So glad we got to experience it. The moment we sat down, the server provided complimentary chips with salsa. Delicious. Some of the many items we ordered were: Guacamole - great. tacos : shrimp, carne asada and lengua. Highly recommend the lengua tacos. Tacos themselves looked and tasted handmade. Chimichanga - large portion and finished with no complaints. Queso ( cheese) Quesadilla : right on point. Kids chicken tenders : embarrassed that we order this but something for the kiddos who haven't or are still developing their palates. Wouldn't recommend though. A bit dry. Wonderful selection of drinks : fountain drinks, frozen lemonade ( delicious) and horchata ( great). They do have a nice bar with a wide selection. Ambiance was laid back and quite quiet with the busy road nearby. 4.35 stars.

I ordered their pupusas (pork and cheese) and it was definitely done right. The steak/shrimp fajitas are also a very good option. Service is quick. I think weekdays their business is a bit slower. Very casual and spacious restaurant but limited parking.

*****3.5 stars*****…read more It's been awhile since I've been to Jazmin Cuisine so decided to stop by for linner since we were starving and it was on the way home. The wings are definitely where it's at here - plump, juicy, and packed with flavor. They do take some time to cook, so be sure to order this first. I also shared the tres leches which was also really good. Unfortunately the rest was just okay - quesadilla not crispy and the carnitas again lacked flavor. Chicken burrito packed with more rice and beans than chicken, which had decent flavor though. Service was friendly and they did their best to keep the line moving.

Finally back in town where they make REAL tacos!!…read more Listen... after being away and surviving on what Vegas calls tacos, coming back home and hitting Jazmin's Cuisine felt like a full cultural reset. One bite and I remembered exactly why Maryland's Latin cuisine stands on business. The tacos? Packed with flavor, seasoned like somebody's abuela was in the back making sure it was done right. Fresh toppings, tender meat, and tortillas that tasted like they actually matter. No shortcuts. No playing around. And let me be clear -- Jazmin hits WAY harder than Chipotle. Not even the same conversation. This is the kind of food that reminds you what authentic is supposed to taste like. Vegas couldn't touch this if they tried. If you want real flavor, real culture, and real tacos... stop scrolling and pull up. Jazmin understood the assignment.

1/5 Unfortunately,…read morethis place was a huge disappointment. Honestly, the customer service made the entire experience worse. We came in smiling, excited, and ready to spend money trying a new Mexican spot. Instead, we quickly got the impression that our business was an inconvenience. Let's start with the prices. I ordered a maracuyá (passion fruit) drink for $4.19, and my husband ordered a cranberry drink for $4.19. Neither is refillable, which I normally wouldn't even complain about, but that's over $8 for two basic non-alcoholic drinks. For perspective, I buy the maracuyá drink mix at the Mexican market for less than $5, and that one package makes at least FIVE drinks this size. I'm saying this mostly because they were making money off of us. They brought us chips and salsa when we sat down. Most Mexican restaurants around here offer unlimited chips and salsa, so when we finished the first basket, we asked for another. He brought it. After bringing our drinks, however, the man helping us took forever to come back to take our food order. Another staff member repeatedly walked around us like we were invisible. Eventually, we had to WAVE HIM DOWN just to place our order. We ordered chile con queso WITH BEEF, exactly as it was labeled on the menu, along with chile relleno with beef. The queso arrived WITH NO BEEF. We very kindly pointed out that the beef was missing. Instead of simply saying, "Oh, sorry about that," and correcting it, he seemed confused and started going back and forth with us about it. We asked for the menu because we knew what we had ordered. He took the cheese dip away, went toward the kitchen, and then YELLED across the restaurant to us that it would be $9.36. My husband responded that was fine because THAT WAS WHAT WE ORDERED. Then somehow the chips became another issue. When our almost $10 queso dip came back, there were NO CHIPS brought with it. When we asked about chips, he responded with an attitude that he wasn't going to give us any more. My husband, genuinely confused at this point, asked how exactly he was supposed to eat the queso. With a spoon??? Well, apparently so, because the man came back with another basket of chips... AND A SPOON. You seriously can't make this stuff up. And that really sums up the experience. Restaurants make mistakes. That wasn't the problem. It was the attitude, the lack of attentiveness, having to wave someone down just to order, arguing over something clearly listed on the menu, yelling a price across the restaurant, and then acting bothered over providing chips for a nearly $10 DIP. We walked in happy, friendly, and excited to try somewhere new. We left knowing we will never come back. My advice? There are more than enough Mexican restaurants in the Muddy Branch/Gaithersburg area to choose from. Try one of the others. Based on our experience, this place clearly has enough business that making new customers feel welcomed and valued isn't a priority.

Parking was easy with a large garage right next to the restaurant, which made it especially convenient before heading to a show nearby. When we walked in, the bar was packed with people watching the game, and it had a fun, lively atmosphere. It definitely looked like a great place to catch a sporting event. The service was excellent from start to finish. The owner even came over to introduce himself, which was a really nice touch and made us feel welcome. The chips and salsa were good, just what you'd hope for at a quality Mexican restaurant. We ordered the shrimp fajitas, regular fajitas, and a couple of quesadillas from the kids menu. Even though the menu says it's for kids 8 and under, they were happy to let our slightly older kids order from it. It was a fantastic value, although I'd recommend it more for kids around 12 and under based on the portion sizes. Everything we ordered was fresh and flavorful, but the standout was definitely the homemade tortillas. They were outstanding. I also asked for a hot sauce, and they brought out a fresh green sauce that completely elevated the meal. I'm not sure exactly what was in it, but it was incredible. Great food, friendly service, easy parking, and a welcoming atmosphere. We'd definitely come back and would highly recommend Rango's to anyone looking for excellent Mexican food in Virginia.

Another food runner immediately brought us water and chips and salsa. The salsa tasted a little bland and felt like it was missing some salt or some other seasoning/ingredient. We ordered another round but it was about the same. The chips were great. The seafood enchiladas I ordered were flavorful and there was a great spread of guacamole, sour cream, beans and rice. The plates were served hot and the kitchen had the good come out quite quickly which was appreciated. We'll be back!
