My family members were patients of Dr. Casella's eye clinic for years; however, due to their…read morebilling staff member, Shana being rude and ugly to me on several occasions we will never return to this eye clinic. Every time we come to see him for an eye exam, we get a bill even though our insurance had stated that we are covered. Stupidly, I continued to pay even though they have shady ways of doing business. We have even called the insurance company and had 3 way conversations stating that the service was covered. This weekend I received another bill and contacted their billing department and this person was again rude and nasty telling me she was not going to resubmit the claim even though she clearly remembered having the 3 way call with my husbands insurance company. I will never ever go back to this eye clinic and hope that you choose a different eye doctor before you go and have to deal with these nasty people who work in his office's billing department. I have never been talked to by an office staff member before in this manner and I refuse to be talked to in the condescending way that I've been spoken to by this person. Dr. Casella, you really should consider getting a different person to handle claims for your office. I asked to speak with you so I could tell you myself and I was ignored.

My mother is a patient here and they honor my insurance here so those were all pluses!!! The staff and doctors here are very friendly and gives you the utmost respect while in their care. I had two appointment with Dr. Ben. He checked my eyes to make sure they were in tip toe shape and he fitted for contacts. The contacts that I was given were and still are the best ones I've ever used. Previous ones would dry out and kind of irritate my eyes but the one he issued me feels like I'm not wearing anything at all!!! I love that!!! I also purchased glasses here as well!!! The lady who help with the glasses purchases is super friendly and very helpful!!! I had a hard time deciding what I liked and didn't like, she gave great suggestions. I went with her suggestions and I think I will have a great pair of glasses. This business also keeps up with its customers by sending appointment reminders and letters in the mail. This is what the last place I used lacked in and I'm grateful that I found a place that didn't miss that mark!!! I think this place will do fine with all my eye care needs!!!!

In between having my eyes dilated and the actual exam I was asked to sit in the reception area for 30 minutes which ended up being well over an hour and a half. I honestly believe she left the facility and came back because there were no other eye patients there . I spent the entire day waiting at this office. She offered no apology and was not knowledgeable about the results and was sarcastic at one point . She gave very little info about my exam . I will never return to this facility and I have no confidence in her ability as a healthcare professional. Go to The Eye Guys for professional help with your eyes. They are actual medical doctors and the wait time is better. My visit to specs was a complete waste of time and money .

I took a chance on going here as I seem to change companies almost every year due to inadequate service. As soon as I arrived I was greeted and asked what I needed! Rare these days. I was asked this by the other 2 people working there while I was there (I was there for over an hour because it takes me a long time to decide on frames). After picking out my frames I did get my lenses and price for them, a bit expensive due to them not accepting my EyeMed insurance, which was an error on my part reading the wrong location online. That is the only negative aspect of this was them not accepting my eye insurance. They seem to work with everyone, insurance or not, to get a better price than the base price. I was there long enough to see and hear interactions with other customers and I wasn't the only one who was waited on quickly and helped throughout their process. I picked up my glasses a few day's earlier than anticipated, Sally who assisted me did say it would be less than two weeks. She was great by the way! I was assisted immediately walking in even though he was already helping other people and another person walked in also behind me and was greeted just as nicely. This employee seemed to be the only one there at the time but still was helpful and very nice. My glasses fit great which is such a relief after a couple of years of glasses being such a mess. There are some reasons you may wait for a long time. He may be swamped with patients that come see him from a multi state area. He practices a triage approach and takes time to treat emergencies .. your also. At my first injection (me on aspirin) my eye bled, turned black crusty. When I called service on Sunday, he called back in 10 minutes and told me to come into office (after we both completed some work). His staff routinely stays late, 7 pm, or later fridays....until done. Delays due to emergencies. This guy is a diamond and augusta is blessed to have him. I will wait for treatment. I want to keep my vision as long as possible. If your priority is your eyesight, go here.

The diagnosis in 10 mins - No bleeding in eye. Maculate degeneration. and vision is stable. Calcium in cornea. Remove calcium as it gets worse with vision. Risks. Ask doc smith, corneal specialist. next spring. Or late fall. Bring something to read or do. Finished within 2 hours. No bleeding...
