I'm always in search for a great place to get a pedi. I heard about this place from a friend so I decided to try it. I made an appointment once and was taken right away but even when I didn't make an appointment, I didnt have to wait long at all. They take their time with the pedicure and I never feel like their rushing. They have a special where they give you a 10 min foot massage for $10 extra which is well worth it. They also use hot stone with every pedicure. Everyone there is very sweet as well and they give you a shoulder massage while your nails/toes are drying. I came to this salon for the first time almost 2 years ago and I received an amazing gel mani! I came back again today to get a well-deserved pedicure and I'm even more satisfied than the last time!! I walked in without an appointment and I was immediately sat down. Their pedicure treatments are so relaxing! They give you a hot stone massage, too, which is included! I asked for a callous remover (+$10) and it was heavenly! The woman took her time and made sure I was relaxed and satisfied. All together I paid $33. LOVE Tips and More!!! A bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. From the minute you walk in, you're treated very well. The staff and owner are very friendly and accommodating. Make sure you call ahead for an appointment, because you are never rushed and it gets crowded. From the hot stone pedicure to the paraffin wax manicure with hot towel massage, I wish I could go more often. I've gotten regular manicures and they've lasted a while, now, I always get a gel manicure and I've never had a problem with chips, breaking, or not lasting long. They keep taking people without an appointment so your 15 minute wait turns into a 45 min wait ! They don't seem to care and paying full price $45.00. For a pedicure I expect not to have to wait another 25 before they start my manicure I'm going elsewhere !!! read more

For the money I wish they would have done a better job. I went for a fill in and gel polish and pedicure. The pedicure was great and polish came out nice. But the fill in sucked my nails have humps in them, some are thicker than other. The polish was nice and the girl did a great job on the design considering it was free hand but I asked for jewels and she forgot or maybe didnt understand me. Overall I think I would go back for a pedicure and manicure but as far as fill ins are concerned, NEVER AGAIN. read more

I've been here twice. The first time, I got a mani-pedi, and it was the slowest pedicure I've ever had. I don't think I had a regular member of the staff, and that may have affected the time took to complete. It wasn't that it was a particularly thorough pedicure, the movements were just impossibly slow. However, overall I was fairly pleased with the results. However, on the second visit I got a gel manicure. I was disappointed to find that they use a grinder thing to get my previous gel manicure off (though other salons I've been to haven't needed to use this tool). If that had been an effective method, I would have been fine with it, though the technician that was helping me definitely hit my nail bed more than a few times, my nails became uneven with a lot of grooves and dips, and my nails were incredibly raw and painful afterwards. I was saddened that this had happened, and I do not plan on going back because of this. read more

I love this place. When I find a salon, I'm a loyal customer. Unfortunately, I moved after living in River Edge for a year :( The salon is nice, clean and has great service. The staff always does a good job but sometimes they get busy and you might have to wait a bit, even with an appointment. Which is why I gave them 4 stars instead of 5. The basic pedi includes a hot stone massage and the mani includes paraffin wax. If you want good work on your nails, friendly service and decent prices then go here! read more

I had the worse experience ever at this nail salon. I came across this place looking for a new nail salon to come to regularly since I moved into a new neighborhood. I choose the most expensive services every time and usually come in 2x a month spending at least $150 for a uv gel tips and gel color mani and pedi with spa treatment and by the next day my gel color was peeling off. I called in and told them what was going on the woman then sounded mad that my polish was peeling asking me what I did , I said nothing it just started peeling. I went in at the time she told me to but she had me wait over an hour to be seen. When I was finally seen she had one of her workers who were not allowed to use the buffing machine sit there and file the polish off of my nails. This took a really long time. I asked her if someone who is allowed to use the machine could take it off since it will be a lot quicker and she said no one is available. I guess the Spanish women that work here can't use certain machinery and only are allowed to use files and do pedicures while the Asian women get to use the machines and they do mani's and stuff. Came off a bit racist to me. While she's saying no one is available one of the woman who does the acrylic nails (Asian) who is allowed to use the machine is sitting on her empty desk watching tv. I said what about her she looks pretty available, and she just said no. I was confused like maybe she has an appt coming or something but instead she just sat there in that empty chair the whole time up until I left. I was so angry I wanted to throw a fit but I was like I will just keep calm and know I'm never coming back here again. This place deserves ZERO stars ! read more

I have been going there for years. In the beginning great place at all times. Most times the manicure and pedicure are amazing. However lately if they are busy they do rush you thru and I find my gel manicure chipping within 2 -3 days. Also, the pedicure, when rushed, I could have done a better job at home. Other salons have a large selection and the latest colors in gel they have the same ones now for years they need to add to their collections regarding gel colors. I see my friends with great colors and then I go to Tips n More and no same old colors. A little pricey compared to other nail salons but they do take their time with the work. Meaning you can also be waiting along time for them to attend you or even get out if you are in a rush. I went to this place on Monday for the first time because i read there were so many good reviews on here and i thought finally a good place close to home. Not. I decided after years and years of not having fake nails i would treat myself and get them. An hour after i left this place one of them popped off. The next night i went back and got it replaced. First she put it on crooked and then had to re do it again. This was now Tuesday. Today is Thursday and now a different nail came off. Maybe i should of just got the gel manicure because clearly the fake nails they buy are cheap cheap cheap. If i was banging around my finger i could understand if it was my fault but from picking up a tv remote and from typing my nails should be coming off this easily. I just had the worst experience here. The lady with the pink glasses did a terrible job with my nails. First of all she was rushing and doing everything so fast and was very sloppy. I asked her to cut them a little (I normally like a almond shaped nail) and she literally cut them so short and butchered them she didn't cut at an angle she cut them squared (if you do that it's hard to shape them after to an almond shape!!!!!) duh! Then she glopped on the UV gel and didn't shape them or give them form. They were lumpy and disgusting. I went back and the owner tried to fix them but it was still a mess. Everyone asked what I did to my nails because they did NOT look good like they normally do. Needless to say I will NEVER go back there. I even paid which I should not have for that terrible job. Don't go there at all! French nails is really good spot in leonia. Even nail boutique in Hackensack is better than this place. read more

I recently moved to NJ from NY and was on a hunt for a good nail salon! In NY they usually use a nice scrub on your legs when you get a pedicure, they also give you a massage, and the service is overall better. For some reason, I could not find a nail salon in bergen county that did the same until yesterday! My sister told me to try Tips N More and I could not be happier! $28 for mani-pedi which included a hot paraffin treatment on my hands as well as a hand scrub, massage, and a hot towel shoulder massage while letting the paraffin treatment dry on my hands. The pedicure was also amazing. I got a hot stone massage with oil and a scrub! The women working there were sweet and amazing, the salon was clean and big. I have found my new nail salon and I definitely recommend it for someone who is looking for an extra pampering mani-pedi! I would suggest calling and making an appointment (I made mine the morning of and they were able to get me in). They also have a free parking lot for their customers. I am very disappointed with the service. Kathy, the owner, I thought was an attentive person but I soon realized that her interest is on the money. My first time doing a manicure was with Suzy, recommended by my daughter, but Suzy is sweet but doesn't know how to do good gel fill in, within two days one nail broke so I went back to fix it and they did free of charge. I spoke to Kathy and said that I would like her to do my nails from now on, she agreed. I went back and I first did my pedicure and then Kathy should be the one attending to my nails but instead she took another client while I was doing my pedicure. When I finished she told me that Tammy would start my nails and then she would finish it. Instead of that happening she spoke to Tammy in Korean and must have told her to continue with me. I didn't say anything because I wanted to give Tammy a chance because Kathy wasn't showing any interest in doing my nails, Tammy completed my manicure and fixed a broken nail the following day that same nail she supposedly fixed broke again . I've never been to a nail place that I've had to return to fix a nail so many times. No love so no money from me! read more

Went tonight. Very pleasant. I set up an appt and they took me right in. The pedicure was awesome especially the massage. They still do the stones but no more paraffin. Manager said that clients found it slippery so they stopped. They do it on all manicures though. I think they should make it an option. Then I would've gave 5 stars and became a regular. I just started going to this salon this summer. They do very good pedicures and manicures. I like the cleanliness, the owner and the courtesy of the staff. I also like how my nails look at completion. However, they need greater improvement with their gel manicures. In July, I did a gel manicure and had to go back two days later to fix two nails because the nails chipped and peeled. They did fix the nails at no charge. I decided to try them again last weekend. I did my nails (gel manicure) and two chipped and peeled the next day. Yesterday, they fix the two nails at no cost again but later that evening another nail started to chip. So I am done with this salon. While I like them, it's a waste of money and time because a gel manicure should last at least two weeks. You will get a Great regular manicure and pedicure but stay away from gel manicure! read more

Went here because my usual spot couldn't take my appointment so late as I was getting to my hometown much later. There was one girl who was doing all pedicures, and she did my pedicure perfectly. But it was all downhill for the color gel manicure. The lady asked me if I wanted to cut my nails, I said yes a bit because they were really long. My very first nail, she cut it to the nail bed. Then she had to make the rest at least somewhat similar so they matched. Some nails she cut normal and some are puny and down to the nail bed. She also filed them even with them being cut so short, so she was pretty much filing the sensitive skin there. When it also came to using the cuticle nippers, she was yanking at my skin and I had to pull my hands away a few times. I've honestly never had a manicure like this and that too, one that hurt. By the end, my nails looked like I'm someone who bites them and I could not get past how horrible they looked. Even though the girl giving the pedicure was good, I will definitely not go back. Definitely sticking to my usual spot. read more
