints and are very knowledgeable in what they do. Another nice thing about this place is a very cozy waiting area for those who don't mind sitting around. I sat I there my first tinting job having to wait a few extra minutes for the work to be done. I bought a new Camaro a few months ago, and loved it but new a bit of tint could really make it something nice on the eyes (inside and out). But most of the places I looked at priced me a bit high for my budget. Tint King offered me a great price - almost too good to be true. I thought it was cheap, or I was going to get left over scrap or something. I was totally wrong. My friend went a day before I did to tint his Monte Carlo and it looked great, I took mine in the very next morning, and I'm very happy with the decision. There were a few minor bubbles upon pick up, but Brian explained that I should leave the windows up and preferably in direct sunlight for about 24 hours. A little over 24 hours (48ish) later no bubbles, and looks great. Car was in by 9am and out by noon. He said he finished before that, but it was the earliest I could pick up the car. :-) Now, if only he sold and installed rims! Went there after buying a Yelp Deal to have a window that was previously tinted fixed (bought the car used). The first time I called, I was told to come in when the place opened, and I would be taken in, I ended up getting there a little early, and am I glad I did. I waited upstairs for the car to be done, took about 1.5 hrs, since there was another car getting done, but when I left, there was a line of cars to the road. The next day, after everything had dried and settled, I noticed a small rip in tint. I called up, and was told to come in in the morning again. The same thing as before pretty much happend. Luckily they got me in and out a little quicker. The guy who came to look at the rip and bring the car in said it probably happend when they put the tint on, sometime it sticks together, and when its pull apart it can rip. Obviously from the amount of people waiting outside, they do a good job. I haven't had any problems with the tint, and its been a few months now. read more

I decided have my 2017 Tacoma Access cab with sliding rear window tinted and after much research, I went with Tint King. On July 21, 2018, I drove 1.5 hours on a Saturday AM from Gilford, NH because of the mostly great reviews, and after a recommendation from a friend that has had multiple vehicles tinted over the years. I had an appointment and Initial tint service was prompt and the staff friendly, and windows were complete in under an hour. This is where it started to go south. I had my windows tinted with LLumar CTX mass legal limits. As I returned home after the 1.5 hour drive, I noticed that the rear windows (all 5 because of sliding window) were peeling significantly. I immediately called the shop back to let them know. I spoke with Natalia and mentioned that I could not come back today, and would need to return next weekend. I was told that I would need to come back during the week since the fix would take multiple hours and weekends were too busy for them, and that I could schedule another time during the week. Frustrated, I decide to hang up and look at my schedule to see if I could make it work. I have had vehicles tinted before and I understand that it is not perfect, there is a tolerance for bubbles, dust, etc. After looking at my schedule and realizing I would need to take off work or plan to work in Billerica for the day, I e-mailed Brian directly to explain that I would be able to come in during the week if he could furnish a loaner car to help me fulfill a few work stops happening in the area. I also explained the issues with my car tint. He e-mailed back asking to see photos to understand what was happening. I sent photos and called him back and he agreed that it needed to be replaced... He said I could come in during the week and that he would indeed provide a loaner car. My follow up/fix appointment was on Thursday, August 9th at 9am. I arrived early to miss the traffic and was met with one of his friendly staff. I mentioned that I would drop off my truck and grab the loaner Brian promised. The younger gentleman had absolutely no clue what I was talking about. I started to voice my frustration with the entire process and that I had to return in the first place because of a quickly and poorly done job. Not only that, but the work meetings that I had planned for that morning I would have to cancel, because they did not have the promised vehicle to use. The younger gentleman took my keys and I went upstairs to talk with Remy. I explained the situation and she understood my frustration-so I appreciated that. However, all of his employees response to my complaints and poor service were the same, "That's just Brian, he doesn't always tell us everything and you aren't the first person that he's done this to. We see this a lot" I mentioned that I would not be recommending anyone to his shop, nor would I return with any additional vehicles to have done. While I understand mistakes happen and my tint needed to be repaired, the customer service from Brian is substandard, and his employees recognize it. As I was cancelling my work visits, Remy offered for me to use her personal car, but it might be sketchy because she had CT plates. I told her not to worry, and that I would figure it out, but ultimately I would like to know when Brian will be in so that I can speak with him. She mentioned that he might be in before my truck is fixed. Sensing my extreme frustration with the situation, Remy had the crew work very quickly to get my truck completed and done well. I appreciated that. Within 1.5 hrs of arriving my truck was done. Completed before Brian showed up to work, I asked her to politely have him call me because I would like to talk with him. He never called back, and I've called the shop 3 times trying to talk with him. Long story short, his work is OK, his customer service and commitment to his work is atrocious. I wish I felt bad leaving this constructive review, but since I feel like the only way to get through to him was to let potential customers know his ethics and practices-that even his employees are aware of. read more

After some research and reading reviews, I decided to go with Tint King. Called and talked to Brian, scheduled a time and got solid customer service along the way. I brought my car in and hungout in the waiting room which is comfy and has cable TV which made waiting easy. They said it would take around an hour to get my 2008 9-3 tinted and they were right on schedule. After waiting about a month, I am still fully satisfied with the job they did. They did a quality professional job for a pretty good price and my car looks sick. The bubbles/waves went away after a week or so as the staff mentioned. The tint job looks great. Would definitely go back to them and will certainly recommend them in the future as I am very happy with the results! read more

With the sun burning my arm on the driver's side window, even through a shirt, I needed something to resolve the issue. The dealer where I purchased my 2010 Toyota Corolla said they send all their customers to Tint King and they come highly recommended. After researching their website, speaking with Brian on the phone, and making an appt. to visit and see the product and process, I chose the almost clear colored ceramic tint. Brian was very affable and professional in explaining the different options and benefits, and I am extremely happy with the choice I made. I can wear my sunglasses while driving and still see clearly out of the side and rear windows, and no more arm burning! And the 49% heat reduction inside the car is noticeable too. POOR MANAGEMENT/DISHONEST Walls Ford in Salisbury MA is not a reliable place to buy a car. I called at 1pm today and talked to the sales manager David Friedman who told me a particular truck was available I made an appointment to look at the truck at 4pm that same afternoon. I got to the dealership at 3:45pm and was greeted by David and he said the truck was available and that another sales person would show me the car and take me for a drive in it. We took it for a drive, talked about the car and sat down to talk about purchasing it. Initially I asked if there was any way I could hold it by putting down a deposit so I could have it looked at tomorrow and they said that wasn't possible - they don't normally take deposits and couldn't hold it for me. I said ok I will buy it (full asking price) and I started filling out the paperwork. 15 minutes later I was told to stop filling the paperwork out because the truck was being sold to someone who had shown interest in it two days prior but had to "figure out some numbers". This person was not at the dealership, he just called on the phone and said he wanted it. After trying to plead my case, Mr. Friedman repeatedly said it was a "miscommunication" even though he was the one who had greeted me and told me the truck was available. read more

I had a great experience a few years ago when they tinted my car. It was perfect, defect-free, and stayed like that for years... Then I got the car crashed, bought the same year/model as a donor and swapped "the chassis". Even 3 out of 5 doors were swapped old ones, with the tint. I got the car to Tint King again, because of my past experience, and paid $690 to tint it all around with the most expensive tint they had. It turned out pretty bad: all 5 windows have dust particles trapped inside, rear window started to peel right away. I came there once again to get it fixed, they did very little to fix their crappy job. However this time the guy talked to me inappropriately. You want to be nice to customers if you want to be in a business. I was told the reason of crappy job is my old car: it is full of dust and dirt. Hmm... I thought, a clean room and careful preparation is the key in tinting. I did remove the old "donor" tint from two windows myself before the first visit, and these two windows look far better then the ones they "cleaned": at least they don't have spots of glue residue under the new tint. The company as good as people who work there. It turned out that the guy who did a very nice job years ago and who was taking pride in what he 's doing is no longer with Tint King. New staff said: "We never do perfect". Might put that as a motto on their web site. Stay away. read more
