He had an eye infection randomly and Cheyenne was ON IT and very helpful with providing me and vet for him. She is incredibly kind and just genuinely wanted my little guy to have a good life.

Upon walking dog and his brother dog inside (a rescue with separation anxiety who always comes along so as not to wake my neighbors), there was an aggressive acting pit bull in the car next to us. The owner stepped out, leaving her dog in the car to check in, apologizing about him. I said it was ok. I check my dog in and sit in the dog area with adaptil diffuser, our custom. Then I overheard the pit owner say upon check-in that she wished to keep her dog separate from others, as he was still in the car (weather was fine for this). I immediately breathed a sigh of relief. A staff member then takes us to our waiting room. The vet tech enters the room and closes the door. She asks if we got a weight on my dog at check-in and I said no but that I did NOT want my dog to come into contact with the pit. VT opened the door to said animal entering to check out my dog, owner at the other end of his leash. I then said please shut the door. I don't want this. VT continues to ignore my wishes and refuses to simply shut the door (pit restrained and shutting door would be easy). I then more insistently said I don't want this PLEASE shut the door. VT still refused, though I was clearly distressed. She even pushed to facilitate a meet-n-greet, though neither I nor the pit mama wanted this. FINALLY, the door is shut and in an effort to explain--yes after all of that I tried to explain MY actions, my experience in Indy with actual killer pit bulls--VT inexplicably turned to me and says that I need to take a deep breath and calm down. I said what I NEED is to leave. She said, ok! And that was the FIRST time she respected ANY of my wishes or boundaries to ensure physical and emotional safety for myself and my furkids There is absolutely no way I am letting her take my animal into a back room where I cannot watch her. If she has zero compassion, empathy, or respect for a paying, clearly speaking, human client, then how is she going to care for a nervous animal in distress. I am extremely disappointed that VCA, that Dr. Chad Colborn, would on his staff have someone with such blatant disregard--even contempt--for the clients and wonderful animals who keep the lights on. BE VERY CAREFUL HERE.

A friend who does my hair recommended Dr. Baker to me. And they have exceeded my expectations. Dr. Baker, Dr. Dave, and their staff really care for their patients. My old girl, Layla, had lost a lot of weight and was having trouble getting around. We did a quality of life evaluation with Dr. Baker, and although Layla was getting close, she hadn't given up. Dr. Baker noticed that, and said "You're her human." A month later, I was going to have my knees replaced and asked Dr. Baker if she could recommend someplace that could board Layla in her declining condition for a few days until I got home. Without hesitation, Dr. Baker said she would have her staff do it. After my surgery, I was able to spend a few days with Layla. They also operate a walk-in wellness center on Sagamore Parkway and Greenbush that is open on Wednesday - Friday afternoons and Saturday until 1 pm. Their prices are reasonable and the care is fantastic. Layla, Hurley, and now puppy Sage get to enjoy their care.

Our vet doesn't make house calls so we contacted Dr. Dan Crowe. Dr. Dan was great and very compassionate. The very first thing he said was sorry to hear that. He was at our house within 6 hours of our contacting him even though we had never been to him before and he had to drive over an hour to our house. His communication was awesome making sure we understood exactly what was happening and what to expect. He even let our Rottweiler boy, Max, be there. Kezzy Bear was an awesome girl that didn't deserve to suffer from her cancer and Dr. Dan knew that. Dr. Dan made her passing pain free and stress free. We miss Kezzy Bear every moment and knowing we will see each other again at the rainbow bridge makes it more bearable. Thank you Dr. Dan! Andy and Jackie

I moved to Chicago 4 years ago and literally was driving back and forth to this place for my little Lulu! That is how much I believed in them! Well until Dr. Amanda worked there anyways. Couple of years ago, Dr. Heather Baker (the worst vet on Earth who needs to resign from her duties) took lulu to neuter him! Well you won't believe what happened instead! She neutered him partially! I mean your one job that day is to neuter a dog! Where you doing your nails? Watching a video? Fighting with your husband or staff?? What on earth where you doing that you only removed one of his testicles??? Yes you heard that right. I did not COMPLAIN not one word! I did not ask for one single thing! Not even to be compensated! All you offered back then was to do it AGAIN for free. Lulu is below 6 pounds so imagine what that meant for him and me to be put under anesthesia AGAIN! It killed me, and put him under a lot of stress! Maybe that even caused his heart disease! All that stress! But again, I did not say A WORD back then! Quite the opposite! I said: no problem! It can happen! But let's be honest! Can it?? Anyways it is April 9, 2020 and the Coronavirus Pandemic is happening. Meaning stay at home orders have been issued and no one can go anywhere. Lulu's flee medicine has been all used up (he uses revolution) so I called to get new ones. They said he needs to do a heartworm test before giving him new ones, and I said I understand! But as that could not happen due to the stay at home order she told me to come get chewables instead the next moRning. My husband and I went down to Lafayette that same night and stayed with his parents who live there. The next day scott my husband went to their main clinic which is located on a beautiful farm in Lafayette. He picked them up and brought them home only for me to find them EXPIRED! They had expired on January 1!!!! Are they trying to kill my dog who is prone to getting flees and has a heart disease and a heart murmur???like for real?? They charged him $50 for three tablets and only gave two on top of that!!! Unbelievable!! I am so mad and frustrated! No wonder Dr.Amanda left that place!! I called them left a voice mail Right now, and am requesting not only my money back but might also look into legal matters. This is becoming dangerous! Not sure how they are allowed to operate anymore! But I will get to the bottom of that.

He got very sick at Christmas and it has been a nightmare for me ever since. If not for Dr Baker and her loving heart and expertise, I probably would have lost Micah by now. What we thought was a foreign object ended up being a swollen gallbladder. We are treating it accordingly. My whole point is, Dr Heather Baker made time every time I called to get us in. She (and all her staff)have have diligently loved and care for my Micah dog without hesitation. I would never take my animals anywhere else (especially not Purdue). Dr Baker is loving, caring, and the absolute best. It's unbelievable how many people put such terrible reviews but no one puts good reviews. Thank you Dr Baker for all your love and support.
