Even as an adult, going to the orthodontist was not the highest priority but I wasn't to ensure I had a positive experience that I could tell my friends and family about. From the moment you walk in the door, you are immediately created by a friendly reception team with only one agenda... to ensure you feel welcome. The "New Orleans' theme environment adds a fun feeling to the experience with games and music along with local news and other items available to keep you engaged as you wait for yur appointment. The staff remembers your name for ever appointment and as you are escorted to your chair, everyone speaks and says hello because they truly appreciate you as a customer and a part of their business. I can speak from experience with braces, retainers, etc as a kid, everyone wants the orthodontist visit to be painless and fun. The staff makes sure you are comfortable and engaged so even if it is a little painful, you don't notice at all. Every kid I saw there was wearing a smile on their face from the time they arrived to the time they left and that speaks highly of the entire team. Even being escorted to the chair, the best part of my visit was Dr. Hilgers. He greets every patient with a smile and ensures that he gives his personal best service every time. He is very thorough in explaining all procedures and ensure that the the quality of care you receive gets the best results not to mention a beautiful smile. As I left for, each staff member thanked me for visiting their office and made me feel like I couldn't wait for my net visit. By the time I left, I was smiling and wanted to tell all of my co-workers and friends that Dr. Hilgers has the best orthodontic office I have ever experienced and all of their family should have the same experience. SInce then, I have shared my story with people at work and hopefully they will visit soon. I know that reviews are important to the growth of a business but they also give new customers a different perspective on what they may be walking into. Well, I can say by far, Dr. Hilgers Orthodontics is the best in Phoenix and I plan to be a long time customer. I never had the Invisalign trays even made, I had a total of ONE visit to the office for that one initial consult and exam. I was medically unable to proceed with the treatment due to jaw pain. After that resolved, life changes prompted a move out of state. Again, I only had ONE visit with this provider. When I contacted them to talk about options, they asked if I'd be able to start the trays and then fly back here periodically for check ins. (lol!) I told them I couldn't obviously, so my only other option was to cancel the contract (the trays were never even made). I was made to pay over $400 to end the contract. My insurance made multiple payments to them, yet I was told that they charged these exorbitant fees for consultation and imaging. So for one visit with this provider, I'm out not only the deposit, but over $400 to end the contract. What a scam!!!!!!

I didn't like how crowded my bottom teeth were and my top teeth stuck out some. I didn't like my smile anymore. I was referred to Dr. Murphy in 2016 but I couldn't make up my mind what I wanted to do. In 2022 I decided to have a consultation and move forward with straightening my teeth. I chose braces :) I took great care of them and each visit at their office they took great care of me. You get Murphy money at the end of your scheduled appointment which is neat because the more you have you get a prize. After one year, my braces came off and I had to wear invisalign to help move some teeth where my braces couldn't. I recently finished my treatment plans and now I wear a retainer. I love the way my teeth look and my smile is so much better! I could say so much more about my experience here! I get that they're trying to create a fun atmosphere for kids while they wait. My daughter is 2 and does not watch screens and there were screens everywhere. I realize I'm the minority with this. The tree in the middle is nice so I was having her point out the different animals in the tree. I appreciate that we had a private room for her first appointment, as I noticed several chairs in an open space. As expected, my daughter cried and was not a fan of getting her teeth looked at.
