Many, many experiences with Tinucci's have made me a fan of their consistent service and food. Sunday brunch is a good, solid brunch with a variety of traditional offerings, including lots of dessert options. Fried chicken is another solid option from the deli. I haven't been overly impressed with the side dishes; however recently we tried the baked beans which were outstanding. Great dessert options in the deli section our great. This review is strictly for the deli / take-out area, not the supper club. Pros: Located right off of 494 and Hwy 61 on my way home from work. Management is super friendly and gave me a free piece of pecan pie when I picked up a few desserts to go. The pecan pie and the Chocolate Beyond Reason cake are excellent. The buffalo chicken pasta salad is out of this world. Cons: The restaurant is kind of in a scummy industrial area. Nothing appealing about it. Some of their desserts have a strange artificial aftertaste, especially the cheesecake. The deli cases are not very well stocked, unlike Tinucci's pristine location in Woodbury (4 stars to them). I will probably visit the main dining hall soon to try out their Sunday brunch. Hopefully it's worth the $15.95 price tag. read more

The reason I rate it 4 stars and not five is because it doesn't have a great menu but they have some of the best ham!

I have never had a bad experience there with anything: service, food... I don't even think they've ever served us a bad pop. The biggest reason for the 5 star rating is that for our wedding rehearsal dinner, our original venue had a group that priced us out of our room, and our contract was cancelled with only a few days to find a new locale. Enter Tinucci's! We were graciously saved, and I'm almost certain we had a better experience for it. I like the crowd here. The first time we came the server was super accommodating to my little son who has a gluten allergy. I will never forget that because they really didn't have to do that. I really like the fried cauliflower and the prime rib on Saturdays. The pasta salad stuff I can skip save room for the good stuff! This place was absolutely amazing. The prime rib is quite literally one of the best I've ever had. The salad bar had an amazing variety and the service was exquisite. Not to mention, their pours were PERFECT; not too strong, not too weak, juuuuuust right. We had a very large group and they took excellent care of us. Sunday buffet. Food was plentiful with decent variety. Older place in need of some upgrades. This one is hard to rate. On one hand food was decent. Other side is a dated place with a buffet. I'm going with four stars out of five because they obviously care and are doing well providing a good experience. I like Tinucci's. They got a bad rap from Randy Moss and I really dislike Randy Moss so it makes it that much easier to go there. I do wish they still had their Woodbury location open but such is life. Now to the review: They have a deli and a sit down restaurant at Tinucci's. The service in both is a little on the slow side preventing the review from being a 5 or 5. The food is very good. My family loves the chicken dinner from the deli and we also like the Italian night at the sit down (it is a buffet). Met a friend for dinner tonight. Surprised to see it was $2 burger night! We opted for something else though,.... She had a glass of Cab, I a bottle of Corona. I forget what italian sandwich she had... I had the italian beef with hot peppers. It was great and big, brought half of it home! It came with a side of au jus. This was my third trip here in about as many years. The food has always been great, as is the service. I will definitely be back to possibly have the same sandwich or give something else a try. We stopped here by chance after a outdoor wedding. It happened to be Saturday night so we were there for the Prime Rib special. Amazing. Love me some Tinucci's!!! I've been eating here for almost 20 years and don't plan on stopping. Both Mark Sr. and Jr. run a tight ship, and the servers (seasoned and new) are on top of their game. The buffets are great and full of variety. Deep fried cauliflower is soooooo good! Prime rip is amazing and if you like it rare like I do, you'll be in heaven. The salad bar is extensive as well as their cold salad choices. If you get take out, you have to get the onion rings! To die!!!! Strawberry margaritas are the best! read more

I got take out from Tinucci's twice this past week. Ribs one night and roasted chicken on the other. Food was very good. Fries were fresh and tasty and the mashed potatoes were very pleasant. Ribs were tasty ... Not life changing but good. I will go back for more take out and just may try eating in. My brothers and I stumbled across this place while in search of lunch on a Saturday afternoon. While I've heard of this restaurant before, I had never been there. I only recalled the opinion of a particular athlete about this place . We arrived earlier in the afternoon. There was only a limited portion of the menu available at this time. Between my family and I we had; a tuna sandwich, burger, friend mushrooms, chicken tenders, and fries. I must say that I along with my family were disappointed with the quality/taste of the food. The food reminded me of cafeteria food that was served in my high school. Perhaps this may be a place to try for one of their speciality dinner nights for pasta?? Supper club. Comfortable, casual, good service. Saturday night is Prime Rib, all you can eat for $25.95. Ordering it entitles you to load up on all things at their extensive buffet. I wasn't all that hungry and was also experiencing the tailings of a cold, just like my sis. Since we did not see any "soup" on their menu, we asked whether some might be available. Our waitress said, "Sure, I can bring you some from our take-out area. Chicken noodle o.k.?" "Why, yes", we replied. "That'd be great! Two bowls, please, and also the artichoke heart dip for us." The BIL is a big eater and ordered the prime rib special. The soup was hot and tasty enough, with fat noodles in it. The hot artichoke heart dip was served with rosemary toasted ciabatta, and the dip had a bit of a spicy kick. We all enjoyed it. I even sampled 2 bites of that lovely, red prime rib. Acceptable Eggs Benedict, good fried chicken, carved roast beef, scrambled eggs, sausage, french toast, some delicious alfredo pasta type dish, roasted potatoes, salad bar, fresh fruit and desserts. THE SPOT TO GO FOR PRIME RIB! I have travelled from southern to northern MN in a quest for the best prime rib, and this seems to be the place. If you go on a saturday, they have an all you can eat buffet for 25.95. Seems like a bargain to me, as I have paid over 40.00 for a single serving. I realize that all cuts of meat will have some variation, but Tinucci's has consistantly been the best. If you love prime rib, and the opportunity to eat lots of it, Tinucci's can't be beat. I've been here many times on Saturday for the prime rib buffet and am never disappointed. I've also been a few times on Tursday for the Italian buffet. The Italian buffet isn't as good but its still good. I'd love to try the deli, but as its an hour from my work and a half hour from my house it probably won't happen. read more

Been here many times but never wrote a review, Went last Friday for chicken and fish and wasn't disappointed. This is not your typical buffet as everything, I am told, is made on site. Many pasta salads and sides to choose from and all taste very fresh. Prices are a bit high but the food is outstanding. Also not to forget the staff. Very attentive and friendly. Only complaint on this visit is the bread pudding, which they are known for was not ready when we were there. But my waitress went back and got me a large piece to take home. We adore the Sunday Brunch, they have a great variety for even my pickiest eaters. The interior is still stuck in the 70's but that is part of the charm. The waitstaff made my mother feel like a queen on her birthday by bringing her out a cupcake with a candle, a nice touch for sure. read more

Every Saturday night Tinucci's put on a prime rib buffet. Having 3-4 roasts, ranging from rare to well, going at any given time. A very well stocked salad bar. A cheese and cracker table. Good ribs, chicken, potatoes, and vegetables to go along with the prime rib. For consistency alone they deserve 4 stars, the 5th is because its just that good. A favorite of mine is the battered cauliflower with the blue cheese dressing. They also have a menu which you can order from as well. Steaks, fish, and pasta if memory serves. I haven't been here in a few years, decided to go enjoy a Friday night dinner. What a disappointment!! Yuck. I expect more tasteful food...not tasteless. The ribs tasted like they were leftover from a prior service & reheated to be served again. Had to wait for shrimp & fish to be refilled. Baked fish was rubbery. The deserts were good. When they asked how everything was, I stated my disappointment & said I wouldn't be back. The woman taking my payment simply said sorry to hear that. I think Golden Corral has better food. Went for lent fish feed. Supposedly Five dollar savings per coupon, however they require a drink per person and sodas at a little over $3 each makes coupon worth about $2. In my opinion the food was good but no better than other fish fries. Salad bar was decent. Desert very limited selection and not very good. I think they have over priced their buffet. I'd recommend taking the short drive to Treasure island buffet instead. read more

Overpriced buffet I took my family to the Italian buffet on Thursday night. I compare the lasagna to the frozen food grocery store quality. The red sauce was not fresh. The Alfredo was bland. The cold salad dishes were unappealing and had been sitting too long. Chicken was decent, but very greasy, and they didn't offer any grilled chicken. There are no healthy options other than the salad bar. For the price, the salad bar isn't worth it either. The salad is pre mixed Iceberg, no Romaine at all. Atmosphere is very depressing, 70's style supper club. It's like a VFW in this place, very dark, dreary, and depressing. It screams "Lunch bucket", but with these prices, I thought I was at the "Lex", complete joke. Worst of all, my bill for 2 adults and 2 children was over $60.00. My suggestion would be to skip this time warp and drive 10 minutes to Degidio's and get freshly made Italian food in a warm inviting setting for half the price. Only good thing I have to say about this place is that the staff is great and the service was top notch. Never Again! read more

LIke the idea of collecting Randy Moss jersey's for a free buffet. But please don't re-issue them to Big Brothers / Big Sisters. He is no role model. Sure collect money for the cause, but give the jersey's to an animal shelter, to make holiday dresses and skirts for unwanted muts. That's the respect the old 84 jersey needs. Went to Tinuccis for a family Christmas gathering. They were great at accommodating our group of 7. Our group had a variety of dishes including the $30 prime rib buffet. Our daughter who is a prime rib fanatic thought hers was very average and not real flavorful. Wife had a medium well done filet mignon which was very well done. They in fact butterflied it and grilled the inside, something I've never seen done on a filet with a $29 price tag. Rookie move there. My son in law ordered a rare filet which came in medium well and was returned. Later they came back with a rare one which was actually raw in the middle, but he didn't mind it that rare. My son had chicken feticcini alfredo. The slices of chicken were so dried out it was inedible but he did like the sauce and pasta. Daughter liked the chicken and ribs and the portion was huge. Lastly I ordered the $28 walleye filet, pan fried. The filet was a nice big one but It was definitely not pan fried. It was dusted with flour on one side but not the other and appeared to be broiled, not pan fried as ordered and it lacked any hint of seasoning. There was no skin on the unbreaded side which makes me skeptical of whether or not it was actually walleye. Very fishy flavor more like a Great Lakes whitefish than walleye. Because it was not cooked on both sides the thickest part of the filet was undercooked . Sadly not impressed especially considering the price tag. Vegetables with the meal where also very uneventful. None of the meals came out at the same time and the chicken rib dish arrived about 15 minutes after everyone else was served. Our waitress was very good but had no real explanation as to the dishes not being served all together. I was very impressed with the salad bar, but disappointed the rest of our dining experience didn't follow suit. Sorry the cost of this dining experience did not coincide with the satisfaction of the meals. The 2 rating was because of the nice salad bar otherwise the meal as a whole including delivering food that was prepared not as ordered would have been a 1. When you pay a premium price for a meal as we did, you should get a premium meal, and we did not. Sorry but I would be hesitant to return. read more
