My son began at AppleTree Preschool when he was about to be 2 years of age. As parents we were very nervous about starting our son since this was our first experience. However, Ms. Chamila and Ms. Gaby, as well as the other staff, made our experience the complete opposite. They created a nurturing environment for our son and he loved going to school. This daycare was really good at the start. The previous director sold me with promises of my child learning and attentiveness from teachers. She also sold me on the fact that there were days that my husband and I didn't have to pay for. We were sorely mistaken. It started when they went almost 3 weeks without pulling a payment from us, because of this my husband kept asking for them to charge us. When they finally did, they pull over $600 from WITHOUT telling us. We had to bring it up to them and then they told us Then we started becoming behind on our payments because they pulled such a big chunk that it put a dent in our finances. We then learned that they would just kept charging our card until they got some sort of payment. No where was that clarified or communicated to us, so we would see charges on our card for $2.99 to $97.00. So we all together stopped keeping money in that account because we were being unnecessarily charged without our permission too. Second, we started having problems with the teachers. Ms. Gabby is a gem and all the kids were lucky to be with her and she made our first daycare experience amazing. She unfortunately went on leave and that's when things started going south. My daughter who is potty trained was coming home with accidents almost every time she would go to daycare. But these weren't just any accidents, her pants would come home SOAKED. It seemed like the teachers let her pee her pants 2-3 times over before changing her. It was only after I brought it the directors attention that it started getting better. But this was only the start of the neglect. On top of the bathroom issues, they were giving my child screen time without my permission or the permission of other parents (or so I assume). I walked in one day after nap time to find all of the kids huddled around a teachers iPhone watching YouTube. My husband and I have made it a point not to do a lot of screen time with our daughter. We didn't think that putting her in daycare where she is supposed to be learning would entail mindless screen time on teachers iPhone. I informed the director and she said she was unaware of this. It's also very apparent from the times I've spoken to her that she really does not care about the younger kids but is more worried about the older kids. She would tell me that she would keep an eye on the younger kids but it never happened. Because of this my child and most likely other children too have been neglected in their care. Not to mention, they sent my daughter home dehydrated on Friday when it was almost 100 degrees that day with the water I had sent in her water bottle still there. When we got home my daughter was chugging water, was not eating, and couldn't sleep that night. Which as a parent is incredibly concerning because if they're not giving my child water, who else aren't they giving water to? Of course, no one could tell me if they had refilled her water bottle or anything like that. So now as a parent I was ready to withdraw her. I called Monday to withdraw her and the director did everything in her power to keep us from leaving. She kept trying to get us to put her in a different class which I kept saying no but she kept telling me to "ask my husband", but no means no. I said no and they should have respected that and let us go. My husband then went up to the school but they were too busy to give him the time of day about the withdraw we were trying to do because we also didn't want to be charged for the week since my daughter was not going back that same week. The only way I was able to get anything from them about withdrawing my child was after spam calling them. Then I was told that there was no paperwork and we were off the hook, which took us all of 3 minutes to talk about. Not sure why they couldn't tell my husband the same thing. Overall, I would not recommend sending your child here at all. We have reported them to the state of California for an inspection and I also found that there have been multiple investigations since March of this year (2026). Please do not send your child here. The pricing is great but you get exactly what you pay for. read more

As new parents, my wife and I tried out various daycares to find the right fit for our son X. We tried a corporate daycare and didn't like the environment much. We tried an in-home daycare and didn't think the qualifications were there for my son's success. Apple Tree had its bumps at times but we overall genuinely believe the staff and the PreK itself was a great environment for our son to grow and develop. My son started going to this school when he was 18 months, I have to say this school is awesome! Every teachers they are so nice and treat kids like their own kids, especially Miss Gaby and Abeer, they are the teachers for toddler class. My son love being with them. The price for tuition is reasonable too! Nice and clean environment, not that big but you will have everything that your baby needs basically. Believe the other reviews and look somewhere else to enroll your children. This establishment is ran by shady individuals. I was planning to enroll my children here and changed my mind because I read the reviews and I toured this place as well but was not pleased with their fake persona they put on. I didn't sign anything , gave cash for the registration fee and thought if anything were to happen, I'm sure I'd get my money back. Wow, was I in for a good time. First off, their website doesn't mention anything about an enrollment fee let alone refunds. I immediately notified the daycare in less than 48 hours that my daughters would not be enrolling. I didn't sign anything. My daughters names aren't even in their books. Literally nothing no trace of nothing not even a receipt for the cash. I gave the director. When I called about receiving a refund, the director was being very rude and did not want to give me my money back. I told her I did not sign anything. Let alone was not given a receipt and that is not fair. She knew I was on the government assistance program for daycare so anything out-of-pocket I was paying for means a lot to me. Once she did give me my money back, she kept giving me the runaround on what time I could pick it up. I asked to speak to her superior she gave me the number of a teacher called Diane and her phone number so she did not provide me with her superiors number. When I showed up to pick up my refund, I spoke with Harshay ( the directors superior) and she said she was unaware of the other up reviews, which is very concerning because you would think if you run an establishment that cares for children you care what these parents are saying about your daycare, but clearly she was clueless so please for your child well-being clear from this establishment! read more

Hello Yelpers! Id like to express how amazing this Preschool/ Daycare Facility is. My boys have been coming to Apple Tree for over two years now and they love it. The Staff is amazing! My Youngest started in the Infant Classroom and he is now in the toddler class room. The infant classroom was amazing to my SON since he's more of the high energy boy they gave the attention that he needed then and continue to do so. He's Now 2 and a half and already know all his colors, Shapes, numbers up to 20, and so many knowledgeable songs, he now talks like there's no tomorrow. My oldest started when he was 3 and he is soon to start Kindergarten at Apple Tree in August! He now knows his Days of the week, The Months of the Year, His numbers and his writing skills are spectacular! My boys are striving because of all the LOVE and CARE that the teachers and staff Provides them! Of course not every day is a perfect Happy Day as Kiddos are growing and learning how to express emotions and learning the way of life. This is why I believe ALL parents need to have Compassion for all the teachers as their job is not easy. They not only have to teach but they're also molding our Kiddos to be kind, caring, Smart, to have patience. ( now as an adult I have to be reminded of that). My daughter started coming here in August 2023 and it was the worst decision EVER!! First, they placed her in room D with Ms. Wendy. Months later I started getting ouch reports where my daughter had "fallen". I started creating a great communication with my daughter despite her age to always know what was happening and sure thing she started telling me everything. In this class, she was being hit by a girl. When i reported it to the teacher, I was told they were going to be checking more. Things continued and I went to the director, Ms ishara. She said my daughter was always okay and never came up to them to tell them if something was wrong. (Like if they cannot see by their behavior when something is happening) she made me look like I was the only one complaining. I still did not care, I was looking into the well being of my child. She got moved to another classroom, Ms. Kang. I thought things were getting better but I was wrong. I began getting many ouch reports of my daughter having accidents during outside play in the school playground. The worst one was she got A SPRAINED FOOT!!! The teacher who these things always happened with was a tall Hispanic mid 30s woman always wearing bun a glasses. During this huge incident, this "teacher " said she told my daughter many times to get down the caterpillar tunnel with another classmate. Like why would you let them get up there in the first place I asked and she said she thought they were only going to sit there ‍ Due to this incident, my daughter had a swollen foot for 1 week and half almost 2. She could NOT WALK!! Besides the ouch reports I would get from my daughter not being supervised, I would also get reports where other kids would hit my daughter. A couple times my daughter also came home with her private area bursting red, when i asked my daughter she said a teacher would help her wipe but too hard on which she would say NO but was still hurt. She is potty trained!!!!! That pissed me off. I could not tolerate this anymore. I always spoke to Ms ishara, and instead of doing something, they would isolate my daughter from the kids that would hit her instead of talking to parents or doing something else. My daughter would tell me she had NO friends because the teacher would tell her to not play with some kids!!!!My daughter would always tell me that some kids would hit others and the teachers would not do anything. I was afraid my daughter would grow up thinking this was okay so I decided to take action. Towards the end, Ms ishara started AVOIDING ME. It was too much. None of the teachers in this school know how to SUPERVISE! We as parents leave our kids here to be SAFE for us to go to work not to be mistreated. Therefore, I decided to change her schools. I truly regret enrolling my daughter here. Her last day coming here was this past Friday 06-21-2024 and without surprise I was given an ouch report. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!! BEWARE, A KIDS EMOTIONAL AND PHYSICAL WELL BEING IS VERY IMPORTANT AND THIS SCHOOL IS NOT IT! Our experience here was absolutely horrible. This review is for their toddler center. We first were enrolled in the sister location because they did not have any space at apple tree. We were there a total of 3 days and my baby came home with multiple bruises and one of the assistant teachers had the audacity to tell me she was annoyed by my son because he kept taking out toys. I was upset because they clearly were not watching my baby but had the audacity to complain about him. When I asked how did the bruises happen no one knew and they were all magically on lunch. Very concerning if no one was watching the children. We switched to Apple tree and things were going ok, we liked his teacher but every time she was absent my baby came home with bruises and bite marks. What was upsetting was we were never notified of what happened. The last straw was I picked up my baby from the center, we get home and I lift his shirt and he had bite marks on his tummy and arm. Very red deep, deep bites. He also had a bruise on his head. I immediately went to his school and asked what happened and why we were not being notified if there was an aggressive kid in his toddler class. We got the run around and finally the substitute teacher came and said another toddler bit my baby. I was so angry because they were so passive about it. I understand these things can happen, but the director was so passive and then told us we had the right to withdraw because she wanted to give the aggressive kid a chance. I reached out to his teacher via text and she told me she was frustrated because this kid was biting all the kids in class and nothing was being done by upper management and parents were very upset. I was done by this point. One thing is to have things happen once in a while but for them to allow another child to be that aggressive towards other little toddlers who can't defend themselves continuously and side with the aggressive kid was ridiculous to me. We spoke to the owner who said she would follow up with us and she never did. The owner even admitted to us the director was new and she didn't know what she was doing. Clearly for profit only. We also witnessed multiple times some kids beating up on only one kid all at one and no teacher watching. We reported it to that same director who told us we could withdraw our baby and the response she gave us was "no, there should be a teacher there". That Director was clearly not experienced. We pulled my baby out and enrolled him in a Montessori school. Ever since he has progressed so much! No more bites, no accidents, nothing. My baby is now talking so much and has mastered all his letters, numbers, shapes, and colors at the small age of 2. Taking him out of that center was the best decision we could have made. read more

My daughter has been going here for a few months and I couldn't have picked a better school. Her teacher Miss Adellina is amazing. My daughter has learned so much and her writing skills have improved. I don't know even know where to start My baby girl started going here at the end of December and I took her out the end of May. So she was two and turnt three in January but every other day she was getting a report saying she was hitting and it wasn't getting better it was getting worse so they were suspended her almost every other week which the suspensions started in May for hitting but no one else was having this issue when she went anywhere else just this place. She would have marks on her they wouldn't know what happened. One time my child had dried poop in her underwear when she came home and no one knew why. my kid has been potty trained since she was 1. Every morning my child didn't like me dropping her off one morning one of the teachers had stated oh she's here like how disrespectful. I came and she was sleep in the corner by herself and was told it was because she wanted to play with the other kids but after saying something all of a sudden she was sleeping next to other kids. I was looking to find another place and had finally found one and guess what she's been at her New school since June and has not had one problem she's talking more she's learning and loves going she rushes me to hurry up and drop her off. Another problem I was has having her stuff was always lost they found one of her jackets but lost one and thank goodness I'm friends with one of the moms because she gave me her jacket that they sent home with her. They are not as organized as they should. The only good thing I will say is the Director was very nice and communicated with me but over all I would say don't bring your child I was stressing everyday at work thinking what am I gonna hear about today. Oh I almost forgot I brought goodie bags decorations cup cakes and pizza and nothing was set up the kids didn't get the goodie bags until I said something the next day they just made me feel like they didn't like my child at all read more

Our son attends Apple Tree Preschool in the infant room. The teacher's helped our son adapt from being home for the first 7 months of his life to daily daycare life. We were nervous and worried, but the director assured us everything would be okay. She was right! The teachers's put us at ease with their kindness and patience. They implement daily learning activities such reading stories, song time, tummy sitting/crawling/ walking time. They do crafts and provide you daily notes on how your child's day went ( food/sleep/mood/activity log). They have a safe/clean/shaded outdoor area seperated for ages ( infant/toddler/prek). When I pick up our son, he is happy and smiles at his teacher's. Personally, I am an educator who provides physical therapy activities to special needs students. I understand the level of patience and compassion it takes to care for children. I applaud Ms. Lupe, Ms. Evelyn and Ms. Amber for their dedication to the infant room. My husband and I can go to work and concentrate because we know our son is having fun, is safe and is learning. My two Sons have been going here for 5 months now. They are 2 and a half and 18 months. All of the teachers here are amazing. Even if my sons are not in their class all the teachers know them and take care of them. Ms. Kang is truly amazing. My son has truly has become his own person here and has learned so much at only 2.5 yrs old. He can sing abc's, count and even knows how to trace letters already and can sing every song there is. Ms. Kang sends him home almost everyday with art work. They do so much art activities its all he can talk about. Ms. Lupe with the infants is a blessing. She watches my little one with such care and better than if they were her own. She strives to educate the infants and has shown my baby so many things and has taught him so many words and hand signals. All of the teacher show so much love for my boys and my boys love everyone here. Ms. Alexis is always watching over everyone and works hard to make sure all the kids have a great and enjoyable time. The facility is super clean and they have the fake grass for the kids and in the infant area which is really great for my little one to be walking around out there. My kids went here for a few years, and it went well but after a while my kids hated it and disliked a certain staff member. The director was pretty much professional and I really liked the director's daughter and another young lady that was there, they were both great and very professional. The girl who watched my kids was not nice at all, and I actually witnessed how she talked to my kids one time, in my opinion a girl her age should not get into an argument with a kid under 10 in front of the mother. A simple complaint would of been sufficient and I would of talked to MY son about it. This day care is not terrible but definitely not great. They have great educational curriculum. They notify you daily about your child's daily activities. I've been taking my toddler to this school for the past few weeks. I'm so grateful to have found this school in times like these where I can trust the my child to the teachers. Apple Tree Preschool is a Warm, Inviting, Enchanting Preschool. The Teachers and Director are as Genuine, Loving, Caring and Dedicated to your children as they come. My daughter's absolutely Love coming to school. The children here seem to cry when it's time to go home vs being dropped off.(Just goes to show your kids are happy kids and feel safe and loved). The structure and routine they have experienced at Apple Tree, has put them in the right path towards their education. Love the fact they are open from 7am to 6pm. As working parents it's hard to pick them up right at 5pm. The fees are really reasonable. I my girls absolutely love all the songs and crafts they learn and make. Especially their Performance, which are too cute and sweet for words to express. Absolutely Love Apple Tree and the Wonderful Amazing Teacher's: Miss. Jin, Miss. Kwon, Miss. Diana, Miss. Mimi, Miss. Jaylyn are True Gems, their Love, Patience, Guidance are Priceless. I can only hope and Pray that all Teachers to come will be as Wonderful as these Ladies all are.
