If I could give this place ZERO stars I would. I went in a month ago to get my gel polish removed. The man doing it used only a nail drill and it took under 5 minutes. I was charged $20 (at most salons this service is around $10). I didn't think much of the use of the nail drill until he was done and I looked at my nails. They were completely pink and HURT. It is now a month later (see photos) and my nails are STILL so painful. The nail is now separating from the nail bed, I still have indentations from where he used the nail drill and now brown lines are appearing (they might be infected?) I WOULD NOT recommend this salon for any service. I am considering filing a report with the Colorado board of cosmetology if they don't somehow make this right. read more

Sadly I had the second worse manicure ever here. It's second because I didn't leave with a nail infection. The staff was kind and friendly which threw me off. The salon was not air conditioned and hot. They overbooked and rushed through my manicure. I left feeling rushed. I got home and realized that my nails looked ok but they never cut the cuticles or fully cleaned the gel from my last manicure at another salon. Not worth the $56 plus $10 tip. i Got a pedicure from & elderly lady & she did fine. However I got a man who did my fill. When I sat down he told me he was very fast doing my nails. He was fast alright but did the worst job I've ever had! When I got to the car the top coat was coming off on my arm. It also got on my seat, my steering's wheel, & my door. My nails Iooked terrible. if that wasn't bad enough he charged me $155.00! The guy who did my nails was really nice but I'm pretty disappointed. This fill cost me $70. The place felt nice inside and seemed professional enough but I don't know how trained they are. My pinky nail that I had replaced on my left hand still looks purple after a few days, and he told me it was because it's fresh...I also had to ask to get a nude coat on my nails instead of just white at the tips (since that would hide my real nails underneath). He initially thought just the clear could would help with that. The white tips also doesn't go all the way to the edges of the nail and only looks okay from up top, but barely, since the white tip is not in a straight line across my nail and some of my fingers have random spots of white, black, or red on them somehow. My left pinky is also noticeably longer than my right because he did not hold them next to each other to compare; and I was told I could not change to almond because it would be "too short." I was in town for a wedding and came here in a pinch with my 5 year old. There was no wait and the staff was friendly. Unfortunately, the quality of service is lack luster. I got a gel mani pedi and my daughter got gel polish on her toes- no pedicure. The services are EXTREMELY overpriced. $160 for gel mani-pedi ( no massage, hot stones etc) and a little girl gel polish. My mani started peeling at 3 days and pedi started peeling at 7. I usually get 7-10 days out of my nails and 4 weeks on my toes. Don't waste your money :/ read more

Ben at Tip Toe Nails is very dishonest. I had a basic pedicure ($35) and a dip manicure($55) and they charged me $105 before tip. When I called to ask why they over charged me, all of a sudden their prices were different and depending on who you get, you will be told different prices. Maybe depending on how you look or how much money they think you have. It's that arbitrary. I wouldn't recommend this place to ANYONE. read more

Got a full set from here and they turned out AWFUL! they were clumpy and only stuck to the bead of my nail, so the tip of the nail wasn't even attached and looked absolutely foul. When I went in the next day to address my unhappiness with the set all they did was file down the sides and apply some glue. I received a shellac pedicure and was I disappointed with the experience poor. I sat luke warm water for 20 minutes while my toes "soaked." I was literally on the verge of getting up and walking out when they finally got to me. Like other reviewers said the prices were vague, what I requested was not what I ended up paying. Since I had so much time to sit and look around I noticed the place is very unkempt. Dusty and run down. I'm reviewing two days after my pedicure and one of my shellac toes peeled off. He told me that he had been doing this for a long time but when I told him that he was doing a bad job with my very short nails, he just ignored me. All I asked for were basic refills. He didn't clean my cuticles and no colored gel was used, only a clear top coat polish, but Ben charged me a full set of nails for $45.00 excluding the tip. The pedicure cost me $45.00 as well for a plain service. They told me $25.00 before the service, but when I was ready to pay, they charged me more than the original prices. They are all about pushing "jelly" upgrades and, if you don't select one, you barely get a massage or a pumice stone swiped across your feet. Came here for a pedicure and a shellac manicure. The pedicure was good--the massage was amazing. However, I think it was incredibly overpriced. The shellac manicure came out nice but again was more expensive then I am use to paying. All this being said, they men that worked there were nice and made you feel comfortable...that was until the end when I went to pay. They tried to push me to pay with cash and when I told them I didn't have enough cash, they tried to push me to use a check. I did not feel comfortable with that. I'm very sad to post this but I have been going to this salon for 7 years and over the last two years, they've steadily gone down hill. Recently, the quality of the work is horrible! They've hurt me and ripped my natural nails to the point of bleeding and the nails don't last. They crumble off in a few days. I'm looking for a new salon. They are RE USING pumice stone for guests! I didn't see a sanitation pack opened to start pedicure. Then the lady accidentally cut my toe and giggled when I pulled my foot back. Constant upselling. I chose the middle of the road pedicure for $55 - and there was nothing special about it. No heated oils, no Epsom salt in the luke warm water, no sanitized tools, no thank you when done, etc. I felt I should soak my foot in bleach just to be on the safe side but my toe still hurts where it was cut. Worst salon in Fort Collins. I had to cancel with Kayla my nail girl and I stopped in here for shellac and to get my toes painted. The man talked me into a $40 pedi, first the water was scolding hot then it was freezing cold,then my right leg started having a reaction, as in a rash from their lotion, which has no ingredients on the bottle, and when I asked them to get me an ingredients list they didn't even attempt to find one. So there was no pedi she painted my toes and did my heels. Oh and the chair I sat in was broke. Then the nail job was awful , she burnt me several times taking the dip I had on off. Once she was done almost all my nails were crooked , I had to file them when I got home, and she left a huge space on several of them. I couldn't wait to get out if that place. Then I ask him ,you're not charging me for a full pedicure are yhe says I'll give you $5 off I'm like whatever , at this point my anxiety is so high it took everything in me to keep from loosing it. First thing, I told them I was in a hurry. An hour later I finally had wet polish on my toes. They barely scrubbed the callus on my heals but tried to charge $15 for a heal treatment. I can scrub harder with a wash cloth in the shower than she did with the filing tool. I asked them to take my shellac off and she left the acetone on my fingers for 40 minutes and my fingers were turning white. She used a nail file to destroy my nails while getting the rest of the shellac off and did not even offer to put lotion on my poor dried up finger tips. I've been going here for a little over a year now and I LOVE it! They are always very sweet and try to make my time restful. They greet me by my first name every time and know that I like to be in and out (as much as I love them ;) bc I'm usually crazy busy, as we all are. I get the Gelish done (mani/pedi) and it lasts for 3-4 weeks every time. They are consistently clean & considerate (I'm a Dr so I appreciate the fact that they keep things clean and sterile and I have never seen anything questionable). Came in for a pedicure with my sister-in-law and had the worst pedicure ever. While seated next to each other the techs SHARED TOOLS AND FILES. I was shocked! They would actually reach over and nab files, buffers, and tools from each other that had already been used on us. Very bad sanitary practice. I paid extra for the massage and the dude simply spent more time applying lotion. Zero massage. Neither of our chairs worked correctly and all the seat padding was gone on mine. I have been going to this nail salon on and off for 3 years. Today, while getting a manicure, the woman doing my nails cut me 8 different times while trimming my cuticles. After that, when she painted my nails, she left bubbles on almost every single nail. She also did not paint all the way to the cuticle, she left a good "5 days of growth" space. When I signaled the owner over and asked if they could put an additional coat of paint on my nail to get it closer to the cuticle, he told me that the color was light enough that it wasn't noticeable and walked away. So I came in for a rebase. I called ahead to make sure they had an opening, he said he did and I still had to wait. Then he did a terrible job on my rebase. The shellac, he didn't use a base. My shellac bubbled up later that day and every single one of my nails had polish peel off by 2 days later. On top of all of that. I went with a friend for pedicures (which were very overpriced - $40 minimum) and watched as the person doing my toes reached over and took tools from the person doing my friends toes!
