Pad Thai with chicken was delicious

Staff were friendly and attentive. Highly recommend if you are in the Burlington area!

Delicious, affordable and large portions. Stopped by on Tuesday evening and the restaurant was packed. The service was quick and efficient so it only about 20 minutes before getting seated. The Massaman curry was super flavorful and the chicken Satay was juicy and tender. I love that you could order extra things on the side like the crispy duck and you can BYOB.

Very cute! Small restaurant and pretty lively. The pad Thai was amazing. Service was good for a small restaurant that seemed like it had a ton of takeout orders. Server and guy working front desk/phone were both pleasant. The papaya salad was supposed to be mild but was very spicy.

    Pad Thai and Som Tam

Ordered take out. Was told 25-30 minutes, food was ready in 20 minutes. In and out quickly on a busy Saturday night. Food was good. Pad Thai noodles slightly over cooked/mushy, but maybe because it sat for 20 or so mins in car before I ate it. Flavoring good for both dishes, large serving sizes. Would recommend both som tam and chicken pad Thai to others and will be back to get more myself!

Went around 7:30pm and there was a long wait for a table. Asked about takeout and was told that wait was at least an hour. Decided to just get snack, so ordered a lemon ginger tea and mango sticky rice. The mango sticky rice came out in 5 minutes, which was unexpected but apparently the cashier stole it from another order to rush me out the door. The dish was okay - nothing special to write home about. The lemon ginger tea was light and refreshing. I might return for the tea but I'll skip the food and the wait.

I was very happy to find this place while we were staying near Burlington. What a treat it is to eat some legit Thai food after such a long time. I will say that this place is super busy. While we were waiting for our food to be packed we must have seen 30 other people come pick up their food. We ordered the pork belly and Chinese broccoli, the Kua Kling, the larb gai, and tom yum and tom kha. Everything was tasty but a bit too salty for me. I'm thinking a bit too much fish sauce. With that said, I still really enjoyed everything and would recommend if you're craving some good Thai

Great curry! Just the right amount of spicy and it was so creamy. The vegetables were nicely done and the chicken was good too!

They had no problem with us moving two tables together to comfortably seat our family of five. Betsy was our server and she promptly brought us water and then came back to take our order a few minutes later. East West Cafe is BYOB, but we were ok with water. We did order one Thai iced tea and it was delicious, especially since it was topped with Cabot whipped cream. We ordered the vegetable gyoza to start, and the five piece order was very good. For entrees, we split the Yellow Curry with Chicken, Pad Thai with tofu, and Pineapple Fried Rice. Oh my goodness, everything was excellent! I really didn't have a favorite, they were all so good, and the portion size was definitely adequate - we had some leftovers to take with us. One member of our party also ordered the Wonton Soup, which included some vegetables in addition to the wontons. We really enjoyed all of our food, the only thing that could have been a little better was the timing. The food was brought out little by little, with the soup arriving last. It would have been nice to receive the soup before the entrees, and to have had the entrees arrive all together. Not a big problem though, and the deliciousness of the food made up for the timing. We will be back!

I got the Malay Curry noodle soup with tofu & vegetables, and buckwheat noodles ($20). It took about 15-20 minutes to arrive despite them being dead, but once the food arrived, I was happy... until I realized they forgot the tofu! Once I told server, they brought out a side of steamed unseasoned tofu right away. The broth was pretty rich and well-spiced, with a deep Malaysian laksa-like broth, lots of veggies (broccoli, cauliflower, carrot and bell peppers), with a generous serving of buckwheat noodles. Pretty tasty stuff overall, albeit a bit pricey. Good spot overall, especially for a such a small town.
