Excellent. Firstly, I am very satisfied with my manicure. My only comment is I wished they spent a little more time on removing extra cuticles that were missed on one side of my hands. The lady was quick and precise with applying my polish. Very happy! I was later transferred over to another station for my pedicure and another lady assisted. I saw a sign for callus removal for an extra $4 since this promotion valid with a mani service. My only comment at this station is that the callus removal gel did not covered around my heels, only at the base. Total time was exactly 1.5 hrs. Definitely will be back !!! read more

Horrible....at first everything looks good. But the owner Kathy is beyond nasty and disrespectful. If I was able to give her zero stars I will with no hesitation. My husband and I went for regular spa pedicures and manicures. When I sat with Kathy I mentioned to her that I needed one nail to be WRAPPED IN ACRYLIC AS THE NAIL WAS CRACKED RIGHT ON MY SKIN. Okay so I sit there with acetone and aluminum foil....soaking my gel polish off. Cool granted! Normal method even though not healthy for the nail. Pedicure was fine....Kathy you must think you are on fifth avenue in the upper east side. I paid 70 dollars for a pedicure!!!! 25 bucks just because it was gel color. It all went down hill when Stacy started my manicure. I mentioned to the owner that I needed one nail to be wrapped AS SOON AS I GOT IN. But she obviously did not understand.....that's the card ppl that are foreigners play all the time. I didn't understand....FOH. You understood! Stay away..... If you have cuticles that you want them to remove.....they won't. They use the machine to give you the illusion that the cuticles are removed. All they are doing is pushing them inside even more. When I told Kathy about the cuticles not being removed by STACY....that's when she thought I must have never gotten a manicure before. Telling me that they paint the nail first and then address the cuticles. Where the fuck they do that at??? And I ended up ripping the broken nail right at her station. Blood all over the place! It's been over a year and a half since I've been to this nail salon. Prior, I went there religiously for over 6 years. The last time I was there I was 8 months pregnant and was burned so badly by the callous remover I had to eventually go to the emergency room. I went there around 6 that day and I believe Cathy was in such a rush she started my pedicure and then another woman finished it. In between she applied the callous remover so sloppily that it got onto the top of my feet and caused horrible burns and now scarring. Paid over 2500 dollars in hospital expenses since I was pregnant and stayed overnight. The moment I alerted Cathy that something wasn't right and it was burning she immediately removed the wrapping, rinse my feet and rushed to get the neosporin. She actually charged me the 30 dollars that day too. Writing this to hopefully help someone else out. read more

Went Saturday morning around 10 for a pedicure. There were a few customers but no wait. The Korean ladies there were all friendly and speak English well. The pedicure was thorough. Loved the massage and hot stones, albeit brief. I wish they include paraffin wrap for the heels, like Heaven Nails in Maywood. However, I like the cleaner and serene environment at Tips N More better. Also, the service seemed more intimate and friendlier. I got like 15sec shoulder massage while my nails were drying. $20 for pedi works for me. I think this will be my go-to place for pedi from now on. read more

Came here because of the amazing reviews and how many ladies thought this place was amazing and had a lot to offer.. Won't be returning. There was issues with making an appointment, was yelled at in front of the entire salon for a mistake that was not mine but another staff member. I had to make another appointment to come back and get extensions done because my nails were short (70$ gave me a 5$ discount for the issue that had occurred prior^). My nails were extremely wide and uneven (see picture) I was told that it was like that because my nails were short... then what's the point of the extension? The nail paint job was not great either. Great service! This was my first time going here and Danny and the lady that did my pedicure did a fantastic job. I got gel nails, which it consists of him actually forming the nail with gel. Paid $70 and $21 for my pedicure. Yes! It is expensive, but well worth it. If you want acrylic do not go to this place because they don't have them. This place is a well kept secret. I stumbled upon this while driving. The gel manicures last about three weeks and the pedicures are AMAZING. The staff is really friendly and they make efforts to remember your name. The prices are a bit higher than other salons, but the service beats others salons. During the manicure, you get a hot towel massage on your shoulders. Sometimes during the pedicure, you can find floating lemons or rose petals in your water. I love this salon!!! I have been going to tips n more for almost 3 years. Very hit or miss. The main reason I keep going back is for the included paraffin with their regular manicure - since I work with my hands. I would like to preface this by saying that I don't get easily mad or upset. I have a very mellow, sweet, easy-going personality, so the experience was that bad that I had to leave this review. Today was one of the worst times I have gone. I understand it is busy at times, but there is just no management or communication there - especially with the customers. I sat down for my manicure first, and I was so disappointed! The woman totally rushed through it - barely spent any time with me. She even took the wax off my hands while it was still hot! The main reason I go to them! Manicure was finished in under 10 minutes (I didn't get polish). I was angry when I was finished, but I decided to just go with it... While sitting in the pedicure chair with plain bubbling water for the next 30 minutes, I did try to look for a manager to speak to. There was none. I was done. I got up, stepped back into my flip flops, and left my $10 cash on the counter for the below subpar manicure. I walked right out the door. I understand that you go to a nail salon to get your nails done. But it should be a relaxing experience, and you should be leaving with a smile on your face. Today was not that day. I love this place! Every time I come in I am greeted with a smile, and treated very well. It's a little pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for. Their manicures and nail services come with a complimentary scrub, paraffin treatment, and neck/shoulder massage. Great place! I'm writing here about only the manicure- it was a very reasonable price AND THEY DID A PARAFFIN TREATMENT GUYS WHEN IS THE LAST TIME YOU HAD A PARAFFIN TREATMENT?!?! It's great. The owner is very friendly, as are the nail technicians. The gel manicure is kinda pricey (it was either 30 or 35, I don't remember) but that's the higher end of gel manicures. They have a great selection of colors and some serious spa pedicures (I didn't get one because, lets face it, it was December and who cares about feet bundled up in boots) but will definitely be back. Its a small cozy place without the overwhelming smell of acetone and chemicals making you gag (live I've smelled in some salons). Definitely stop by- especially for that paraffin treatment. I love this place! Good service and great prices. Suzy does an amazing pedi. I've been going to Nail House on Anderson for years. I had no idea what I was missing. This is now my go-to place. 4/14/16 Wow! I really must have jinxed myself yesterday when I left that 5 star review. I went in today looking forward to the same great treatment I always get, only to be disappointed by almost everything. I usually pick my regular pedi polish to match my gel mani, but today they said they'd pick it out for me. By the time I saw the colors in the light, it was too late. The colors are too far apart to even pull it off. I told my pedicurist to please avoid cutting the sides of my nails. But wouldn't you know, she did it anyway. I hadn't seen this girl before and she didn't tell me her name. That's because she was more interested in all the things that weren't happening out the window on Main St. I honestly couldn't figure out what she could have been looking at. Green garage door? Broken chair on the curb? Then I thought, maybe it's one of those dissociative coping mechanisms because she hates feet. But I really couldn't convince myself that my feet were extraordinary enough for her to want to project her soul to another place. By this point I was getting steamed. Then my pedi gets smudged by my flip flop. But why? You might ask. Simple, because she didn't think we needed the paper between my toes to act as a buffer. Now we're going on hour 2. Ok, mani time. I was happy to have Suzy again, but completely disappointed in the job she did today. From the time I walked I she was busy fawning over this man getting a mani and pedi. My old gel was soaking off nicely in these new finger traps but before Suzy started painting she didn't take off the rest of my polish and just started painting over it. I noticed this and pointed it out and she assured me it would be covered. I know what you're thinking. You're thinking that Suzy was right because she's a professional. Well you're wrong and so was Suzy. I mentioned it again. Still more reassurance and the problem was not resolved. Time for my massage. I'll hand it to her, Suzy gives a great massage and this time I got the added bonus of nail polish on my jacket from Suzy's hands. She said that it wasn't her. I guess without realizing it, I must have inverted my torso and began dabbling in abstract art on the back of my jacket. I'm quirky like that. She wanted to use nail polish remover to get it out. Yeah, no. Then abruptly she said we were done. I had gel set over my nail beds and fingers and nail polish all over my hands. I couldn't believe it. And all I kept thinking was how I left this glowing review just last night. Lesson learned. Will I go back? I might. But next time I'll ask for someone else. I made an appointment once and was taken right away but even when I didn't make an appointment, I didnt have to wait long at all. They take their time with the pedicure and I never feel like their rushing. They have a special where they give you a 10 min foot massage for $10 extra which is well worth it. They also use hot stone with every pedicure. Everyone there is very sweet as well and they give you a shoulder massage while your nails/toes are drying.
