My friend and I came in today to get a conch piercing and 3x2 inch cat fine line tattoo. We were very welcomed when we came in and Osh helped us decide on final placements, jewelry, and was extremely helpful. With my piercing, Osh helped me pick a stone design/shape that matched the set I already have started while I wait for it to heal to switch to a hoop. He was very patient with me as I looked at almost every stone option they had, asked about prices, and had them held up to my ear. The jewelry did come separately from the piercing price, my totaled to $137. They had a large variety of 14k gold and titanium options. The studio was very clean and the actual piercing went amazing. Osh lined up my piercing, it felt like he really cared about it looking amazing. He was fast and very kind throughout the whole process and I'm excited to come back in the future to continue my stacks. With the tattoo, my friend got a fine line cat about 3x2 inchs for $200. Bryan did it and it looks amazing. He helped pick out the dimensions and what would look best in that spot. He was very kind and set the first tattoo nerves at ease. It felt like he really took his time, the placement, explaining the experience, and actually doing the tattoo. He chatted with us the whole time and made sure she was comfortable the whole time, even though it was likely a baby tattoo. We had a really great experience. I came in for help with my fresh lip ("kitty bite") piercings because one side felt like it might be embedding. (I got them done a week prior with their female piercer, and they fell out two hours later same day- I had to go to another piercer to get them correctly screwed in). I decided to give her another chance and specifically came back to ask about switching to a flat back or a larger top to prevent the embedding Instead, the piercer changed my jewelry to a much longer bar (12mm). I told her it felt too long and uncomfortable, but my concerns were dismissed. Normal length for swelling is 8-10mm. After leaving, the excessive length caused constant movement and contact with my teeth, and I ended up chipping my tooth as a result. I understand that longer jewelry can be used to accommodate swelling, but 12mm was excessive for my anatomy and created more harm than good. I also found it concerning that flat back jewelry--standard for lip piercings--was dismissed as unnecessary during the initial healing. Overall, I felt my concerns weren't taken seriously, and the jewelry choice led to a preventable complication. I've spent more than $300 here for these piercings, and now an additional $500 for the tooth chip due to excessively long bars (keep in mind, the 8mm were still shifting back and forth because my lip swelling wasn't even severe, so the 12mm was ridiculous). I would strongly recommend going to a more affordable, knowledgeable piercer. Or if ur still going to be a future client, to advocate for proper sizing and second opinions if something doesn't feel right. read more

I cannot recommend Osh and his team enough. I called in with an impacted double cartilage piercing that I was unsure if I needed to go to the hospital for help with. I had a fall that caused my spiral ring (single ring through double piercing) to become disformed/pinched/crushed and it was causing my ear to become badly swollen. I called Osh first to get an opinion and am SO thankful I did, because he was so confident, kind, and reassuring and said I could immediately come in for an assessment regarding if he could help, and then we could go from there. When I arrived, he assessed my double piercing and impacted ring quickly and assured me he could remove it while explaining how and that it would not be painful (as I was already in a lot of pain). Osh then very carefully manipulated the spiral ring (miraculously without having to cut it once!) and was able to remove it from my double cartilage piercing with NO pain on my end. Even when I became a bit lightheaded due to just extreme fear of the pain I had previously felt, Osh was calm and gave me what I needed to feel safe and secure, and helped me recognize what I was feeling. It was all around an incredibly grounding, safe experience during a moment when I was feeling a lot of panic and fear. I could not be more thankful. I have a high pain tolerance, but had still been unable to slide the ring through without extreme pain previously. I am so glad I went to an expert and not the hospital. I highly recommend Osh and the whole shop for emergencies and anything in general - he also saved both of my piercings, which I had not even thought about, in light of my situation. I am now on the mend and very, very much more comfortable. THANK YOU!! TEN out of 5 stars. read more

Tuesday July 2nd 2024 this shop changed my life. To say I had a wonderful experience would be an understatement. Another commenter described the vibes as, 'immaculate' and I could not concur more. From the moment I entered I was immediately taken care of by Osh (piercer) to understand what my vision was for my project. He was *extremely* thorough and answered every question patiently and in a way that made sure I completely understood his perspective. He was very honest about what would align with my features and anatomy best, and was very transparent about pricing! I am a heavily neurodivergent over-thinker so it usually takes at least a year of planning to commit to a body mod, but I felt so comfortable with his proposed plan to fit my piercings in a better way that I agreed without question! He is super forward thinking too and mapped in a way that would allow future piercings to fit. He was so good in fact, that as he showed me a potential future placement I said, "Can we also do that one today?" So I went from originally getting 2 new piercings on each ear (4 total) to 3 on each (6 total!) Again, very atypical of me! The piercing experience itself was probably the best ever. Normally it's pain of needle + pain of jewelry insertion, but I had no jewelry insertion pain and HALF the needle pain than usual! He was super communicative and checked on me many times because of the amount of piercings we were doing in one session. I kept promising I felt fine (but I do have a history of dizziness during piercings) however I had turned pale and was forced to eat a lollipop while we finished the rest lol. Really appreciated it honestly, better to be safe than sorry! I also got my first (real) tattoo!! And boy am I happy that I chose this shop & artist for my first one. Bryan was beyond comforting and explanatory. I had many questions (what's new) that he also answered very patiently and honestly. After showing him my vision he immediately got to work on bringing it to life. He nailed the sizing and placement right off the bat, I was immediately reassured of my decision just by that! The actual tattoo hurt of course, but really was over before I knew it. I was talking incessantly to distract myself from the pain, Bryan caught the vibe and shared stories to help take my mind off of it all while working super efficiently. He would also warn me and explain why some sections would begin to hurt more than others. I was shocked when he said we were done because I had anticipated almost triple the time! He went over aftercare and explained all of what to expect in a super user friendly way. Lines were nice and clean, it was exactly what I wanted. By the end of my time there, 1 tattoo and 6 piercings done, I was like overwhelmed with joy and albeit a little out of it LOL. Because of this I was randomly inclined to ask for a picture with Osh, my piercer, for a scrap book moment. I felt so silly asking, but he was such a good sport about it! I'm glad I asked because now I can put a face to the name when I post them in the future. A lot of my female friends have told me that they don't always feel safe or comfortable in tattoo shops, especially when going alone, but this is NOT a place you have to worry about at all. I felt so safe, so heard and so seen by all of these guys! This is the exact environment other shops should strive to create not only for their clients, but their artists as well. I have already started telling all of my friends + family about this place because it's just hard to find THIS GOOD of a quality spot in LA, & Hollywood at that! I saw some reviews about them being pricey, but it really just comes down to their quality and level of care. I hold the belief that this is a permanent asset I am adding to my body and I want it done perfectly, executed in the most comfortable way, and with an artist I can fully trust. With that in mind, the pricing is more than fair. I'm almost pissed I had such an amazing experience because now I'm planning for my next round already (when I had originally wanted to wait another 1-2 years!) but so worth it. I had a great experience with Sam for my second ear piercing. While I have gotten a few tattoos in the past, I hadn't had an ear piercing since I was a toddler. Sam was very patient and helped me pick out studs I really liked and wouldn't mind wearing for the next 3 months until I healed. I'll also note that Atomic had a LOT of options for ear piercings at very reasonable prices. I chose some champagne colored studs and Sam helped me with placement. This was pretty vanilla: upper lobe studs in both ears, but Sam didn't rush the process at all. They don't use a gun, but there was very little discomfort and it happened quickly. I had no pain later that afternoon and forgot that I had gotten my ears pierced the next day. This was a walk in appointment on a Friday afternoon but the studio was clean and quiet with no wait. I'd happily go back to Atomic Tattoo for another piercing. read more

I have to give it up for Spooky! I got an industrial rook to conch piercing with him a few months back. And over this past weekend I saw him again and got a double rook piercing on my other ear. He's done such a sick ass job with all my piercings! They were my first piercings (well maybe not 1st if I count the earlobe piercings I got as an infant lol) and he did such a great job of thoroughly explaining the whole process. One of my best friends and I wanted to get matching tongue piercings (after seeing BTS live in concert) and had looked on Yelp to see what was available. Atomic Tattoo got back to us that same day and we booked our appointment later in the evening. When we got there we were greeting warmly by the person in the front and looked at different jewelry when Osh came up to us and took a look at our tongues. He was honest and told my best friend she couldn't get her tongue pierced because her tongue was too small. And she was actually very grateful because she didn't want to go through with it if it wouldn't come out the way she envisioned it, and she was just grateful he was honest and not after the money. As for me, he always asked if I was okay before proceeding. He told me what will happen, how it'll feel, how to take care of my piercings, as well as food to avoid (and eat). Getting my tongue pierced was an experience, but I'm thankful to Osh who really made the experience twice as great. It's been sort of a tradition in the past that I get a piercing on my actual birthday. I haven't done this in a few years but last month, I decided I wanted to continue this tradition. I have 12 holes on my body. I decided to make it a good even number and get twin piercings this time around, making it a magic number of 14! I always forget how much piercings hurt or maybe I enjoy the pain so much that I immediately forget that it hurt. Spooky was awesome at calming me down and being gentle with me. I've been atomic twice for piercings In 2020 I got 2 helix on L and a second lobe. Quick experience, it hurt but prob just me and my pain tolerance I came back a second time bc I got my rook pierced in Korea but had an issue with the jewelry... the person who helped me out was so nice and patient in troubleshooting how to help me, I was so thankful it was pretty painless.
