Never had one problem at all at the salon. Today I had an absolute awful experience. I don't know if Linh is not experienced in Gel-X fill (she didn't even clean underneath my fingernails at all and they came out all lumpy) or she just had a bad day. Automatically she was in a bad mood the minute I sat in her chair. She had on a "stank" face and the way she spoke to me was extremely rude (what did IIIIIIII do to you??). No big deal I thought, everyone has a bad day! But then she proceeded to do my nails and literally made almost every single one of my fingers bleed! Like blood was coming out! Coming to the salon should be relaxing, but she made me stress out so much that my hands started shaking! Couldn't enjoy the pedicure that I was getting done at the same time at all!!!! I'm including a picture, and mind you that's after cleaning up all the blood. And it's only my left hand, my right one is worse!!! Do not get your nails done by Linh, she's awful, rude, disrespectful and just not good at her job at all!!!!!!!! NEVER had I more worse experience in a nail salon my whole life, and I'm almost 40! P.S. she also had extremely dirty gloves on (stained yellow that they started turning dirty brown), that also were ripped on some of her fingers! I go to Tina for pedicures, and she is fast but takes good care of you! Cindy and Sophie are also wonderful! My friend chose the third pedicure option and gel nails nail polish to match her feet. After it was all done I found out I had the 3rd option not what I selected -at a higher cost than I anticipated. They left my price at the one I selected which was fair. I will caution you - be clear about what you want - I suggest Star give a written menu and you select your choice in writing - to save any uncomfortable miscommunication. This can potentially lose clients. I did feel like I was unknowingly upsold. All said they did such a nice job and everyone that helped us was very nice. They did an excellent pedicure/manicure. Took their time. My friend looked beautiful she had gel nail polish and gel toenail polish! II will say everything was done without feeling hurried and I would recommend them.
