What a great experience! I have been going to Nail Garden ever since they opened, and Stephen is amazing with my nails! Always a great job, if one breaks (rarley happens) he fixes it no prob and quickly. The pedicures are THE BEST here! Never go anywhere else! And belive me, I have tried everywhere in Hillsboro! :) The girls take there time, they give you water bottles, warm neck pillows, steamy hot towells, and magazines. Awful...my friend and I tried this place out and we were hopeful about it...well...unfortunately I can't put a 3-4 star like I wanted...the nail tech jacked up my fingers as she was doing my full set and I have slices of skin that are dry blood on four of my fingers and they still hurt and I got them done 4 days ago..my hands are not pretty and they hurt...I would not recommend them even after I told the lady please be careful she still wasn't and just told me to relax...and boy that's been the worst pain I've ever experienced at a nail salon...and to top it off, she still charged me full price...wasn't even worth $20 with how jacked my fingers look...so I didn't tip...horrible service and not gentle at all...sad read more

My first pedicure in Oregon was here. I got the hour long pedicure from a sweet lady with short hair. They gave me a warm neck pillow and removed my tester polish from my thumb without me having to ask. It was less busy the first time I went. The second time I chose the extended classic, but got someone else and it was pretty painful for the entire first half. But the latter portion of the pedicure was absolutely wonderful. It was the best massage I've ever had, and the detail on the nailpolish was great. It was semi-busy. And this last time I went with my mother and aunt, who were visiting, and my friend. We did not have reservations and this was the most business I've seen here. I didn't think it would be that busy on a Thursday before most people get off work. The water was insanely hot, and my aunt had to wait quite a bit. The inside is nice and clean, the chairs are oddly orgasmic (I can't have that booty air puff thing on, it's too weird), it doesn't smell like chemicals, and the prices are reasonable for the awesome services offered. In Nevada, my female relatives and I always went to the same place and paid more for less. My aunt was surprised to see the price of this pedicure v. the price of the pedicure she normally gets in Nevada, and exclaimed, "Holy crap. That is the best pedicure I've ever had." I don't know what they do, but the nail polish stays on for much longer than it usually does. read more

A few of my friends & co workers have been here several times over the last 5 years or so. Currently as of late 2022. I would not come back to Nails garden. We came of a mid day weekday. Not buzy at all. They used to give little refreshments & we were not offered anything. Many other places offer this. Their FB says they offer this as well. Last time we came here which was in October 2022. Our upper level pedicure packages alone, which was supposed to be shellac were $50 or more each and they didn't even use the LED light at all. Each step including the lotion, rock massage and the wax treatment etc were super fast and hurried even though there was only one other person in the whole salon. The two ladies spoke to each other with almost no consideration for us the entire time. This isnt a big deal itself but in the context of the entire experience it felt hurried and awkward and like we were an annoyance to them. Unfortunate. The most shocking element that occurred to both me and my friend was they did not use an LED light or any kind of light after giving us the supposed shellac pedi so we questioned if it was shellac at all. Within a few days both of our nails are chipping. So we're pretty sure it wasn't the service we paid for. We won't be back. A lot higher quality places & experiences to chose from. read more

I have been a customer for years they have great service but after getting a new set a few days ago My finger was cut with the drill now it's infected and I'm on antibiotics. Just make sure what they're using is clean this is extremely painful. I definitely will not be going back. read more

I used to go here for pedicures because they took walk ins, but I hadn't been back while my toenail fungus healed. Went back yesterday for pedi with sugar scrub (for my feet) but the obviously new person scrubbed the skin off my legs instead. Of course she wasn't paying attention to me as they were all having a very loud conversation in their language. I asked her to stop, but it was too late. Then more pain, hot rocks to bruise my shins and no oil before the hot towels! I had to ask for lotion because my legs were on fire. The toenails turned out ok, but the whole thing took almost 90 minutes! Thank goodness they were closing or I'd never gotten out of there. I won't go back there ever. read more

I always was able to walk in get a pedicure right away, the staff was professional and it's close to the places I shop. But last time I went in I came out with two tiny cuts around my cuticles that got larger over night and took a couple of painful weeks to heal. I came back to read reviews to find a new place and saw others have experienced the same thing. Does someone there need a pair of glasses? Something is up. I just left Nail Garden and will never ever go back or recommend this place. I had my nails done at a different salon a week ago and the polish chipped that night (my fault). I dropped by Nail Garden as a walk in and told the woman I just needed one nail painted. She told me no, that I had to do them all over. I finally convinced her that one nail is fine so we sit down and she starts to rub the polish off, told me that there is a gel coating so she has to redo all of my nails. To reiterate, these are not fake nails, I just had my nails painted with a friend for fun. I rarely get my nails done so I had no clue what was on them. All I knew is that they were pink to be fair. So there I was sitting in the Nail Gardens being told she won't do only one nail so I told her to forget it and that I'd go buy a polish and do it myself. I'm not having everything redone when only one nail was slightly chipped. In my opinion, they just wanted my money for a full redo. No thank you. I walked out and the women getting pedicures looked a bit shocked (because they'd overheard the conversation - the woman was being really loud). Who knows, maybe they thought I was rude or maybe they were as embarrassed as I was. Anyway, don't go there. I'm embarrassed and annoyed by their treatment. read more

The staffers are very nice, especially the elder lady with glasses. She really tries to speak English, and it's great to see her making an effort and going outside her comfort zone. My tech was twisting my finger sideways while she was filing & 3 of my nails are crooked. I heard about the nail salons in Oregon having you purchase a manicure kit $1 or a pedicure kit $2 so when you go to a nail salon, you would always bring those kits with you just for sanitary purposes. I kinda wish California would do that. But anyways, I didn't know about that until a friend mentioned to me as I was mentioning that I was going to visit a local nail salon. Nail Garden is nestled between the hustle and bustle of Cornell and Cornelius Pass Rd. It's next door to Hot Pot N' Sushi, Noodles & Co, Panera Bread and Jamba Juice on Cornell mostly. The prices in Hillsboro for a pedicure are a bit steep for me, compared to LA prices where you would get a combo of a mani/pedi for only 25. But I was willing to give it a try since my feet needed a good R&R from a hike a few days ago. The basic pedi started off at a $20. I took the next package which was $25. I was bewildered and amazed that for my $25 spent for a deluxe pedi (it was the usual pedi that included a paraffin wax and a longer leg massage) was well worth the price. I do say that Nail Garden really takes care of you and really spends the time on your nails. The massages are GREAT and my legs and feet were refreshed at the end of my time there. Nail Garden also offers you water as well. Nail colors are from O.P.I. or China Glaze (which is what you see from special retailers for nail stuff). The Spa Pedicure seat offers you a massage and there are also 2 flat screen TVs for your enjoyment. I'm used to paying cash for my nail services, but what I like about Nail Garden is that they accept anything from debit, credit and cash! I tipped the lady in cash. Other services that the salon offers other than the manicure are waxing (your typical waxing areas). Overall, I'm glad I was able to get my pedicure here and would probably come back here for one again. I'll also probably try a manicure here too. read more

Been going to this specific nail salon for the past 3 years. My friends and I are considered somewhat as "regulars" here. I mainly get the Pedi's but they do a pedi/mani combo for $35. The Classic Pedi alone is $25. I like the service that is provided. They do a wonderful job, taking the time that is needed to have a very nice nail finish. The give your feet and nails the attention that they need with a fabulous 15 minute foot massage. First time clients, if you don't have a nail kit already with you, they will provide you one - it's $2 for a pedicure kit and $1 for the Manicures. They do it for sanitary causes. read more

When Nail Garden first opened it's doors it would have received a 4 star rating. However, the last 3 times I have visited I have been extremely disappointed. The Pros: 1. Place is clean 2. Customer service is great 3. Pedi chairs are very comfortable 4. Excellent massage given with mani and pedi The Cons: 1. They thin the polish to make it last longer for them 2. The manicures never last more than a day due to thin polish 3. Products used are mediocre 4. Often times you will sit in a chair for over 30 min. waiting for service, when you had been told it's only 5 min. wait In the future if I go back I will be bringing my own polish so I'm not as disappointed. read more

I was very clear about what I wanted and she didnt understand me which was okay but she continued to be rude and make me so uncomfortable more than 5 times and laughed in front of the whole nail salon. My daughter and I went in on Sunday, she wanted a full set of acrylic nails and I wanted a pedicure. We were sat pretty quickly, the water was extremely hot in the pedicure tub. The tech added some cold water and it was fine. My daughter had to wait for a few minutes before getting the full set of nails. There was 1 technician working on that station. The pedi was nice and relaxing. They have a large selection of Shellac/gel polish. I decided to get a manicure as well. The manicure was very basic, the usual hand and forearm massage was left out. Overall I really like my mani/pedi. My daughters polish was completely bubbled up and peeled off by Monday morning. My husband took her in and the Tech fixed to polish and did 2 rounds to treat the shellac for no charge. Overall I would say that it was a good experience. read more

How very sad I have to write a review like this my very first. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT:::::MY GRANDDAUGHTER AND I WON'T COME BACK; I had the $40.00 pedicure really wasn't worth the money. Nails trimmed unevenly, didn't file down the trimmed toenails. Filed down my heels but not really still have roughness. Rubbed legs with some type of lotion but left globs on my leg. I had to wipe off. Leg massaged but was with same motion repeatedly felt terrible. Had a refreshing "WARM" diet coke how thoughtful. Waited long time to pay all in all just a terrible time. Took Granddaughters for her birthday. Wish I hadn't. Granddaughters toe nails became infected. Her pedicure was poor, looked terrible after we walked out. I told Her to go back in, She didn't want to don't blame her. $25.00 + $38.00 + $40.00 plus $10.00 Tip =$113.00 what a waste of time and money. Owner is crooked! This is based on her other location nails 4-u . I asked for an acrylic set. The sign says $25. I also got a shellac expected to pay a little more for it and was charged $40 because she said that she did solar nails and they don't have acrylic set any more. Aside from being too expensive and taken advantage of, the Rude technician didn't even talk to me and when she asked me how they looked she was irritated that I pointed out they were not shaped well, and extremely flat and too thick. I ended up waiting for the owner and she could only make excuses for her technician. Worst set I've ever had put on. This lady also owns nail garden so I will post my review there as well. They said yes we have to charge you like she had the tips and full set because we used the powder. I said you didn't explain that when we asked for ombré and then we had to have her nails done AGAIN! You said we just apply the powder with a brush. Not that we would have to charge you for a full set, even though that's not what we are giving you. She just said we would apply the powder with a brush. STAY AWAY...they don't explain what they are charging you ahead of time. I have been coming to this place for shellac manicures and pedicures for a while now and the pedicures are always great! No complaint there. However my shellac manicure recently has been nothing but trouble. I had the manicure done about 3 weeks about and 5days after getting it done the polish started peeling off and breaking my nails. This had never happened before with my other manicures done here so I figured it may have been something wrong with the polish, idk so I went back and they fixed the entire set completely free! I was very thankful but I felt rushed and the nail tech did not do a very good job. There were bubbles and the polish just didn't look as shiny as it did the first time. And again only 1week after having them fixed they are starting to peel and break my nails again. I am VERY disappointed....may be finding a new place to go from now on..... :( read more
