She's incredibly detail-oriented and always makes sure my nails are shaped perfectly and the design is exactly how I want it. This last set is a soft yellow French tip on almond-shaped nails and I'm obsessed. The lines are super clean, the shape is flawless, and they look so elegant. Katie never rushes and you can tell she really takes pride in her work. The salon is clean, relaxing, and everyone is friendly, which makes the whole experience even better. I've never given a bad review in my life, but I must make an exception for this experience. I've been getting my nails done for over two decades at various salons, and this one was by far the worst. I'm not sure if they were overwhelmed or simply too busy, but my dip nail and my daughter's dip tips were a disaster. The nails were never filed down, resulting in tiny bubbles. Painful experience. I've been having my nails done for years, if you're going to come here do not get a walk-in appointment. I asked for a fill. I was very clear with her, she told me they looked old. They were only filled once somewhere else... they were fine. Proceeds to chip away at corners of nail and rips off. OUCH! I asked her to again just fill. She said no. Again rips off a couple more. Also what's with yanking my wrist around and slapping fingers away. Felt like it was a torture camp and I was relieved to get out of there. It removes top layer of your nail when you do this... I was up multiple times last night with pain in my nails. One coat of red paint, smudges on my toe and off she went. 17 mins from start to finish. Paid $33.16 for the #1 pedicure that claims a time of 30-35 min. First time in my life I didn't tip someone. Literally the first time in my life I didn't tip someone. I didn't go at a busy time, 2pm on a Thursday. Unfortunately a little disappointed. My daughter and I made an appointment for a pedicure. I treated her for her birthday. It was very rushed and not relaxing at all. We decided to do the deluxe pedicure but it was not worth paying $90 for two pedicures. My daughter still had partial skin on her toes from the callus remover after we left the salon. We didn't see that until we were driving home. My cuticles were not cut properly. The massage was not great and very short, even though we paid for all the extra things. Went in for a mani/Pedi with my Mom today. There was one gal who seemed to be the manager, and she was kind of rushing and brisk, but all the other staff were really warm and lovely. I was shown a beverage menu, and chose the Vietnamese coffee. It was hot, and perfect for the grey rainy day. I felt like they took their time, ensured my nails all looked even and nice. I got the "level 2" pedicure (they offer three different types) and had very nice massages and my skin feels so soft and pampered. I got gel nails, and asked for a little gold fern detail, just something a little fun and different. The ambiance is really nice, lots of natural light and I appreciated that the TV had fun/cute tiny cooking videos (as opposed to soap operas which is what is usually played at nail salons) Everything felt clean. When we arrived they had us sit in the chairs and cranked on the hot water as they walked away to attend to other customers. My my mom was practically burned. Then they rectified it by making the water too cold to soak our feet. They handled both of us aggressively causing my 88 yr old mother pain. Not once did my moms pedicurist listen to her requests. We gave them more than one try, because our first time was on Mother's Day. We thought that maybe because they were so busy for the holiday that we'd try again. This second time was by far the worst pedicure service I've ever had. We had an appointment for 10 AM for three pedicures, they made us wait almost half an hour to sit down, and then another half an hour before they actually got to my toes. And we ordered the classic pedicure but they gave us express pedicures (no hot stones, no massage) without consulting us. The lady just said "sorry about that" and handed us a 20% off coupon to use on a future pedicure. The pedicure it self wasn't great, she was obviously rushing and was very rough on my toes. I have been going to Jasmine's for about two years now, for different services. Today I went to get my eye brows and lip waxed. It was awful. The lady was trying to wipe my eye brows as I was laying down, the wax was far too hot, and the way she ripped the wax off was horrible. She didn't even check her work after she was done. I was a customer of Jasmine nails a few years ago though sadly stopped going due to the issues I'd have with my nails constantly breaking, not receiving great service, etc. On a whim, I went in a few months ago and am so thankful I gave them another shot!! The salon has been completely remodeled, is clean and the services they offer is TOP NOTCH! I like my nails to make a statement. I'm always finding new designs on Pinterest and have always been happy with the end results. My nails never break unless I fail to get a fill in a timely manner and I constantly get compliments therefore sending Jasmine new customers. My only wish is that they offered more Chrome colors. If you are like I was and turned off by previous services, I'd certainly give them another try. I can almost guarantee you, you won't be disappointed. Gig Harbor has many options for where to go yet many don't offer the excellent service that Jasmine's does!! Plus, who doesn't want to enjoy a nice glass of wine while relaxing and being pampered? read more

Then I went in with a 20% off coupon and she didn't honor it, and when I asked about it she gave me $10 back, which was still $4 less than what she should have given me. I came to jasmines for the first time for a dip. The lady Who was doing my nails was either the owner or manager. She Kept leaving me to help other clients. My dip nails are very bumpy in places and every fingernail has missing spots on the sides. Won't go back. 40 dollars went to waste. read more
