I've brought 3 of my cars here from my lifted jeep to a Toyota Tacoma and even a 1996 Land Cruiser, they treat ALL cars with care and despite how hard some of the windows are to tint. they always get it done in RECORD time! I inquired about getting my 1999 Chevy 2 Door Tahoe about two weeks ago. Going thru the process of finding out prices and different types of materials. There was a miscommunication between what I wanted and what they were offering. Upon arrival and setting up the payment this issue came up I was being told that I was going to get the XPEL, XR BLACK and not what I was expecting to get which was their premium the XPEL, XR PLUS that was about 300$ more expensive than my original quote. Upon trying to see where this mistake happened. Jordan the guy that installed the tint. He went through all the messages that were sent and saw that I was inquiring about their premium package. He called everyone that he needed to call because he saw how frustrated I was about this misunderstanding that the call went all the way up to the owner. The owner replied that no one should ever leave TINTIX dissatisfied and that they were going to honor the original quote. Me understanding that mistakes happened ended up paying like 75$ extra so that they wouldn't have too much of a loss. I'm one super happy customer and would recommend this shop to anyone who is looking to get their windows tinted. They were very professional and courteous. Definitely coming back to get my other cars tinted in the near future. I wasn't going to write this review, but since their CRM system keeps spamming me with emails even after unsubscribing a million times, here is my experience. I went in to get all my windows and windshield tinted. Their price was a little above average but they had availability so I went for it. After keeping my car for the entire day, there was no communication so I decided to give them a call. After speaking with them, they said after the tinting, my door sensor wasn't working properly and the car kept warning that the door was open even when it was not. They refused to admit fault and blamed the car, claiming that "oh we've seen this before, it happens sometimes". They refused to give a discount, but said they would pay for repairs if needed. I had to force them to put that in writing before I left. After I got home, I disassembled my door panel and found TONS of water inside the door wiring harness. This created a short that led to the sensor not working. Luckily, after taking it apart and carefully drying all the connectors, the sensor worked again. I realize you need water to tint windows, but it's clear they did not take the proper precautions to prevent water from damaging the electronics inside. No apologies were ever given. If that wasn't bad enough, after waiting a couple weeks for the tint to cure, the quality of their work on the windshield tint was atrocious. I've gotten the windshield on every car I've had tinted and I've never seen anything so bad. There were smudges, bubbles, and dust everywhere. They agreed to redo it, but it was just as bad. They then claimed their best installer was in Brentwood and I had to drive there for them to redo it again. I did that, and as expected, the result wasn't much better. It's been a year and there are still a significant number bubbles and smudges. Considering all the issues I've had and the lackluster customer service from these guys, I recommend going somewhere else - I certainly wish I had. read more

Not sure where to begin explaining the disappointment with Tintx. We first had our car serviced here 7 months ago; at that time we got a full car Stage 4 polish with Ceramic Coating to help the paint for years and we tinted our windows as well. Of course the cost came out over $2,000 but with their guaranteed on everything and the out come was great, we thought it was worth it. Fast forward 7 months 4/6/24- It's crazy how in just a short 7 months companies can change for the worse. The first time I visited Tintix they completely blew me away. All imperfections vanished and the entire car looked fresh off the show room floor. Tintx set the bar so high, which was the reason why I drove 2.5 hours from my home to bring the car back and leave it for 5+ hours. Let me tell you the utter disbelief and disappointment. The work was equivalent to a 76 gas station wash. The worst part was not owning up to the mistakes. Every spot pointed out where they missed, there was an excuse for it. Instead of just owning it and cleaning it up. They brushed it off with "it's only three crumbs", "black paint doesn't clean well", "when cleaning, curved areas are always missed", "it came in like this"; what!?! So basically clean it before you bring it in or clean when you get home. And when asked what does a detail mean to them, they answered " vacuum and wipe down", after we had agreed on ceramic top to buff out the water marks and dirt and and interior detail of shampooing the carpets and deep cleaning the dash and door panels. Not the services provided after looking at it more closely. I'm not one to ask for a discount or get things for free, I just want a great job or at least the job we agreed on and am paying for!!! After going around in circles with excuses and telling me to pick up the three crumbs myself, I paid them what we agreed for the mediocre job but I own up to what I say. Not worth the $646 job at all, I wouldn't recommend this place anymore. Not worth people's time and money to come here. You are better off going to a fundraiser car wash where you will benefit a good cause and get a better wash. I'll post some pictures of proof. And will upload the video of the conversation had where they used these excuse in another post. read more

I had Tintix install a matte stealth PPF for my 2023 Ioniq 5 to protect the factory matte paint. Overall the quality of the work is top notch. You can't really even notice there is a PPF unless you get close up to the car. The service was speedy for an entire car PPF, even during a holiday week! It's hard to put a value on the piece of mind I now have about the car and the paint. Matte finishes are already a lot of upkeep, and now mine is protected from all sorts of external elements. Definitely worth every penny. I also took a look at the wrap wall colors and have ideas of what I'd ask them to do if I wanted to change the color of the car.
