i came here around 7 on a thurs night and was seated immediately. the inside is quite small but cozy. it does get very hot in the summer, so just be aware of that. we ordered edamame to start and i ordered the chicken katsu curry. the edamame was well salted and tasty, but the chicken katsu curry was definitely the star. the curry had a really nice heat to it, and there was ample chicken. the ratio of rice to curry is a little off, but i didn't mind it. my boyfriend, who ordered the chicken katsu bento box, continually dipped his chicken in my curry because it was so good. the only reason this review is getting 4 stars instead of 5 is because the service was lacking. we waited a long time for our orders to be taken, and the server ignored us several times when we needed something. not a bad experience per se, but not up to snuff. the food is excellent though, and their happy hour pricing is great if you come earlier in the day. read more

Asiana Noodle Shop has some pretty great things on the menu, especially at lunch. Get a pretty good variety for a pretty okay price. There's lots more than just noodles to be sure. Came at lunch and we couldn't find it at first. It's easier to find the back of it. The front entrance is located downstairs on Church Street. Got some good deals going on. It's about $15 for the Lunch Set. Get a few choices. The one I got was the House Stir Fry. Comes with a choice of protein such as chicken. I got it with tofu. A pretty good amount of food. This also comes with fruit, green salad, miso soup, and white rice. Good place to go at lunch. It has the best prices at this time. This place was an excellent spot for a pretty good sushi roll. It was 7$ I think for a salmon cucumber roll, which is how much you'd pay for boxed sushi and this was at least fresh. We were in the mood for ramen and we are not ramen experts by any means, but the Tonkotsu ramen here is the bomb! Extremely unprofessional, Pathetic service. Food unknown. Made the fatal mistake of going there for our last dinner in Burlington. Ordered just a Shrimp Shumai, Tonkatsu Ramen & a 5 spice chicken soup. The Shumai took 30 mins & should have raised the alarm bells, waited another 30 mins & finally checked on our order. I cannot begin to stress how much I love Asiana. I moved to Burly a little under two years ago from San Francisco, CA, where asian food is our primary boast. Because of this, coming to Burly was upsetting, food-wise. The Thai food in this area is all pretty great, but I get frequent dumpling cravings, and I couldn't find anywhere that could provide for that. Until this year. I found Asiana Noodle Shop only a few months ago and I am a very frequent flier there. They make almost everything in vegetarian form, and all of it is flavorful. I highly recommend the fried veggie gyoza, the inari (either maki or regular, both are good), the Som Tum (with fried tofu), and the boba. The BOBA. There's about 4 places in all of Vermont where you can get boba and all of them SUCK. EXCEPT Asiana. Their offerings are very few, but that's ok because what they do offer is immaculate. I'm a Quickly person, I don't love ShareTea or Boba Guys or iTea very much, so keep that in mind if you're a boba connoisseur. My big piece of advice for anybody who eats there is to go for mostly the Chinese and Japanese style dishes they offer. The other food isn't bad, but it's clear that Asiana specializes in maki, bento, gyoza, that type of thing, because most of their Thai and Indian food is like 6/10. My husband and I have visited Asiana multiple times since we first came across it 3 years ago when we were still living in NY. We are from Albany, New York; about 2.5-3 hours away and specifically come to Burlington to have lunch or dinner at Asiana. We visit shops, too, but our main destination is always this restaurant! My husband has been to China, and I grew up eating truly authentic East Asian cuisine. We always search out noodle shops wherever our travels take us, and Asiana is one of our all-time favorites! The shop is a little tight, but the ambience is great. The service is always wonderful and the food superb. We will keep making the 2.5-3 hour drive to come here when we visit home! read more
