Walked over to a local Mexican restaurant Los Cabos Mexican Grill, it should of been los cabos mexican crap. Go to ziggys if you need food. Anyways the tint job was great at a good price. There are a couple other places in the area a little cheaper, but Rick took the time to tell me about the different tints the was available, no other shop did that, just said price and that was it. Called around to a few different shops. One of them was Tintman in the Temecula/ Murietta area spoke to Rick. Got a great feel after talking to him about tinting my new car. He took the time to go over options and explain the different grades and tint shades. I felt comfortable going with Tintman, so I set an appointment. Got to his shop and again went over the shades and grades to make sure I was comfortable with my selection. Made my choice and left. He said it would take about 2 hours. So I left and kept busy... 2 hours passed and I got a call that my vehicle was done. Picked up car and it looked great!!!!! Explained about giving tint tine to dry, not to roll windows down, that the "streak" marks would dry out in a few days I looked over windows and it looked great the ceramic 5/35 is perfect for me! Second vehicle that I brought in, and the whole experience was just as excellent as the first! Even after getting quotes from other shops, they still had the most reasonable rates for the Tesla Model 3, especially with it being the Llumar IRX film (Llumar's top of the line film), and having one big piece for the rear glass. Once there, I asked Chase a bunch of questions about the them tinting Teslas in general and what shade would look best for the car. As usual, he was very friendly and gave thorough answers. Ended up going with 15% on the rears, and 35% on the front windows, plus a sun visor strip. They have tinted so many Model 3s recently that it was reassuring to know that they have the proper knowledge base to perform the job. They completed the install by the promised time, and the quality of the install came out perfect. We then did a final walkaround/inspection to make sure I was happy with everything. My previous car had the CTX film, which I thought was already good enough, but I can definitely feel the even better heat rejection with the IRX film. At this point, I will say my experience with the shop has been most wonderful. Chase communicated with me all of the possible outcomes (pros and cons) with my specific Telsa Model 3 installation. The price point, military discount and feedback sealed the deal for me. After meeting up with Chase he tamed my anxiousness and reassured me that his team has the experience to surpass my apprehension. The Job was done in a timely manner, complete 2021 Tesla Model 3 Long Range Black on Black with 15% LLUMAR IRX all around and both the back and sunroof. The windshield was done at 50% IRX to give it the tinted / shaded look while maintaining visibility. So far this has really improved both the appearance and the functionality of my car...keeping it cooler which increases my battery length. I look forward to seeing the long range impact on my car and performance. Great job Tintman / Chase. .....................Update 2 days after install..................... Day 1 and day 2 after install with super sunny +90 degree temperatures, the car maintained a much cooler interior temp level (a cooler external appearance as well). I haven't notice any bubbling and or peeling. The area that had a minor haze as water was still curing ( windshield only), has already cleared up after day 1. Nice work team...I will try to update any pros or cons as time goes by or anything arises! read more
