I'm extremely upset and disappointed, I got my first tatto here in 2022 which was a great tatto so I decided to come back this past December 2024 for a color fill up of a lotus flower tatto I had and my back is basically ruined, the colors do not cover anything and they are extremely un-even. The owner of the shop himself did it witch gave me such a high expectancy before paying and it was just disappointing because as I was explaining what I wanted, he was just extremely distracted and joking around with his co-worker. Anyways, I shared with him that I'm extremely upset about the result and he just mentioned that There's NO REFUNDS and that I will look better when it heals, I knew I didn't like the results. Now it's healed and it's the worse tatto I ever had. I'm sad and currently looking a laser tatto removal options which may cost me a lot of money.

I got my earlobes pierced four weeks ago by Max. It was my very first piercing, so I went in feeling anxious and scared. Max was extremely helpful and patient, and he carefully explained to me the process. He was thorough, gentle, and always made sure to give me a heads up before doing anything. He also made sure to fully sanitize any equipment he used, and he let me know that the earrings are made of surgical grade stainless steel. Unlike my expectations, there was minimal pain and everything went smoothly! Max made sure to explain to me all the aftercare tips, and he was very attentive to my questions/concerns. Thanks to Max, my first piercing experience was exceptional! After four weeks, I noticed something weird about the earrings I had which was irritating my ears. I went back and spoke with Max, and he was so helpful and attentively listened to my concerns. Without hesitation, he went ahead and switched my earrings to a new set. I loved both of my experiences with Max. I love that he is always willing to help and is ready take responsibility for anything (earring malfunction is supplier's fault, not his). Not only is he professional and attentive, he is extremely good at what he does! I would totally recommend Tinta Rebelde to anyone I know, especially for first timers. Thank you, Max, for your amazing service! I also can't forget to mention how cute their store puppers are!

Decided to drop in today and get a tattoo it was the best decision I made. The artist did a fantastic job, the line work and shadowing are superb, and he was incredibly nice. For as detailed as my tattoo is, he was quick and made sure I was comfortable. Definitely will be booking him in the future. Came here on a whim during my lunch break while serving Jury Duty. Been wanting to get a cartilage piercing for a while now but was scared off with a horrible experience that I had at Jul Head that left me with a terrible infection and a permanent ear defect. But I decided to bite the bullet. Walked in around 1pm and they told me the cartilage piercing was $30 including the jewelry. After showing my id and signing the consent forms they took me to the back room where they marked my left ear with a marker. I didn't have a hair tie and they were kind enough to give me a new one so I could tie my hair back. My piercer kept marking and adjusting the placement until I was satisfied and was very thorough in making sure that I liked where it was before piercing it. The actual piercing didn't hurt too bad, probably a 4/10 pain wise. It was pretty quick, most of the time was spent adjusting the mark. After the piercing, I bought a wound care spray for $6, which I definitely think was worth it. It's very convenient and cheaper than online. It's super convenient because it's a spray, best piercing solution I've ever used. Overall I definitely recommend this place for piercings!!

My 4 siblings and I walked in to get nose and ear piercings and they were able to get all of us in and out in under an hour. Tess handled all the piercings and he did an excellent job. Went in to get both my traguses (tragusi?) pierced. Yea it hurt, but that was to be expected, but the tattoo artist TES who did it had steady hands and was quick, so the pain was I'm sure minimal. It's now day 6 and it's healing beautifully. After care instruction was thorough. For those who want cartilage piercing, I recommend having it done one side at a time if you like sleeping on your side. haha

I had a decent experience but felt like the staff could have educated me more on my surface tragus piercing. They used outdated jewelry that is banned in other states and did not properly educate me on the rate of rejection for the piercing. I understand that what a person wants a person should be able to get but I also feel strongly about it being the professionals job to make a customer aware of any pros/cons about the piercing and use the correct jewelry. read more

I visited Tinta Rebelde with a friend on a Sunday evening. We called ahead of time to ask if they were taking walk-ins and they told us to come right in. I got my rook ($60) pierced by Tes and my friend got her second lobes and a double helix ($40 each so $160) pierced by Boots. They were both friendly and made the experience comfortable, quick, and (almost) painless. It's only been a day since I got my rook pierced so I can't speak on healing but as of right now, I like how it looks and I would return for another piercing. read more

One of my double piercings on my earlobe closed unexpectedly the other day when I was trying to put in my earrings and go to work. I wanted to get it redone ASAP. I sent an email and was able to go the same day after work. Alex was very professional and even checked to make sure that the piercing was actually closed from the back despite the front part seeming normal. It was :( but! It was quick and mostly painless. I had been wanting my nipples pierced for quite some time now but just never could mustard up the courage to do so.... until this past weekend in LA!!! The vibe was right and I felt I could get them pierced out of town! (Why not!?) I found this tattoo shop and saw it had 5 stars across so I knew I'll go there! My piercer was Emilio!!!! His voice was so calming and soothing!!! I was super nervous as it was but once hearing him gave me piece of mind. He took no time to pierce them for me and was so very professional!!! I had a helix piercing that I wanted to remove but I couldn't do it because of my nails. I called Tinta Rebelde, the guy on the phone was friendly & answered all my questions they offer jewelry removal for $20 dollars, they sit you down in what looks to be a pretty sanitary environment & walk you through & explaining everything step by step. Over all the piercing experience was great the guy at the front desk that does the piercings, helped me out, beginning to end, super friendly. I did encounter some issue with a female artist, when she screamed "come do your job" DURING MY APPOINTMENT and The piercer, Emilio, whose name i found out because she was degrading him in a very nonprofessional way pretty loudly, had to excuse himself. Over the time, i heard her practically yelling & crying that everyone was being mean to her when there was more than just the piercer, Emilio, to record something for her. she escalated the situation and practically had every customer and coworker drowning in her meltdown, not cool read more

Went with my friend to get piercings today! It was a quick walk-in, and we were helped right away. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful as well. Would definitely recommend this place to others! Place is cash only, but they do have an ATM inside! $25 for piercings + $10 for hoops. Gold is extra. It's difficult to park in the area in general. On Sundays and holidays, metered/street parking is free. read more

I got four piercings at this shop - three in August (second lobes and a helix) and one in September (septum). Both times, TES was very reassuring. He's clearly great at his job: all of my piercings healed perfectly, with the exception of my helix which is still healing, but cartilage piercings take a while to heal so that's expected. Even so, the helix piercing never gives me any trouble. TES is a professional. Prior to getting pierced, he thoroughly answered all of my questions (and I had many, as I LOVE to do research before going in for something, but he didn't seem to mind, and even encouraged me). The process was quick and painless. He also made sure that no blood (let's face it, all fresh piercings bleed a little) got on my hijab when I was getting pierced, which I really appreciated. After my piercing, I was given care instructions and a recommendation to purchase sterile saline spray. They sell NeilMed saline solution for $6, which is very affordable. I prefer the mist nozzle of the NeilMed over the stream nozzle on saline sprays from the pharmacy. The shop has a really fun vibe, and the other artists working there were very nice. I booked my appointment through Yelp's messaging system, and received a response within minutes. Tinta Rebelde is a hidden gem in the heart of DTLA. I'm already planning to get more piercings here soon! read more

I have been getting tattooed for 21 years, sometimes near, sometimes far. Some of my favorite tattoos have been done here. Rockabilly Ray is a tremendous talent and someone who's humility and work ethic speak volumes about his reverence for tattooing. The shop is professional, sterile, comfortable, courteous and welcoming. No uptight egos here. No tuff guy bullshit either. Everyone who works at tinta is super personable, and easy to have a conversation with even if you've never been tattooed. I'm a big fan of this shop's custom work as well as the amazing flash designs ready for skin. Do yourself a favor and get a tattoo that you'll be proud to wear. Highly recommended!!! read more

I give the artist Megan Castro a 5 star review! I treated my daughter for a tattoo, mind you we've been planning this for some time with the artist. We were super excited to go on our mother daughter outing (tattoo first then dinner lol) Megan did an amazing job HIGHLY RECOMMEND her work. Now for the 3 star review, unfortunately the overall atmosphere wasn't the greatest and I won't be returning for the work I wanted done on my arm. It was obvious the manager Emilio isn't a big fan of the artist (sad) because he didn't want to record her session to post it online. He had some snarky remark saying he was busy running the shop ‍. This made the artist visibly upset and they exchanged some words in front of us which was very uncomfortable. Ultimately it made us feel that what my daughter chose to get tattooed was not worthy of the manger to want to post to their page.. As a manager myself we should never ever make the customers uncomfortable. I don't know if it's a tattoo shop environment but it seemed a bit toxic and just not welcoming! Went in because my nose ring fell out at work, came in as soon as I left to replace my hoop and have the professional put it on. Was quoted 10 for the hoop and 10 for the service. Well piercer couldn't get the ring in my nose said I had to wait to heal because it bled earlier in the day.. Why did I have to pay a service charge for a service you couldn't complete? What service? I'm fine paying for the jewelry due to contamination but damn the nerve to charge for a service that never got done. Never again coming here /: Vibe was weird in the shop too. read more

I definitely recommend this place they are all very nice and sweet. The moment I walked in for my tattoo appointment they made sure If I was okay. My tattoo artist was Alex and he made sure I was good the whole time . i want to start off by saying if you visit the shop request a tattoo from Megan! she is the absolute sweetest and puts so much time and care to her clients! I would have given this shop a 5 stars if it wasn't for an incident that occurred during my session. during the session Megan requested for Emilio, the guy at the front to post a video for social media. It was a very uncomfortable situation when Emilio seemed reluctant to do it after the artist asked several times. When Emilio finally came out to take the video he has a lot of additive and took like a 5 second video while stating that he's trying to run a shop? I really felt devalued as a client, it kinda dampened the mood almost the rest of the session. Megan afterwards tried her best to make me feel comfortable and apologized all throughout the session for the uncomfortable situation. Thank you Megan! Only reason I would come back is for you. I love my tattoo! read more

Went in to ask how much a small tattoo was, the artist didn't even speak English..the man translating for him was rude af. The price was too high for me so I nicely declined and the translator got offended and told us to try the swap meet lmao try having workers who speak English and humble yourself! Anyway thankfully this happened, I ended up paying the amount I had in mind at a shop up the street for the same tattoo this place was literally trying to charge triple for!! read more

Called before coming in and they provided pricing information ( price includes piercing and jewelry). Easy to talk to people, answered all my questions about Navel piercings. I appreciate the time they took to ensure the piercing would be in the right place. Paid $60 for the piercing and $10 for a cleaning solution. read more

Came in for a nose piercing ($40) they only accept Cash so come with cash ready, they had an ATM lucky me :-) . All the staff there was super friendly , the atmosphere was great too .The dude who did my piercing was very gentle and process was pretty quick. They give you their business card and another one with instructions for the healing process at the end & go through the steps with you, they also ASK IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS so if you have questions or concerns don't be shy to ask Lol . Will definitely come back for another piercing . Great hospitality ! read more

still save ur money it's almost a year later got my tongue re-pierced at a different shop and guess what ??!! the bar wasn't extremely long like the one they put when i got it pierced here. it healed perfectly and the pain was 0/10. like i said i couldn't close my mouth properly at all. i was in so much pain i couldn't talk and i kept drooling everywhere because i couldn't keep my mouth closed. not to mention the bar would get stuck on my teeth if i tried to talk or eat. i have a high pain tolerance but i had to take it out because of how much it hurt and how scared i was of chipping my tooth. the bar i got pierced with recently was long enough to allow room for swelling but still allowed me to close my mouth comfortably !!!! read more

This restaurant is set in the Hauser and Wirth art Gallery complex and since we got there early we toured the front gallery with an incredible assist from a docent named Michael who pointed out the most incredible pieces and steered us to the gallery at the back of the complex behind Manuela's. Both galleries are worth exploring. THE GENERATIVE UNIVERSE In the main gallery, there was an exhibition of one artist work: Keith Tyson. His work begins from the belief that the universe operates as a single generative system--a continuously shifting causal network in which forms arise, transform and dissolve. Originally trained as an engineer, Tyson was an early practitioner of generative art, often approaching artmaking through the logic of systems and natural processes, allowing a blend of chance, material behavior, mathematics and intuition to shape the outcome. The work was thought provoking and with the help of Michael the docent/guard, we learned the importance of the work moving from the natural world to the blend with technology to the technological.

However, on the Time Out website I read that there would be free ice cream and biscuits and the courtyard looked amazing, so I finally decided to go. As an Angeleno my first concern is always parking. I read from previous reviewers that you could pay for valet for the onsite restaurant, Manuela, but when I looked at the menu it looked a bit expensive, so I didn't want to do that. Then I read another reviewer say they found street parking on Hewitt, but when I saw a parking enforcement car there it made me worried, so I ultimately settled on a $5 per hour lot where you could pay by text, which turned out the best since I could extend my stay through my phone when I decided to stay longer. They do trick you though because they'll open up other windows, so you have to make sure you're on the right window where you can extend, not pay for a new session altogether. The old flour mill is beautifully renovated. The exterior alone makes it look brand new. Walking in there's a long hall that leads to the amazing courtyard, but along the way you'll see exhibit rooms and a bookstore. In total I saw 2 big exhibit rooms, 1 small exhibit room, a screening room, a bookstore, and another garden off to the side in addition to the courtyard in the middle. The vibe was casual with people bringing their children and dogs, there was a live band playing salsa music, and a taco truck across the street where I bought my lunch then ate it at the courtyard which has tables and benches. As for the art itself, watching the screenings really does help because then you know what you're looking at. Like one of the pieces was a sculpture of monstrous faces on a marble pedestal. The artist explained that he saw eyes wherever there was a dot in the marble which inspired the faces on the sculpture. Since I didn't want to leave in the middle of the films or the live conversations with the artists themselves, I ended up missing out on the free ice cream, which sucked, but now I'm planning to visit Watts Towers in the future because of the film and panel afterward. It really is a nice space to visit even though I'm not a fan of modern art. At the very least this festival helped me understand some of it a little bit more.

Currently they are preparing for an installation which promises to be really cool. There were two guys setting up the installation and they let us in. They were not art snobs and that's a plus! The installation is comprised of interactive works of art. There are handles which you turn that makes the works of art come alive. This particular installation was pretty humorous in a provocative way in my opinion. The Box usually has very provocative art. Perhaps it is the gallery with the most controversial art in the whole CAD! The box has a pretty storefront. Parking nearby is $5 and up but if you are willing to walk a couple of blocks you can park for free in a little residential area to the north by Pho 87.

It was fun to interact with other students from all walks of life and with Lili, Miho, Tom, Derlin, others who came into share their knowledge and skill. Lili has a great sense of humor, fantastic stories, and provides good guidance and information. She was also flexible with access to the studio for project work when work or personal schedules didn't align with class sessions. You do need to buy your materials, so it is a good idea to understand that cost so you can design and create the project you want. The final class art exhibit was alot of fun. The variety in the projects created was amazing. Great experience and so cool to work in a space filled with neon light! Loved my finish piece "Love Bulb Glow" Neon with LED on Mirrored Aluminum by Petrina Gooch. I will post a pic.

Came here for the Ryoko Kui "Dungeon Meshi: Delicious in Dungeon" pop up. I do a panel at anime…read moreconventions called "Food Reviewing Dungeon Meshi" where I analyze and review the dungeon floors from the series along with the monsters and dishes they cook, then give real life recommendations to where you can find these dishes in SoCal, so I HAD TO GO HERE. And you know, bring my past Yelpies awards so I can do what my boyfriend calls, "grosshikatsu". We got tickets beforehand online via Eventbrite. I suppose for more busier days, you have a time slot you book and enter. By the time we went, they were sadly already out of commemorative dishes. Also unfortunately, I had no idea that they had a stamp rally with Kinokuniya (would have been nice if there were signs or it was much more publicized -- actually, even when we went to Kino after, they were already out of the stamp cards), but after the kindness of the staff and some convincing and us dying from the heat, they understood our situation. Parking is awful as many such Little Tokyo cases are, but even more so during the weekend and during some events going on in the area, so either be ready to circle around or pay up and make the walking journey here. Getting in is easy, staff scan your QR code ticket and you get a free random post card. One side of the gallery was Ryoko Kui's other works with art drafts, sketches, some translated manga panels, information and background to her works, very nice if you're not familiar with her doujinshi or works outside of Dungeon Meshi. The other side of the gallery was all Dungeon Meshi. You are not allowed to take or record photos of the TV's showing the anime, but everything else seemed to be fair game. The gallery showed various art from scenes in the series and other standalone art of the characters in the world of Dungeon Meshi, the original and final cover art for the manga volumes, a written interview with Ryoko Kui, and much more. Afterwards was the real treat of the visit, all of the photo ops from the animated series, including replicas of the dishes from the series as well as the information of the monsters that were used for the said dishes. PERFECT MATERIAL FOR MY PANEL MIND YOU. Great for photo ops, I loved the color, attention to detail, the 3D aspects of seeing the dishes in front of you, and the detailed back drop and information for the dishes too (like floor 1 hot pot having the scorpion and mushroom cut outs), seeing the walking armor, love the frog photo op and much more. It only covers season 1 of the anime, but, again, perfect for the panel that I host and makes me even more excited for season 2. After the photo op area, there are some cut outs and food models for the concept art of the exhibit itself. Crazy to see that I'm taller than Marcille and my height in comparison to the main cast. Then of course, there's the gift shop at the end. Bonus goods if you spend more than $25, if you share on SNS, and sadly, of course things were already sold out. Solid visit and worth going out of our way to visit (I mean we're obviously otaku too, so kill 2 birds 1 stone in Little Tokyo), and definitely if you are a fan of the series, a foodie, or BOTH like me! NOTE: Since the pop up is in the summer, it gets SUPER hot in this art space. I don't think there's really strong AC in here so lots of fans on the ground and you will get warm. RIP to the cosplayers I saw here.

After the Grammy Museum which is in the Staples-Crypto Center/LA Live area that kick started the renovation of part of downtown after the theaters at the Music Center, I drove over to Art Share LA, an art gallery, theater and communal housing for artists. They had an exhibit of various artists working in the entertainment industry for Disney, Star Wars and other related animation work. When I walked in I really thought there was someone playing piano. Great space to enjoy art emerging artists.

There are a lot of smaller name artists out there that need a place to start and I feel like this would be a good gallery for them. You won't find really high priced pieces, just a bunch of affordable art. If you're starting out collecting or don't have a huge budget this would be a great place to come and pick something up without paying a fortune. The girl working was really nice and friendly. I would def go back for another show if there was an artist I had interest in. I hope this gallery stays around and keeps putting on shows for up and coming artists.

No taking photos inside (there are a bunch of different signs telling you this) so it's hard to describe what's for sale. Fun to take a gander inside if you happen to be in the area and find a parking spot but probably not the most exciting place to go for specifically since you'd have to fight traffic and very confusing parking rules to get here.

Walked in, liked some things and bought some things. As we were ready to leave we noticed the wall in the back with the art displays. They have a beautiful piece with what looks like a woman in a turban or headpiece. They also have it painted on the wall. Considering it's permanently on the wall, think safe assumption, the woman behind desk would know the history of the painting. She said she didn't. And not in an I just work here kind of way but in a snobby tone. We got the impression she judged a book by its cover...like I said we were in gym clothes. She made it clear she had no interest in wasting her time on us. I'd like to go back and support the independent artists but not at the cost of a snob. I asked because I was interested in purchasing the painting but not after that encounter.

Downtown LA Art Walk

An Art Walk in Los Angeles should be expected to be a scene where culture and artful expression…read moreknows no boundaries and embraces established techniques, modern absurdity and the limitless quanity of weird in the globe to produce what moves emotion or in other words to produce art. And my recent trip to the Downtown LA Art Walk was exactly that a collection of techniques, practices, talents, mediums, and modes of communication that came together and landed to create an amorphous experience that was shaped, like clay, to create visual and sensory craftwork. There were different galleries offering different works. I will begin this review by naming some of my favorite. There was this gallery showing photography that was enhanced, played, or showcased light and that is where I found the dinosaurs of Cabezon come to life by the angles of a camera. I clipped the picture of the drawing (art inception) and it shows a long neck dinosaur that I want to call a jirrafasuaraus but I know that is wrong, walking toward a twilight colored horizon-- where the low of the sky was orange, layered above by a lemon-yellow strip of sky, then followed a soften almost transparent orange, with the rest of the sky being a early evening blue. I could not tell that the picture was fake. I do not want to say that I thought that Jurrasic Park was real, but, the picture did make me feel that the dessert has seen dinosaurs walking toward lovely sunsets. Another favorite was a negative of a picture of what looked like a swan floating in water that was completely black, like a swan swimming on black construction paper. But the only visible parts of the swan was is feathered body, its long neck, and regal tail. I could not see its eyes, I could not see its beak, I could not see its crest up high. The swan was averting the lens of the camera and yet the beauty of the swan was evident because its pure white ruffles were silent against a black backdrop. I could continue naming the pieces I like and why, but then the artwalk would becoming an art viewing. So I will conclude that I also saw a woman wearing a ruffled vest that dragged to the floor. It was inconvenient and kind of bulky, and maybe drag dirt along the train, but this was also art. I point that out because the show attracted people with style, and style on a body, is art, as everyone knows. There was also an apartment building that opens its doors. It offered a fondue fountain, chocolate, pool table, blackjack, and a giant arcade machine where one could play spade invader or pac-man. So the engagement level of Art Walk expanded to art one could make on the spot. And if you wonder how one makes art at a pool table--- then I suggest seeing a video of a player using a stick to make a ball jump to avoid one ball and hit the other. The movement is a type of ballet jump (a piroutte) that is prompted by a stick propulsion. If that is not artistic expression, then, a person living in a glass box suspended in air above the ground isn't either. As I walked the streets of LA, I also saw a truck that had four spotlights. I have always seen events that are signaled out by spotlights but now I know that these spotlights are ambulatory, and kind of, yes, art in their own way. They rose lights to the buildings side and to the night sky. The movement was a type of dance light, and I defy anyone to prove me wrong because at its core, art can never be truly define by words because, on its own, its a visual language.

Fun experience going into these private artsy businesses and checking out their collection. This is…read morea well planned art walk where maps are included. You essentially just get lost going from one art studio to the next. It's everything about art into one event. Traffic can be difficult but once you're in, it doesn't even matter anymore. Seeing these monuments removed from their original outdoor settings and placed inside a gallery changes everything. Some are unmarred. Others are heavily vandalized. Each state of transformation tells its own story. It forces you to look at them not as background fixtures, but as objects with weight, history, and consequence. The contrast between the historical monuments and the contemporary responses is powerful. It's not an easy exhibition, and that's the point. It invites reflection, discomfort, and dialogue. If you're looking for something visually impressive and intellectually challenging, this is absolutely worth your time.

But this review is not about the latest Spider Man flick, it is about Alamo Drafhouse Cinema. And I firmly believe that one of the reasons why I loved Brand New Day so much is because I saw it in Alamo Drafthouse. The movie going experienced was enhanced, dare I say even honored, by this place. And, I might be wrong, but saying that a place made a movie better, is the loudest clap a moviegoer can give to a place that plays movies for goers. I am not sure how I first heard of Alamo Drafthouse, but I selected it as the venue that will host my movie going experience because I fe;t Spider Man deserved the stage. When I got there I was surprised by one sheer fact: I have walked by this place many a time, and I never knew that it was there. Which made me realize in a much broader way that what they say about LA is true--- one will never be bored here because there is always something new to do, and if you cannot find something new, than you might not be looking hard enough. The entrance to the place that holds Alamo also had a reminder that we might all need to hear: "say whatever it is, before it is too late." I entered and the place gave me Bing Bang Theory basement vibes if Howard or Sheldon had the funds to create a luxury movie theathre in their basements. The place was replete with a lot of different posters, and toys, and other memorabilia. If one is a flick nerd, then this place will be their slice of heaven with reclining sheets. I clipped just a few pictures of the different do-thats that this place. For instance, they had a wall full of Spider Man posters. As I walked past them and into my designated theatre I felt more excited to see the motion. Also, they had this area with tables and beers on tap with the Spider Man from the 90's playing. Which makes me believe that Spider Man 97 is coming along the pike cause this cartoon is not quitting. But I thought it was such a great touch to play this cartoon because it is responsible for having so many people fall in love with the wall crawler. It was appropriate nostalgia that frame the movie. So if I have not made it clear, being in this place is a small museum that reminds us why we love movies, beyond them offering escapism when times get tough. The movie rooms were small, quaint, and comfortable. I think most people would agree that a recliner while watching a movie may not be needed, but just like fudge on ice cream, it makes the treat better in a rich kind of way. Additionally, this place offers food delivered to your chair by a server. The besides me had a whole happy hour situation going on. He ordered three margaritas, a hamburger, fries and enjoyed his time. It was all about being good and happy at the movies. This place facilitated that. I was not hungry. But I was inspired by my neighbor to order a treat---- sea salt and vinegar popcorn laced with gold fish, and it was a nice little treat. First, I never had that combination before. It was great! The goldfish cheese taste was deepened. Not in every bite but the ones that were in the bottom of the sea(bowl). The second thing that they did, that another Yelper. comment on was, they "have a no-phone policy." Meaning that when the movie started to play they encouraged us not to use our phone or we might be asked to leave. We were told we can report people on our phone using their phone. And they addressed the irony of it--- and resolved it by saying just don't be a jerk. It as like putting a pretty ribbon bow in a package that was once difficult to wrap. The movie had previews but before that they had a comedian re-cap the journey to this movie and it was funny. The comedian wondered if DR. Strange was also the type of guy that buys liquor for a minor since he did a universe altering spell for one. Then before the movie they showed a video with Holland stating that this Spider Man Movie was created for "you." And to a much lower degree, for sure, this Yelp was written for you too.

every since changing over to the QR ordering system, everything else seems to bee in decline,…read moreincluding the menu. the wings have been removed and replaced with "boneless wings" (bite sized chicken tenders) the pretzel has been swapped for a pretzle stick instead of a whole ass pretzle and now the once delightful, thin-crust pizzas seem to have really doughy, chewy new crust these cost cutting measures have me wondering if there is anything good even left on the menu tenders have been dry mozz sticks seem different maybe they are changing over suppliers but food has gone done hill as has the service with the mandatory phone only ordering system...

The atmosphere here is artistic and just draws you in, it may be because of the artist who work there. My tattoo artist is "Adolfo Vicious" he's courteous, professional, creative, and sweet. I've gotten a few tattoos already, and I plan to return for many more. It's a very clean and organize shop, all the artist paint and draw, when they're not doing tattoos. Rockabilly Ray Merlin is a very talented artist as well, and I also plan to get a beautiful traditional tattoo from him soon! Joe black is a great piecer and he's gentle with the needle, such a gentle giant he is! They will keep you coming back for more I promise! Oh and then there's that beautiful doggy "chula" she's smart, friendly, and very loving! She also has her own Instagram haha! Come visit them and check out the rad paintings or start your tattoo journey ! Honestly if you are looking for a family, professional, clean, honest, down to earth, artsy, and plain old fashion respectful individuals, this is the tattoo shop to visit! read more

I had been wanting to get a tattoo for a while, but just couldn't bring myself to do it. I really took some time to think of a design that really meant something to and when I did I knew I had to get it, not knowing where to go since this would be my first tattoo I checked yelp and saw the reviews for were spectacular! This had to be my place, they gladly accepted me and my girl as walk ins and were able to adjust or original images and make them even better! Rockabilly ray was my artist and I could not be happier, I was a little antsy through the beginning but that didn't phase him, and he made sure I was doing okay throughout the process. The staff was amazingly friendly and the ambience was way cooler than I expected. I am in love with this piece of art on my body and can't wait to get it shaded in! Yes. Please! I had the pleasure of getting my septum pierced here today. I was in and out in no time and the piercer was very sweet. I was referred by a friend who has spent a lot of time in this shop over the past month getting a massive piece (which is impressive) worked on. The shop itself is great. Upon walking up the stairs into the shop we were greeted and I was informed of the piercing special. Score! Every question I had was answered before I had to ask. Very clean, professional, and friendly. I would recommend this shop. 100%. I know I will be back! My only regret is being so nervous about getting a needle shoved through my nose I did not get the piercer's name to put in this review. Note: it is cash only. BUT they have an ATM. read more

I went here the other day to get my nipples pierced. I walked in without an appointment but didn't have any problems. Everyone that worked there was very friendly and helpful and there was a pleasant buzz of activity. They were able to take me right away. I maybe had time to smoke a cigarette before Max, my piercing artist, was prepped and ready for me. He was very sweet and professional and he did a great job. The whole thing was super quick and painless. well, relatively speaking. I mean, it's still nipples and needles. But I felt like I was in good hands and as it turned out it wasn't nearly as bad as I had thought it might be. Everything seems to be healing nicely and I'm very happy. I've had a few tattoos done at other studios, before my sister referred me to Tinta Rebelde where her, my aunt and uncle also get their tattoos done by Rockabilly Ray. I wasn't hesitant to come to this studio because the work they have had done always looks exceptional. The first time here I got a tattoo done by Max and after that I went back twice within two weeks and got two more done. I have yet to get one by Rockabilly Ray but I'm making arrangements to go soon to get my next tattoo with him. Point is this is now my permanent studio to go to when I feel like getting a new tattoo done. The tattoos always come out looking better than what you had in mind. The vibe and everyone at the studio are chill. I recommend Tinta Rebelde. read more

This place is one of kind. Especially with all the art that's on the walls absolutely no flash art here everything is custom-made to order if you really want a very nice tattoo you need to come here this place is absolutely one of the best tattoo shops I seen. If you're looking for traditional work you come to the right place straight bold lines. The crew is good and kind and know what you need. I really don't write reviews, but what can I say I love this place and awesome tattoo artists. You won't be disappointed. I've been tattoo by Ocean, Rockabilly Ray and Aldofo from this shop. All three amazing artist they go above and beyond making a customer happy. Rockabilly Ray has been featured in tattoo magazines. Arts all over the walls..... shop dog chula who is friendly and loves to play. If, you ever want to get pierced Joe black is the man. Very clean and sanitized. This place is great! My husband and I went in, without an appointment, to get small ring finger tattoos. Adolfo did mine and Ocean did my husband's. They took the time to talk to us about the specifics of the design to make sure we were comfortable with what we'd be getting. We also wanted to be able to cover our tattoos with our wedding bands and both of the artists made sure to accommodate that request. The whole staff was welcoming and very kind. Great shop, great art, the guys were all very friendly and informative....went for a quick walk-in, while visiting LA, and I was instantly set up with Max, who was very intricate with his work but still very efficient. Aweful customer service, show offs, lack of sanitation, it's for rachettt tattoos. Perverted old men looking to hook up with young girls. They claim that they had big name mentors, but he is straight out of the boardwalk with no talent or skill. Walked into this shop to come to get my nose pierced without an appointment & was helped within the next 10 minutes. The guy who worked on me, Max, was very friendly & told me exactly what he was doing when he was doing it so I wouldn't be as nervous/scared. The piercing took less than 10 minutes & the price was reasonable ($30). Would definitely come back! :) read more

My brother and I were strapped for time looking for a fairly priced tattoo shop. Luckily we found this shop. Max and Adolfo were great getting us in as walk-ins. Quality was on par for what we paid for. We were in and out before we knew it, Max and Adolfo are fast artists. Next time I'm in the area, I know where I'm getting my next tattoo. Adolfo did a super fab job on my forward helix piercing. The piercing itself was quick and painless, and he has a very calm demeanor that made me considerably less nervous. I was amazed by how easily he screwed the ball on the barbell in an awkward part of my tiny girl ears. He's clearly had a lot of practice. Yay Adolfo! I'll be coming back for sure. read more

Just popped in on my lunch break to get my nipple pierced. Quick, fast, easy and literally painless. I will be going back to these guys to build my tattoo collection. Plus, there we're doggers hangin out and made you feel more at ease. They keep you talking to so the initial jab hurts much less. I would definitely recommend this place to friends! read more

This is a parlor that you need to come to. If you want old school or new school ink by some bad ass artists then get your ass over and get something ,you won't regret it. The new shop is sweet. It's right in the heart of the art district in Los Angeles. You can even bring in some meaty bones in for the shops dog he will thank you for it. read more
