They no longer clean your teeth. I went in for a cleaning, only to receive x-rays, a gum exam, and a financial agreement. I was told that I need to pay (nearly $700) out of pocket to undergo their new 3 step process to clean my gums. I do not have cavities nor do I have gum issues. When asked if they were going to clean my teeth, they told me that it is no longer a part of the process. If I wanted my teeth cleaned I would need to pay out of pocket. They also told me they wanted to see me every 3-4 months rather than the usual 6 months. What dentist office doesn't clean teeth? Isn't twice yearly cleaning part of my insurance plan? My experience today left me feeling ripped off and part of a greater money grab scheme. My family and I will not be returning. read more

This will likely sound like a repeat of what others have said, but this dentist office only cares about making money. I had an appointment to get my teeth cleaned, and I too walked out empty handed. The dentist tried to prescribe me a mouth guard for $844 while trying to convince me that I grind my teeth. There was no evidence of that whatsoever, just a way to make some extra money from me and my insurance company. I had a couple of teeth that allegedly needed a deep cleaning, and because I said no, they didn't clean my teeth. Here's the worst part. I had a crown that I wanted replaced, but I had no idea that my tooth under the crown was in the shape that it was in. They x-ray me every 6 months and take a bite wing, which is an easy $258 for them, and they x-rayed me on the day in question. Not once did the dentist express concern about my tooth under the crown. She was more interested in the money she was going to make on the crown, which was $2,717. Two days after my bogus appointment, my tooth and crown broke off. How did you not see that in my x-rays? Maybe you should spend more time on actual dental care rather than trying to rip off your patients and their insurance companies. read more

Tiny Town Smiles Dentistry has the most unprofessional staffs ever! I had a 8:30 appointment, got there on time and checked in. The receptionist was very unpleasant but I was called back in a very timely manner. However, after getting x-rays and vitals done, I waited over 30 minutes before the doctor came in and did his evaluation. We discussed a treatment plan even though cleaning was my main reason for going there in the first place. The doctor asked me to wait 5-10 minutes for the care coordinator to come in and go over the cost for treatment even though I explained that it wasn't something I was planning to proceed with right away. Anyways, after another 30 minutes the doctor came back to ask if I was ok. I asked if I could get cleaning done while waiting for the numbers, he said yes and that he would have someone set up for cleaning. Almost 30 minutes later, the coordinator who happened to be the same receptionist came in to the room. I told her that I just wanted to get the cleaning done because the wait was too long and I have to leave for work, and that's when she snapped and yelled that first appointments take 2 hours. I told her that was never mentioned and even if that was the case, im already waiting over 2 hours and they haven't even started cleaning yet. She walked out of the room with an attitude then 11 minutes later another lady came in and started slamming equipments with the nastiest attitude and then walked out. I sat there for another period of time and no one ever came back. I ended up walking out a few minutes before 11a.m. without getting anything done except the x-ray! I will never go back to this place and would not recommend to anyone!! I wish I could give zero star! read more

I've never been to a dentist were they send in a sales rep to pitch more services than you actually need. I was told I needed a deep cleaning and other services that came to well over $300. I asked them for a regular cleaning and was told that since the dentist said I needed a deep cleaning and a regular cleaning would do no good. like the others, I was told that it was the deep cleaning or nothing. I've always dreaded the dentist due to the past 2 decades of bad experiences with private offices and the army. HOWEVER, this place is WAY better than I expected. They work with me and my insurance to make sure that I'll get the best prices possible, I'm always treated great, and everyone is super friendly. They really do work hard on their client experience. I recently had some work done that was put off for years because Army dentists wouldn't remove a permanent retainer. As soon as I asked Dr. Green, I had an appointment to have it removed before I walked out the door. Any time I have an issue, they are able to see me quick and fix it! She was yelling while I was in the office, refusing to speak with my insurance (that they are in-network with) and refused to send a claim for services rendered. I was traveling from California to Clarksville, TN when I developed a problem with my implant. It got very lose and I was unable to eat solids. I stopped by Tiny Town Dentistry to see if they could tighten it up. They took me in right away, contacted my dentist in CA, found out the specs for tightening it, and did a beautiful job at a very reasonable price. Loved all the people that work there. This has been the worst ortho experience I have ever had! The contracted orthodontist overbooks to the point that he doesn't have time to properly treat his patients. A trainee put my braces on and it took over 2hrs, because he had to come in and make corrections. She was a sweet lady, but needed more training. He did not offer a real solution to my issue. I requested the last appointment of the day, so that HE could treat me, during my 6week adjustments instead of a trainee or another dental assistant. He refused and said it wouldn't be fair to his other patients. What's not fair to any of your patients if overbooking sir. A simple request was denied. She did not polish or do any other prep to my teeth before applying the brackets. I was due for a six month cleaning that same month. It was the worst and longest ortho experience I ever had! So now, after a bout with Covid, I have to shop around to find another orthodontist in hopes that I don't run into the same issues or get charged an arm and a leg. I made an appointment as a new patient for a cleaning and exam. They tried to get me to agree to a "deep clean" at a total cost to me of $344. When I refused the dentist told me they would make an exception this time and give me a regular cleaning but in six months if I didn't get their "deep clean" she wouldn't let me get any cleaning. read more

Went in for a cleaning and was impressed at the level of efficiency during this visit. Normally I expect a dentist visit to last an hour. This visit ran under 45 minutes, it was very pleasant and I felt like the appointment was more than sufficient. The office was clean and kept at a comfortable temperature. More importantly, the personnel were straight forward, let me actually see my X-Rays and explained everything during the exam and the cleaning. This was probably the best dentist visit I've ever had. Set a 2nd appointment they cancelled again telling me the selected dentist is leaving the practice. set a 3rd appointment and upon arrival the lady in the office stated they were closed and said we cancelled. we never cancelled. the lady argued and blamed us again saying we must have accidentally selected cancel appointment instead of confirm it when the email was sent. There was no email sent to me to confirm the appointment. There was no text message reminder. No call reminder! I booked an annual checkup and a cleaning which was quoted to me at a charge of $95 which was provided. I found out a few months later that they billed my insurance company over $500 which has a limited amount out of pocket limit. This is a fraudulent charge which I will challange. The doctor and staff are actually good at what they do but the business office will take as much out of your insurance as they fraudulantly can. I don't recomment you sign a "financial contract" as they claim this give them the right to obtain significanly more money that they quoted. read more

I had a terrible experience and will not return. It was my first visit and I had a 4:00 pm appointment. I got there 10 mins early because I knew there would be fill to fill out. After doing the forms, I was told to take a seat and they would be right with me. As I'm waiting another person comes in takes a seat and gets seen within 5 mins. I looked at my phone and saw that I had been waiting for 35 mins. I asked the receptionist about this and was told they are running a little behind. I mention that I had thought that I'd be done by 5:00 pm, and was told for the first time that I was told that the first appointment takes 2 hours. I'm shocked and say you mean I may be here until 7:00 pm? She tells me yes, and asks if I'd like to reschedule, and mentions again that I was told the first appointment is two hours. It was like she was accusing me of not scheduling my time properly it was now almost 5:00 pm with no signs that I was going to be seen anytime soon. So, rescheduling worked out better for them. At no time was my time valued or consideration given to me for the missed appointment time by the office. POOR customer service and treatment. read more

I would definitely recommend them to anyone I know! I went in for a cleaning but expressed to the dentist of other issues I was having. Not only did they do my routine cleaning but made sure I left with the other work I needed! Normally in other dentist offices I would have to wait for a different appointment to get extra work done. I found this business (Tiny Town Smiles Dentistry ) about 8 months ago while searching on google maps in my area. At the time I read some of the reviews both positive and a couple negative. But I decided to go ahead and give then a try, mostly because of location. At first the company seemed ok and I setup appointments for my wife and daughter. Now the thing that totally convinced me of this company's lack of professionalism occurred late Sep 2021. My daughter was scheduled to have her wisdom teeth removed, on a specific day at a specific time. This appointment had been scheduled at least 2 weeks earlier, and I had moved other things around in order to be free during that block of time. Then next I get a call from them THE DAY BEFORE HER APPOINTMENT !!!asking me if I would like to come in at a different time then we had already agreed. I said I could not because had already made other plans. She then went on to say that if I did not come in at the new (suddenly out of the blue / last minute) time that I would loose my $100.00 deposit. WTF!!!.... Now I can fully understand if I had called THEM with a last minute change and messed up their schedule them I should pay. But DEFINITELY NOT! if they are the one's making the last minute sudden change. My family will never do business with them again. I truly wish I could give them a MINUS rating. read more

Waste of time. Had to get X-rays and a cleaning for a mouth guard needed. Asked multiple times if they took my insurance. They stated yes. Appointment was set for 12 (noon). I showed up at 11:44 to fill out paperwork and they tried stating I was late and my appt was at 11:45 and they might not be able to finish today. Filled out the paperwork, did my X-rays and waited. i Could hear him giving his periodontal talk to everyone trying to upsell and book appts today for descaling. Finally came to me and said i had periodontal disease (which I do) and i explained I just need the cleaning right now and would take care of it later. He stated we could do that no worries. Then kept on telling me about the process and how I needed it. I explained my ins will pay. He said he doesn't take my ins. (Which he does) and had to check. Then explained it wouldn't cover the bells and whistles which I supposedly needed. Mind you 0 cavities and said my teeth looked good. I said I can't right now I literally just need a cleaning. He said if I wouldn't do the periodontal cleaning today he wouldn't do the normal cleaning and I could go somewhere else if I chose. Thats like saying we won't do your check up unless you book a non emergent surgery today :) obviously they get money for upsells. read more

I went here because of the reviews that I saw on here. The dentist I saw had absolutely no bedside manner. During my initial exam he never looked inside my mouth and came up with a treatment plan that did not address the immediate issues I was needing addressed. I called back to talk about the Current issues I had, they said they would call back, no call so I called the next day put together a plan and scheduled an appointment. The next week I called to make sure of the treatment plan that I had discussed to make sure of my out of pocket costs, when I spoke to the office manger again she did not know about my upcoming appointment, was very rude , had completely different charges than the original plan. I try to be an understanding person about bad situations but this was one of the worst dental experiences I've had. I moved here last year and was needing to find a new dentist, I normally go to the dentist on a regular basis but due to moving and Covid I was a little behind. I've always had great and healthy teeth, I brush 4-5 times a day and floss everyday as well. When I came in for my appointment I was around 10 weeks pregnant. They had me do x-rays which I was very unsure about, being that you aren't supposed to get them while pregnant, the first time I mentioned it the lady said "it's fine. The second time I mentioned that I wasn't comfortable getting them she told me "it's okay to get them while pregnant and the doctor could come talk to me". I got them and when I went to leave the room I noticed a sign behind me saying to let them know if you are pregnant before getting x-rays, as if they shouldn't have done them on me. I was already panicking and when I went back to see the dentist for a regular cleaning, he told me that I have gingivitis and needed to get it taken care of right away or it would harm my baby. As a first time mom, I was freaking out and they just kept telling me how much harm it could do. They brought in a financial counselor to talk to me and she told me that I should really get it done. I did the procedure because I felt rushed, confused and concerned and it cost me $700. After I told my husband, he said that 2 of his coworkers wives had the same thing happen and when they went to get a second opinion, they were told they didn't have gingivitis. I feel like they saw I was an army wife and first time mom and thought I was naive, I will now be making an 8 hour drive to go to a dentist that I trust. read more
